NTA but I make around 75k and I started with the same company in 2016 making like 45k. So all these years of shit promotions and shit merit increases to end up getting paid effectively the same. I know you have to jump companies every 2 years to keep up with your salary, but I never wanted to look at the actual numbers and see how bad it was.

Not to mention, the corporation I work for has off-shored as many jobs as possible and has refused to hire anyone new for years now. So their payroll expenses have fallen considerably over the last decade. No wonder their stock is up 300% over the last 5 years.

I'm in the same boat as you. After a decade of soul crushing hard work, I've managed to go from 35k (straight out of school) to 90k. It's fucking worthless though. I cant even afford to be a debt slave with a mortgage on an average house

My forefathers would've rioted and stormed bureaucrat buildings over this, best I can do is whine about it on a Mongolian imageboard

Get your expenses as low as possible and then invest all the money you're saving into gold, BTC, or some other investment that you think will give you a good ROI

Its not that bad anon. Don't let people convince you wealth has anything to do with what you make. It's tied to what you save.

Hmm. Just a few more years and I don't have to work to make the same money, or I keep working and make more than double.
Hmm.
