Yield curve could get out of control as even in all this the western nations are accelerating deficit spending. - Geopolitics. The Russia gamble has failed. Hundred of billions up in smoke. Panic among the power structures in Europe as they know to lose the war. And lose cheap Russian petrochemicals. Will see them all ripped out root and stem eventually when populations have had enough. - Subprime crisis brewing again. The same bad behaviour that triggered 2008 has returned on steroids in bigger markets. Auto, housing. - The property tax bond bubble by cities and municipalities in the US is completely under water. - Equities overbought signals past dotcom metrics. 7 companies holding things up. All fueld by cheap money. That in turn fuels the above and de dollarisation. Vicious circle. I could go on.

There's hints that Sam has raised concerns about the danger of the strategy before. Basically PARTS of the management had been running the scam not just on the people they're sell the securities to but also on the company itself. Their incentive was to deny and cover up any risk involved with the strategy since they personally made commissions on sales and bonuses when specific sales targets were met. Even if the company going bust wasn't uncovered by rocketboy, those people had already made huge amounts of money and would run off to do something else. But there's still a segment of the top management that weren't paid solely in cash but through things like options, Sam brings up that he has some when he tries to quit. Tuld meanwhile is probably a big shareholder outright. They'd be fucked if the company goes bust. They're the ones freaking out while people like Sarah just sort of sits there and going "Oh wow I didn't know anything about this until now. Who is the rat? This seems to be a big deal. Who is the rat?"When Tuld is pretending to be retarded and asking for simple explanations, he's isn't just asking people to spell out exactly what is going wrong so everyone understands the financial situation.
