After Deutsche Börse, S&P Global has decided to publish via Chainlinks new product, DataLink, an institutional product for easy publishing of offchain data on blockchains

>S&P Global Ratings (previously Standard & Poor's and informally known as S&P) is an American credit rating agency (CRA) and a division of S&P Global that publishes financial research and analysis on stocks, bonds, and commodities. S&P is considered the largest of the Big Three credit-rating agencies, which also include Moody's Ratings and Fitch Ratings

Chainlink Labs has another fantastic announcement while token holders languish at the bottom of pits full of pain and misery.
Many more to come...
>>
>>61112416
nah its all unfolding literally how we thought it would.

Financial world is embracing blockchains and guess who the chosen gatekeeper was to provide trusted data.

One by one, important financial data that everyone will rely on will be published by chainlink.

The next step will be those institutions acting as nodes, as that is literally how DataLink works, it just has not been mentioned yet.

At the end, we have that first mover advantage, institutional trust layer oracle that everyone uses.
>>
>>61112375
Are we at a point where we're announcing every oracle data point? How's this worthy of a tweet?
>>
>>61112459
they have to telegraph their moves beforehand, otherwise you would be able to say you could have never seen it coming
>>
>>61112459
>How's this worthy of a tweet?
this same exact tweet would make ADA pump at least 25% in a single day if it said Cardano instead of Chainlink

Anyone else feeling bleak and absolutely blackpilled?

How is link still sub top ten? How has it not at least hit its previous ATH? How is it still stuck out of the top ten?

Seems like we are in purgatory
>>
>>61112693
>Anyone else feeling bleak and absolutely blackpilled?
Yes, most of us baggies feel like that. I truly believe we will be vindicated in the end, but this seems far off.
>>
>>61112661
Sounds about right
>>
>>61112693
They don't want you to make it. They can hold out longer than you can.
>>
>>61112693
Everyone but those employed by the Company are feeling this way. For them, life is great!
Six figure salaries
Work from home
No stress
How can anyone still shill this coin for free these days? Did you all invest in crypto for the big returns? Chainlink has lagged BTC and even the SP500 the past few years. It's amazing, really, how terrible their performance has been - yet you have shills on here and Twitter triumphantly celebrating over meaningless integrations and pilot projects, while the price just goes lower and lower
>>
>>61112445
when you step back and think about it, it's so funny there's a raging incel cult surrounding a piece of backend technology that will help banks operate marginally more efficient

like i could understand the cults with apple, tesla, etc because everyone can use the products and they've changed people's daily lives

but seeing some dude worth a few thousands bucks get all excited for banks saving money while he receives nothing in return is so weird

i guess that's why they call them... THE Cuckolds of crypto
>>
>>61112459
>Are we at a point where we're announcing every oracle data point? How's this worthy of a tweet?

one could argue that most of the crypto space is one giant exercise in marketing

the key is to make it look like you are always delivering so even a tweet of zero substance is better than an empty void
this ensures donations from naive investors keep coming in to fund your lifestyle
then you'll want to have your influencers tweet out stuff like:

>duuuuuuuuude the team is COOKING, they just keep SHIPPING

and then you can also exaggerate everything
so if you go to a conference and talk to someone from a different company, that's an "integration"
or if you use a product from a company, you are now "partners"
for example if your company uses google workspace, you are partnered with google
>>
>>61113050
>if you use a product from a company, you are now "partners"
Which is quite funny because in this case SP global is LITERALLY using a product of chainlink called datalink.

Bro, dont you have some fish, squid or some octopus eat?
>>
>>61112693
>How is link still sub top ten?

do you really not know? i'll explain to you...

first lets start with the realization that 99% of coins (link included) have zero value accrual to the underlying business, if there even is one.

second, tokenomics aren't great as there's 7% released every year, and token buying pressure is not great enough to overcome this (see point 3). this second part of the sentence is important for people in denial to understand, and is why a comparison to solana for example doesn't hold water.

third, the link community is full of the nastiest, ugliest people in the space, hence have turned off millions of potential investors. this was done purposely in prior cycles due to arrogance, and has now come back to bite the cult. other communities, xrp or doge for example, are much more welcoming to a casual crypto investor and therefore attract more retail investment dollars

fourth, a few other coins in the top ten have first mover advantage on link. it is what it is...

fifth, exchange coins bnb and tron can be propped up and manipulated easier than link as the founders run their own exchanges.

6th, hyperliquid actually deserves to be where they are. incredible product and buybacks

there are some other reasons but this covers most of it.
>>
>>61112820
>They don't want you to make it

there is no unified "they"

the system is impartial

It was the annoying Link Twitter celebrities with their "Redacted" campaign.
>>
>>61117162
i really don't think that had much of an effect, CT is much higher iq and doesn't care about that kind of stuff, ethtards have often been just as arrogant, look at them with the switch to PoS and their delusion
but redditors and general public need things very simple or a charismatic (sociopathic) leader like charles
the great irony is that now redditors would love chainlink due to the names it works with and would easily pick up messaging like... "crypto was crazy and full of scams but the underlying tech of blockchain is wonderful and is being adapted by institutions we've heard of to make the world run better"

there have been tens of thousands of 100x+ plays in crypto, but no one holds onto their memory quite like a link boyscout

a few quick examples from past cycles being iota, vchain, egt, dash

it's amazing how they're able to block out the rest of the market and create their world of delusion
this was especially apparent in '21 when memes smoked them and they had to create a narrative that chainlink was le serious coin
subsequently, chainlink partnered with shiba

the hilarious part tho is they misattribute it as some fundamentals runup where they had some great vision, but the brutal truth is you just got in early on a liquidity injection to a pyramid scheme at the right time
back in the day, if you're in on the ground floor for any utility coin you can 100x

this misattribution has ironically been the cause of their downfall, as they now have 5 years straight of getting wrecked.
