what happened? what was it like?
>>
>>61098642
Awesome. Felt my testosterone rise. I told people this and they said it might just be dopamine.
>>
>>61098642
im a good goyslave so ive never been fired
>>
Yes twice, it was because I had a female boss on those 2 occasions. I guess they can feel that I consider them a joke.
>>
Yes, I got fired from multiple minimum wage jobs because I was always 5 minutes late. Another one because I reported my boss for being a racist and he fired me in retaliation, turns out they side with the manager always until the investigation is up, and who the fuck can wait 6 months for a job. Literally all of them if I go in to shop they ask if I want to come back because I’m a hard worker. As if you needed proof though work ethic doesn’t really matter in the U.S.
>>
i work for my dad so no
>>
>>61098672
Racist? lol
You will never see superior people complainin about racism.
>>
>>61098696
He was a Mexican calling other Mexican workers beaners. Not that I care to hear Cletus whining about “them people” either while I’m working, just haven’t run across anyone that dumb yet.
>>
>>61098642
not yet but I was literally asking for it a few weeks ago. told my boss I dont need "this" and that we could end our "partnership" right now. was unlucky and he got scared and didnt fire me. still wish he went through with it. its like trying to jump off a building and asking someone to push you over the edge.
>>
>>61098672
>turns out they side with the manager always
Obviously, because if he's in the wrong you could sue
>>
>>61098654
Can someone reply to this?
Does that mean everyone with a job is constantly depressed?
>>
>>61098725
Some work places have a “no contact” policy while investigation is ongoing between two employees I thought, this one didn’t at least. Either way, they sided with me in the end, I think it’s fucked if you make a legitimate report you get canned though because that disincentivizes reporting behavior.
>>
>>61098745
>Does that mean everyone with a job is constantly depressed?
its part of the package, yes. it usually comes and goes in waves.

I've quit the dozens or so of jobs I had. I only got fired from one by some faggot manlet italian because his hott wife that I also worked with rubbed her ass on my dick one day when she squeezed by me and he saw it. It was a pizza place. It felt good man...his wifes ass.
>>
>>61098761
Bro..
I remember handing out resumes online and how low test it felt. I also remember getting hired for a job and feeling depressed immediately lol.
Something about 40 hours gone monday to Friday feels bad.
>>
>>61098642
Got fired from a 20 year job at a university due to not taking the covid jab. I had to sue them for myvseverance. I don't miss it at all.
>>
>>61098642
yeah, i was working at subway and my bare hand touched the inside of the freezer, it ripped a piece of my skin off and i didn't notice, and i accidentally may have bled into some of the food. whoops!
>>
>>61098762

>>
>>61098642
Only once, been lucky af.
I was working summers as a mechanic, did a break job on a car and somehow the car ended up with a loose wheel. To this day I don't know how I fucked it up, I had done a few hundred break jobs, but the car left, the car came back within a few hours with a fucking loose wheel, and that was that.
>>
>>61098917

Women managers are absolutely the worst thing in a company, they will 100% pursue you getting fired if they even feel the slightest disturbance by you. The only way to be safe with a female boss is being a Chad.
>>
>>61099091
A chad working under a woman. lol. More like a pushover doormat. The men causing the disturbance are the chads. lol.

Couldn't agree with you anymore. Especially when you're a manlet 3/10. I've never been more blackpilled than recent years.

Turns out accurate data entry gets you fired. Round those numbers to your manager's liking, and you get to keep your job. I hate jobs so fucking much. Training other employees and helping them with what they struggled with for weeks quickly and only to be backstabbed because the manager felt inferior for not knowing English like me. Fuck this world. I hate dealing with low iq people. I'm never going to work again unless they seriously pay me well. I wish i could sue them, but I would probably only get a $1k check with the amount of asskissing people do for rich folks.
>>
>>61098642
I've been fired like 3 times. You get over it, and it's not actually not that hard to rebound from. Literally every time I've gotten fired from a job, the next job I took paid more than the one that let me go. The trick is to be responsible with your money so that you don't have to take desperately take a McJob to pay the bills, and can carefully search for a better opportunity. You also can get unemployment, assuming they didn't fire you for attendence or something.

Currently making 80k/yr
>>
>>61099832
Why not get a McJob and look for better jobs while mcwaging. I’ll be damned if I’m touching any of my principal.
>>
>>61099867
Financially speaking you're correct and that absolutely makes sense. However as a matter principle I refuse to take a job that pays less than my previous job. Money is also a resource to be used. Obviously yes, I want to become a multimillionaire, but the point of being a millionaire is to own your own time, and you don't actually need millions to do that. At least for a year or two. The difference between retiring with $3M and $2.8M because of a 8-9 months of unemployment in my 20's isn't that significant to me.
>>
>>61099832
This pretty much, getting fired means you messed up and learned a lesson, and that you’ll be ok but you won’t believe it till you’re working in the new place. Keep in contact with head hunters or people who work in your industry along with your resume up-to-date often. This way if a new gig comes up you’ll be the first to know, and at best maybe you can get some temp work inbetween jobs. Usually if you got fired it wasn’t the right place for you anyway. The minute you’re marked or complaining about your job get out, it never gets better. It just takes one person in the workplace or team to make it miserable. Never trust your colleagues since you’re all battling for a pay check. No company is worth your life force, and after a while being in a few companies makes you realize do your job, stay in your lane and work life balance is greater than all.

