Why are financial markets giving french debt a higher risk premium than literal olive skinned lazy unproductive southern """europeans"""?
>>
>>61055385
You are looking at from the wrong angle
Nothing happened to France
Italy is just getting better, finally recovering from 2008
>>
>>61055439
Lol lmao

>Nothing is happening goy, the government just broke down for the fifth time in half a year, this time in under 14 hours
Nothing to see here
>>
>>61055446
lol, lmao even
This is how France always has been. Pay attention to politics if you want to talk about politics in the future
>>

France is truly fucked: it's in the early stages of a debt trap
It's also one of the countries with the highest taxes on earth, so they can't really get more income
They also cannot reduce spending: reducing gibs would lead to civil war and politicians are unwilling to cut the number of useless bureaucrats and regulations
>>
>>61055467
This is a symptom not the disease. The disease is European union - overregulation and protected soft complacent companies. To fool your public into thinking everything is ok you have to spend money you don't have to keep the illusion.
>>
>>61055489
I also hate the EU, but France is not blameless here
>>
>>61055385
This comes to mind.
>Japanese PM placed in hyperbearish on the yen
Cohencidence?
>>
>>61055385
Once one big part of the Eu like France goes down, the whole fucking thing will collapse.
>>
>>61055385
>than literal olive skinned lazy unproductive southern europeans
still better than 30% of frafrica that is present day metropolitan france

>>61055467
and the real joke is that ~1985 till the gfc in 2008 was a golden age for europe economically speaking and still they ran the debt skyhigh before the real crisis began
i am also calling it at a negative zero chance for them to be able to turn this around, its a debt death spiral now
>>
>>61055999
Checked, and the strange thing is that the EU is killing France, probably not realising what the consequences will be
>>
>>61055922
in response to that thread
is everyone so sure the trump admin is going to bail out the eu right now rather than letting it fail and buying it up afterwards for dollarcents on the 500 euro bill
the entire eu needs the 2012 greek treatment and that will not happen voluntarily
>>
>>61055439
This isn't true. The average approval rating of their presidents has been gradually sliding since De Gaulle. He had a large net positive approval rating.
Macron is at negative 50. Trump is at negative 10 for comparison.
>>
>>61056201
It would cost more not to.
>>

France is a socialist country.
That's really, really expensive. To be socialist you require resources you don't actually produce, you have to take them/steal them. It creates a far more violent society as well because people that aren't working don't actually understand how anything works, and they become dependent on the state.
That state dependency is now so extreme, that the government has run out of money outright.
The left is simply angry, and in their rage they want to tax and take everything from the people they know understood the system, and understood where this was all going: the rich, the industrialists, the French families that actually owned everything BEFORE this road to ruin started. Those families have been unjustly rewarded by the state because of inflation, making their capacity to borrow money (and thus get inflation to take care of the debt for them) a key part of their 'success'.
The right wing is so lost in terms of its goals, it only wants to buy time.
Maybe the dollar collapses before Europe does? Maybe Asia first? Somebody save me?!
Europe is fucked.
Oil isn't worth fuck all anymore, forget about oil priced in dollars ($60) price it in gold and you'll see what's happening. Norway is supposedly the 'richest' country in Europe because it has trillions in 'funds'... it owns equities across the western world that are also fuck all worthless.
This entire ponzi scheme, built on debt, is about to collapse. Interest rates are gonig to go up even as desperate central banks do unilimited QE to stop it, because this was all DEBT. It wasn't magic.
>>
>>61056208
you are assuming both predictable reason and an adherence to the status quo from the trump admin while everything he has done thus far has been upheaval to the status quo
given the deplorable state of the world right now the entire isolationist fortress north america strategy isnt even all that retarded
i mean he is forcing every company to dunkirk their productive assets out of europe into the continental states, kinda makes you go hmm
>>
>>61055874
no you are correct; the problem is as I said, a desire to avoid difficult decisions required to make structural changes to cope with the declining competitiveness. They have been forced by boomer politicians/socialists to continue policies they are no longer rich enough to afford.
>>
Coon's Law: the most Niggafied states in Europe will be the first to formally implode
>>
>>61055922
explain picrel to me as if i was a complete retard (i am)
>>
>>61056260
I'm saying the Eurodollar would collapse if they don't. Also, it's Powell's job. Trumpette doesn't have a say in the matter.
