Crypto is finished for the average person. There is a reason hype is practically non existent despite the price of Bitcoin. Last cycle should have had these numbers and people burned thought all their resources anyway.

Nobody knows the future. For me 2017 crypto was such an anomaly that I was pretty sure that it's never going to repeat again, a rare once in a lifetime event that will only last a brief moment. So you can play it safe or go wild with it and see how far you can go.
I've calculated the maximum rekt I could get into and still be relatively ok 5 years later, if the worst case scenario came to pass. But I heavipy underestimated the worst case scenario. I suspected ~50-60% of crypto to be a scam, not 99.9% of it.

ALTs are a gamble.
If they don't pump - nothing happened. No biggie.
If they do pump - you win.
Simple as. If there's a 5-10% chance that alts will pump, it's worth it. If they don't pump the only cost you're met with is opportunity cost.
