People should be grateful for the opportunity to accumulate gold miners at a lower price today. As long as the price of gold remains elevated (even if it's lower than a few days ago), they will be making massive amounts of money. Their earnings reports are still going to show massive growth.

Now I check and again and it turns out in the hours that followed, I gained more and ended the day at +0.80%

I don't understand the gold and silver bullish streak at all. Inflation is low, even if it does go up when rates are cut it won't be by a lot. Is it all really caused by the arbitrary 2% inflation target not being reached by the fed? Possible that it has been caused by the tariffs, but those will get nuked after dems crush MAGAts in the midterms. Same thing with many of the minerals pumping in price, seems transitory to me. Things that will likely be undone in 2026 have been priced in.

Their core business is, but it is resource light and prints money.

Their acquisitions are really smart, particularly optics odd and odds jam which sells data to punters and bookies respectively. Their big loss last quarter was due to bonus clauses for optics odd's stellar performance.

They are also seasonal and are about to go into their strongest 2 quarters, where they will post record revenue, record profit and pay down some of the debt.

2026 is going to be great for them with the world cup taking place in summer, which would otherwise be their weakest time of year. The most bet on sporting event on the planet is taking place in the continent that spends the most gambling, match made in heaven.

Also by summer 2026 some more nations/states will have legalised online gambling. Losing India this year was not ideal.

Long term I am very bullish and think it is stupidly good value for money at these prices. I liked it at $11. I LOVE IT AT $7.80!

I saw that Yieldstreet put individual investor money into this "First Brands" dumpster fire which seems to be getting worse by the day.

I recall that the first time I heard the name "Yieldstreet" is when they loaned retail baggie money to a buyer of ships for scrapping, who then naturally proceeded to scrap and dismantle the ships while the mortgages were still attached to them. About $80m vanished.

Are you serious? The govt shutdown is ending next week and that will cause a pump

>muh healthcare for illegals

That narrative has already shifted. GOP is going to cuck out to avoid having the military go unpaid, and because nobody wants to raise healthcare premiums on voters. Throw in (maybe) the Supreme Court limiting executive tariff power and a giga pump is possible before EOY

I don't think SCHD is on discount I think it's just a failed model not relevant in modern times. It was probably sound when it was created and every good company paid dividends but now all the best companies prefer buybacks instead. So to keep the yield increasing it's been forced to buy a bunch of junk companies that really have nothing to offer but some shitty dividend they can barely maintain.

Anyone else notice that CFRA - one of the "free" stock analysts that many brokers share with their retail clients - has a really screwed up report on AMD? Their research report mixes numbers from before and after the OpenAI deal, so it touts AMD's post-OpenAI runup. Yet their estimate of AMD's fair market value uses pre-OpenAI numbers.

Sloppy research? Or are they just afraid to say that - based on their own numbers - AMD's in a bubble, trading at almost fifty percent more than it should?
