>be me>25 year old autist NEET>can't get a job because I don't have work experience because I can't get a job and so on and so forth>dropped out of university after studying IT for a year, can't go back now because from what I've heard the industry is oversaturated and the money is no longer there>too retarded to study anything else even though I would like to>live at home, have $100 a week left from my NEETbux after paying board>only other financial assets are $130 AUD in crypto (mostly BTC, DOGE and PEPE) and just shy of $1000 AUD in my superannuation (which I can't access because the fund I was with closed my account and gave it to the ATO because I didn't have enough in my account)>every fast food restaurant, supermarket, and retailer within 50km of my house has rejected my worthless resume and sold my contact details to telemarket scammers who refuse to leave me the fuck aloneHow the fuck can I possibly make it from here?
>>61099013Are you cute? Do you look good in a dress?
>>61099013you cant but the good news is this is all of us. i havent had a job for 5 years because i didnt vaxx.
>>61099013>every fast food restaurant, supermarket, and retailer within 50km of my houseConsider yourself lucky, those jobs are humiliation rituals, Especially if you're used to a lifetime of NEETdom, waging at Maccas would kill a NEET.
>>61099034Probably not.
>>61099013consider the interwebs
>>61099097Then you need to start an exercise routine so you will. Also learn how to apply the right makeup and filter. Other than that your options are kneepads or aping your spare $100 into a random alt and getting out before it rugs.
This is basically me, except I'm still in school but my brain has been absolutely fried since covid, can't focus on schoolwork anymore, and am on the verge of getting kicked out after 6 yrs in school studying EE (dropped out) and now CS. I look at a textbook or lecture slide and instantly wanna fall asleep. Didn't use to be this way, but idk what happened. The only thing I could manage to do was work on personal projects that genuinely interested me. Still have trouble focussing on even those though, but not as much as schoolwork. So I hatched a plan a year ago: do a project significant enough that companies will ignore my lack of internships or work experience and still wanna hire me. It was a longshot, cuz I could've easily been delusional. But decided to go for it anyway. Couple months in, I still could not focus. 99% of my time was spent scrolling Twitter. For some people, TikTok is herion; for me it's Twitter. At this point the only thing that was gonna make me work was purposely ruining my own life, prompting me to work the hardest I ever have and fix it, or basically jump off a bridge. So I took a cash advance off my credit card equal to ~60% of the credit limit (about 5k) and put it on a Polymarket bet. The bet went south. I was now in 5k of debt. So the only way forward was to take another cash advance of the remaining amount, and use that for monthly minimum payments, and, in the mean time, work my ass off on the project and get a job through it.This did get me working. Debt really does do that.I completed the project about a month ago. It was a success. Achieved exactly what I wanted to. And it actually did end up being significant enough that I now have some interviews lined up. Working on a take-home assignment rn for an internship as well. And these are good tech jobs. Not big tech, but established companies easily paying 100k+.I'm still incredibly nervous for the interviews cuz I can't do Leetcode. But hopefully it works out.
>>61099209Most 25 year olds have no idea how delectably fuckable they can get if they make a bit of effort.
>>61099352Now, idk if you're capable of taking this route. IT != CS/software eng, so maybe you can't do a significant software project. But there's probably *something* ur good at that. Leverage that.Could go into trades etc. Become a tree planter or some shit. Get some money in ur pocket and then figure out what u wanna do from there. But one thing that does work, from my experience, in forcing urself to figure shit out, is: ruining ur life. Take a large cash advance, withdraw the cash, and throw it down a river. This will either force u to work and get ur life straight, or it'll make you jump off a bridge.Another thing: 1g of shrooms (inb4 hippie bullshit). I'm not joking this shit does rewire ur brain. It's not some silver bullet, but it will def wake ur brain up if you've spent years scrolling and completely frying it.Good luck.
>>61099013>rejected my worthless resume and sold my contact details to telemarket scammersit really should fucking be illegal, but apparently it's not. this happened to me also
>>61099434Me too.
>>61099426>Now, idk if you're capable of taking this route. IT != CS/software eng, so maybe you can't do a significant software project. But there's probably *something* ur good at that. Leverage that.Compsci/software engineering instead of IT? Not sure about that, the only thing I enjoyed was the programming itself. Literally everything else about that year of study (database modelling, engineering principles, cybersecurity, etc.) sucked.>Could go into trades etc. Become a tree planter or some shit. Get some money in ur pocket and then figure out what u wanna do from there.I wouldn't last a day in trades unfortunately, I am a soft fat faggot.
