FTX crashed because people pulled out all at once.
Legal action came later.

Ironically it was CZ who started the FTX bank run.

>>61102549
Or FTX.
>>
Just to put things in perspective: not only did Binance cause the most massive liquidation waterfall EVER (more than 10x the Covid crash), but Binance also shut down all user activity so its users couldn't do anything but watch while other exchanges still functioned just fine.
Literally the only thing that still worked on Binance was the liquidations.
Binance even acknowledges all of this.

And their coin is fucking pumping.
Because supposedly people love it so much.

CZ is even dumber than SBF ever was.

It is customary to have a big exchange fail from embezzling user funds every few years. It's not exactly a timed thing, but I think >three years is long enough. Let's go then.

believe it or not, this is common. People hear DEX or CEX and think it means something. Just the newest scam in the markets, back in the day everyone had a "hedge fund" that was scamming shit, now they are just called exchanges.

The stock market these past few years has had more gains and less downside volatility than the entire altcoin market, and it's because they at least have the appearance of caring about fundamentals.
Meanwhile we have CZ yapping about "meme season" days before all the BNB memecoins flashed to 0.

That's damage control speak for "nearly all of them"
And there's also the fact that stop losses didn't work on Binance during all this.
Binance is also where all those coins dropped to zero.
And don't forget that Binance's depeggings are the primary reason for turning a normal dump into the single biggest liquidation event in crypto history.

Coinbase's stoppage wasn't nearly as widespread, it behaved the same way it always does during a crash. I pretty much haven't seen a single person reporting anything.

Defi kept working flawlessly by the way.

depends, are they to keep you from buying at low prices or to prevent liquidation of your users when the system detects manipulation

>>61103165
There's literally nothing on that chain except Binance-Peg tokens and now Aster, no way it usurps Ethereum which has actual used DeFi.

>>61104407
>bro, Coinbase literally suspended everything
>that didn't happen on Coinbase, because TRADING WAS SUSPENDED
No they didn't.
They had some delays but nothing like Binance.

Binance put out tweets saying their shit was fucked during the event itself, and after.
Binance is having to pay back hundreds of millions as a result.
Binance is where tons of alts literally went to 0.
Binance is where the cascade started and mostly happened because of shitty pricing systems.

If there was any call for them to do so after Oct 10, it would be all over the socials like Binance is rn.

If the attacker had waited a day or two it might not even have happened on Binance anymore. See pic, these changes weren't in effect yet.

Binance had a particularly vulnerable oracle, most major exchanges are much more sophisticated.
But the most secure are the ones used by Dexes, not Cexes.

Seems like the retard is you.
