I do all of this except I'm not afraid to sell bigger portions of my holdings when the prices are high.
Sold 90% of my BTC last Monday at ATH, bought it back yesterday evening.

Problem is... I don't know if it's the first dip or the fucking dip.
>>
I have a much simpler list
Step 1: buy bitcoin
Step 2: there is no step 2, see rule 1

I'm 100% MSTR.
My time horizon is 20 years.
I will continue to buy over that time.

1. Secure keys: Keep seed phrases & private keys offline. Never store them in cloud, screenshots, or messages.
2. Backups: Make multiple copies stored safely in different locations.
3. Strong passwords: Unique, long (16+ chars), and never reused.
4. Cold storage: Use hardware wallets (Ledger, Trezor, Coldcard) for savings; hot wallets only for daily use.
5. Verify before signing: Check addresses, amounts, and URLs, phishing kills.
6. Multi-sig: Use multi-signature wallets for extra security (2-of-3 setups).
7. Update safely: Only download wallet updates from official sites.
8. Privacy: Don’t reuse addresses or connect your main wallet to random apps.
9. Periodic checks: Test restores and confirm backups still work.

Rule #1: If someone else can access your keys, it’s not your crypto.

Short positions always rely on leverage. What, am I supposed to not short then?