had a job at this corporate soulless place
i was at the front desk basically as a receptionist
it was a bit embarrassing to have a "woman" job but it was better than being unemployed
2 weeks after i started my supervisor started telling me to write down the names of all the people coming in the morning and then send her the list at 10 am so i started asking the names of the employees as they were clocking in and made the list
fast forward two months later and my supervisor tells me to stop writing the names but since by that point i knew the names of the employees i greeted them by name in the morning when they were coming in
you know, saying "good morning [name]"
that kind of thing
well some girl did not like that and put a complaint for sexual harassment with HR and i got fired because "they take those things very seriously"
i explained what happened but they still fired me

about 1 year later i discovered that the chick that got me fired was kind of a bitch and a nepo baby who got away with a ton of shit because her dad had a high level position at that company and apparently she did not like that i was being so casual and friendly with her as if we were friends

i wish i could end this story with "but karma got to her and now she is in a very bad situation" but unfortunately no, she is doing very well for herself nowadays
>>
>>61098642
Yes, when I was an electrician assistant and for good reason. I had 0 experience (lied to get the job) and they caught on once the guy that I was working with who got me in left. After that I was only laid off along with hundreds of others once. I always saw losing a job as a blessing.
>>
>>61098642
Only once, though it was kind of a mutual thing. There was a heavy equipment mishap that wasn't my fault really but almost killed me and had me seriously re-evaluating whether I should be working that job to begin with. I was very upset, he was very upset because his shit got damaged, we had a big row and then each stormed off, never to work together again.
Aside from that it's always been me dipping.
>>
>>61098642
Yes, in Germany. I am suing them now. Fuck them.
>>
Yes. It's because I "called out too often". It was only 2 times in 1 month even though I was there for a year prior with no call outs.
>>
>>61098642
No, but I've been ghosted before. They stopped putting me on the schedule and after a month I came in and asked why I wasn't getting hours the manager ignored me. It was a high school job so idgaf.

I was "fired" in my first two jobs out of high school.
First job was a car detailing job cleaning customer cars. The owners were Arab Muslims, anyway I was let go by the end of my first day there. Thank God, what a shitty dirty job run by scammy brown scumbags.
Second job my friend got me, working in a factory packing stuff into boxes. Super boring mind numbing job. The bosses pet employee asked me my age and I told her 18, then she laughed loudly and said she thought I was a 12 year old child because I looked young for my age. She did this in front of everyone which made me feel humiliated as I was insecure about my manliness at that young adulthood age. So I immediately blurted out "at least I'm not a dwarf" because she was really short. My friend busted out laughing and I smirked. I looked over and saw the really tall Swedish backpacker smiling at me, as she probably also hates dwarf women and I validated her tall height.
Anyway she probably went and cried to the boss telling him I'm no good. At around two weeks in I was supposed to stay after work to fill out employment forms with the boss, but I got tired of waiting and left. Then when I rang up the next day they said I was not needed anymore.
Good, it was a shitty job anyway, I wanted to kms half way through each shift.
It was then I decided to get a college education to never work these menial jobs again.

>>
>>61098642
Yes it was a small company filled with uber normies and they didn't like that I wasn't an uber normie like them so they got rid of me for "not being a good fit". Got a fat severance check and like 4 months of unemployment though so wasn't the end of the world.
>>
Kek everyone here is such an aspie, no wonder you want to stop working.
>>
Getting fired doesn’t affect me, either I go back to Toyko or tropical paradise.

>19 years old
>Waiter at local italian restaurant
>Worst performer amongst staff due to autism
>boss comes over one evening and asks me if I like working there
>I say, "yeah sure"
>he says, "you know if you don't want to work here anymore you can just leave"
>too autistic to understand what he's implying
>I say, "no I like working here and I need the job"
>he says, "ok, because it might be better for everyone if you found a job somewhere else"
>???
>he says, "jesus, nevermind"

Continued to work there for another year and then left without saying anything, took a while for me to realise he had tried to gently let me go, felt kind of good that I overpowered him without even realising it.

I was fired from my first job in a pizzeria because the waitress was nice to me and the owner wanted to fuck her. I was fired literally the same day he saw us flirting during a cig break.

I was fired from my second job because a male co-worker (who was a midget) fucked up bigly, but he put the blame on me, and because I was new, no one believed me. His car needed 4 new tires and a paint job soon after.

And I've been fired half a dozen times as an architect for several reasons, mainly refusing to break laws or, recently, for forcing the compliance of security measures in a building site. At least this time they paid me the full fee, so I'm not complaining.

Why working on tech is a mistake:
>software engineer with a decade of experience
>working for the first company I've ever actually liked
>top performer, per management, and on track for promotion
>slightly gay Bay Area political pandering but whatever
>out of nowhere: company is acquired by some monolith I've never heard of
>acquiring company has Indian CTO
>all the C-Levels are American Psycho sociopaths
>think about bailing
>the tech job crash of 2022-2023 hits, job market is terrible
>try to hang on instead
>the inevitable layoffs happen
>survive the first rounds
>turn on computer one day 6 months later
>mandatory meeting with manager and skip level manager
>see people vanishing on Slack
>half of employees are fired immediately
>the rest of us are given the option to stay and train our replacements before being let go
>alternative: leave with nothing in a market with no jobs
>do the needful
>get a team full of Indians making $10,000/year
>their resumes are a suspiciously exact matches to our jobs
>it takes <2 hours to figure out their resumes are bullshit
>cannot even open a MySQL client without 2 weeks of babysitting
>the only smart one is a woman
>they all immediately tell her to shut up if she speaks
>suddenly the Rivian drivers who wept for George Floyd aren't concerned with blatant misogyny
>try to explain all of this, nobody cares
>realize the people who screwed me over deserve terrible employees
>tell management how great the Indians are instead
>I leave for a backwater shithole company to survive
>every Indian I trained ends up getting fired anyway
>to this day they are still firing and replacing Indians to do my job
>to this day I'm still working for a shitty company for shit pay
This was the day I learned a very important lesson about "hard work" and "meritocracy" in the United States of America. There is no pride of work in this country and you are a moron if you believe in it, like I did.