>>61099060I can't find a job in anything else.
>>61099013Have you considered sucking dick? There's always job openings in that field.
>>61099013>can't go back now because from what I've heard the industry is oversaturated and the money is no longer thereThat's a bullshit excuse. Knuckle down and finish it, then contact temp agencies.
>>61100079Only parts that I was good at were solely focusing on being a code monkey. I failed topics on cybersecurity, database modelling and pretty much everything else you need to know to get a job in that field. Only reason I studied it in the first place was to get an easy six figure job, if those aren't even there then what's the point?
Just be yourself
>>61099013Lots of excuses here bud. Just study something else. Look into certificates or courses your college might offer like welding, machining, CAD, CNC, blueprinting. Maybe look for a tech school for electricians. Medical equipment technicians and operators.
>>61099013Post office
>>61099013how about an hero and stop draining my tax dollars you worthless bludger
>>61100749Never. I never asked to be born, the world owes me compensation for being forced to exist as an autist.
>>61099013Time to gig, faggot. Put those miles in delivering slop to wagies. There are electric bikes with easily swappable batteries so you could buy several batteries and swap them at home in the middle of the day when you run out of juice. You can also work for several apps at the same time. The other day I saw someone picking up electric scooters and carrying them in his e-bike somewhere. I assume he collects them and delivers them somewhere so they could be charged. Anyway the guy also had a Wolt bag behind him so he picks and chooses whatever is available at the time.>>61100079Kek the industry is fucking packed man, and they usually look for talkative and communicative people, not autists. It used to be autists back in the day, but now there is such a supply of engineers that employers pick and choose for people with le heckin soft skills.
>>61103156Don't you barely break even doing that shit?
>>61099352LMFAO STUPID FUCK>t. took out 35k in debt, put it all in ethereum at 2k and never paid a single cent of the debt back
>>61100749Second this motion.
>>61099013Join the army
>>61104769Break even to what? Paying the slight bump to your mom's power bill? The extra food and water you will consume? Or ROI on bike + maintenance? Delivering pays shit, less than minimum wagies, but it still pays. People wouldn't work delivering if it didn't make them money. At the very least it will get you out of the house. The barrier to entry effectively doesn't exist. There's no interview. Literally just have a bank account and don't be a criminal or have a previous ban with the delivery apps. At minimum you will have to exchange words with cashiers and customers - opportunity to talk. Women will be among them so more therapy to your autism. You will see people. You will think of ideas. Just don't NEET out and waste your youth. There are some youtubers who record themselves delivering. Watch a few clips talking about their day to day. Some use mopeds, some e-bikes, some even use a fucking car. I used to watch this "recovering" alcoholic that lived in his car and lived off of delivering and youtube income. The guy was a turbo sфyboy so he spent money on stupid shit like ninja turtle toys and fast food. You won't have the youtube income but you also have a home to live in so it cancels out. You also will eat at home and save money.
>>61104899>At minimum you will have to exchange words with cashiers and customers>go to McWagies>stand next to all the other Uber Eats and Doordash drivers as we stare blankly at the front counter until we see the wagie place a delivery bag with our corresponding name/number on it and silently grab it>drive or ride to the house/apartment that ordered the food>"Leave food at door and knock, do not wait for me to open the door"Very social job.>Women will be among them so more therapy to your autism. No woman will ever talk to an autist who does Uber Eats.>Just don't NEET out and waste your youth.I turn 26 next month, that already happened.>doing all that for a job that pays less than my disability pension and will leave me with nothing after the expenses of buying a bike or car to deliver in and upkeep/insurance (if I do it in a car)

>>61106587No problem. How did you build up that portfolio?
>>61106602NEETs with that kind of money nine times out of ten are gonna tell you that it came from a dead relative but I actually started with all of my own money I saved while working as a retail wagie. I never touched leverage trading and don't plan on ever doing so. I'm a burger so the work environment is different here but if you're just looking to stock shelves at the Aussie equivalent of K‐Mart I would just straight up lie on your resume so it doesn't look like you have the work experience equivalent of a sixteen year old while being in your mid twenties. Good luck OP.
>>61106679Thank you fren.
>>61105398You are beyond saving. You are stubborn AND dumb as hell.
