Aaaaand back down we go…
Those Yotsuba coins are nice tho
>>
>>61075191
Nice. I hope it dips below 40. Got some buy orders set.
>>
>>61075131
Weren't the Yotsuba coins sold at $50 each?
>>
>>61075135
Spot went up to $56 briefly. Futures never hit $50. Backwardation is fucking nuts. The real story isn't the price though. The real story is London's metals market on the verge of collapse.

I've got a few I'd part with

They're already cleaned out in parts of the world. Australia, Japan, UK, Vietnam, and a few others I saw rumors of them with hours long lines and selling out of EVERYTHING.
>>
Coin shops are not the price setting mechanism of the market though. London and NYC markets set the prices through 1000 oz bar contracts. London is supposedly close to empty, or already empty though which is where a lot of countries have been buying the silver from. The price action combined with London running dry is leading to a stampede on retail bullion.
>>
If London's metal markets end up defaulting, they will lose control of the price setting mechanism and then it will be New York and Shanghai left standing. The US recalled a MASSIVE amount of gold and silver in the first half of the year, which leads me to think the US might also abandon trying to set the price and instead will hoard the gold and silver to itself and let Shanghai take control while America chooses the digital currency route. We are watching the death of the old world.
