$300M payable end of this Q from one contract with freyr technologies that will total $1.5B

Two other tens of millions contracts signed in Taiwan & UK

Still has up to $5Billion in potential contracts in closing stages of tender, to be announced over the next 12 - 24 months.

They are Asian Palantir and the charts suggest they are about to pop. Heavily shorted so when it pops the squeeze pops it even more and it will go parabolic.

Short term easy double, long term should be a multi bagger.

My understanding is that the US stock market, like the majority of financial instruments, is primarily owned by people who could lose 90% of their wealth and still be wealthier than over 90% of all people on the planet, so they pump and dump to screw regular people out of their money, and "investing" in the stock market is mostly just gambling. Add to this that the stock market is mostly controlled by machines that automatically trade based on signals.

As an example of what I mean, I bought Bitcoin when it was under $30k, but I sold it because I needed the money. If I didn't really need the money I would have made thousands of dollars in profit. My lack of profit was caused by the fact that I actually needed the money in order to survive. Prior to this, I had planned on acquiring about $30k in Bitcoin when it was at $6k, but I spent the money on education instead, so now I have a shiny degree that I don't use. The people that own the majority of financial assets don't have to choose between education and assets, because $30k is so small of an amount of money to them that it's negligible, like when you tip the bartender and extra couple of dollars.

My understanding is that the majority of the stock market is owned by people that do not need the money to survive. So they can choose to pump the market, then dump it, and buy more stocks at the low point, while everyone that actually needs the money suffers. And this is true of pretty much all financial instruments, which is why owning a house outright is considered to be a good investment. If the market crashes, at least you still have a roof over your head.

So all of /biz/ is pretty much just people talking about getting lucky gambling, or signals from the house, which always comes out on top in the end.

>>
>>61060240
>primarily owned by people who could lose 90% of their wealth
The market goes up because they will not lose 90%, they also control the banks, SEC, GOV, DOD, and bond market. They earn hundreds of billions in dividends and interest in addition to price stock price appreciation and selling to retail and pensions. They will not let the market crash. The dollar may continues to lose most of its value but the line goes up.
>>
>>61060278
It's not necessarily that I feel above it, though I definitely feel a sensation of having missed out.

Quite contrary, I am actually approaching having around $10k to invest, I own my home outright, and I should be able to invest at least 5% of my income from here on out.

I just have this sensation that the system is rigged. As an example, in 2012, I moved to a new city, and the exact month I moved to the new city, housing prices in that city doubled.

I love the concept of investing, but it just seems sketchy. I don't gamble in casinos, I don't play gaccha games or pay-to-win collectibles card games.

But I have $10,000 to invest. That's close to 10% of my net worth. My understanding is that the majority of financial instruments are owned by people for whom $10k is so small it's almost nothing relative to what they have, and they use that against people like me.

Some companies have a very long track record of not only paying divies but also slowly increasing every year. If you bought a good divy stock long ago during a normal pull back the money can be very good. But, it takes just one loser to become CEO and trash the company. ATT and CE for example. At least ATT is still recovering.

The best jobs for AI to replace is CEO, CFO, COO, and HR which will save a lot of money and boost profits.. The actual work still needs to be done by humans until robots and do it, and that is still a few decades off.

It's true that stocks are volatile, that investors who can hold for decades are rewarded, and that richer investors have an easier time doing that. But I don't think the S&P 500 is pumped and dumped by an organized conspiracy of wealthy people.

>So all of /biz/ is pretty much just people talking about getting lucky gambling
Yeah, most of what you see here is random chance. Most trading opportunities are exploited by traders with far more speed, information, and analytical ability than us, leaving near-randomness for everyone else.

First, every rich person isn't working together to screw you, they're working against each other. Take some solace in that fact.
Second, go look at literally any chart of the stock market. Where are the pumps and dumps you speak of? If they are somehow conspiring as you say, then they're doing it over decades. And at that point, it's such a slow moving process it's hard to attribute it to anyone.
Third, lol I just realized your talking exclusively about bitcoin.

Query successful

The self-serving bias is a common cognitive bias where people tend to attribute positive outcomes or successes to internal factors (their own talent, effort, or skill) and attribute negative outcomes or failures to external factors (bad luck, circumstances, or the actions of others).

In simple terms, we like to take credit for the good things and blame outside forces for the bad things. This bias is primarily a mechanism to protect and enhance our self-esteem.

>what investment vehicle would you recommend to a young american female based in japan?
>thank you in advance!
I would recommend talking to a financial/investment expert. You've got two sets of tax laws to worry about, as well as currency risk (as the conversion rate between dollars and yen fluctuates).

Also, are you just talking 401(k)/retirement account investing? Or are you also building a personal portfolio via a brokerage account?

And how experienced an investor are you? Do you have experience with stocks, bonds, mutual funds? More exotic/risky assets like options and futures? Do you prefer to trade on technicals or fundamentals?

>management too dumb to be good normally
>management also too dumb to pay bribes
It's that simple.
Even INTC CEO got the memo.
It really is just a testament to how dumb you are for investing in absolute retards.

Well, first off, saying that you're wealthier than 90% of the planet isn't saying much. Last I checked, that just meant having two thousand dollars.

Investing - real investing - isn't gambling. It involves looking at the fundamentals and/or technicals of an asset, using them to value the asset, and understanding how local and world events could impact that valuation.

For example, I'm primarily a fundamental investor in stocks. As such, I look at the price to earnings ratio, the book value, the long term debt . . .when picking an investment. When I buy a company, it's because I know that it's healthy, with good prospects for future growth, and so far it's worked pretty well for me.

And as a fundamental investor, I can't buy cryptocurrencies. They have no known fundamentals to evaluate, so I have no way of knowing what a good price is.

(That's not a criticism of crypto traders, by the way. It's just my investing style and techniques aren't suited for it.)

As for pump-and-dump, insider trading, and market manipulation? It's illegal, but I'm not naive enough to believe it doesn't happen - I've seen too many suspiciously well timed trades over the years.

I've also seen a lot of people who use the market to gamble. They just pick names that sound cool, or that they heard on CNBC, without really knowing or trying to understand what they've bought. But again, that's not investing.

There are a lot of good books and reputable websites, if you're trying to learn to invest. Do you need/want some recommendations?
