Im getting kinda scared now
My coworkers house just got broken in while he was on vacation and the thiefs took everything from him cash jewelry game consoles
He wasnt a stacker but it got me thinking how do i protect my stack?
Im in Germany and we arent allowed to have gun heres and even if i had one it wouldnt help me when they brake in while im away
I can put it in a safe but the would still be able to open it with enough force and I have to rely on dumb luck for one of my neigbours to hear it and call the police
Is there anything i can do i dont wanna lose all my life savings to one bad day

put weight plates in the safe. Put your pms (aslong as you dont have a huge stack, if so disperse it on various locations like this) in a black trashbag and put it on the bottom of your trashcan. The more you spread it out to multiple spots (false cans with double bottom, hollow books, back of freezer (who steals a freezer) the less likely youll lose everything. Also in germany you can still buy a schreckschusspistole and reizgaspatronen to be prepared in the worst case scenario of a break in.

It’s only clear that there isint enough sellers willing to part with their silver at current paper prices. It’s not necessarily that there isint enough silver to meet demand, just that the price is wrong, hence lease rates spiking.

I've been stacking for around 10 years "just in case". It's really paying off now, but of course, I will not sell if not to swap for something else. My brother in Christ, this is the START of the biggest metals and mining bullrun in history. There will be turbulence but you have to stay on board the ship. My IRA is up 115% this year, I will only consider trimming miners when silver gets closer to $100. There will probably be a big correction and then it will keep going higher.

The threat to money in a bank account or stocks is far worse than the threat of some smash and grab junkie breaking in. First of all, shut the fuck up about your stack. Second, diversify your storage plans. Hide, distract, deceive, defend. Unless someone knows about your stack, the only kind of thieves you need to be concerned about are stupid and in a hurry. Not hard to defeat them if you give it some thought.

What are the odds that COMEX will be able to save the LBMA? The COMEX can only ship out max 3 million oz per day, based on the max capacity of their elevator. Will 150 million oz over 50 days be fast enough to save LBMA, or will it get drained to China as fast as they can get it?

>There are 173 million Troy Ounces of physical #Silver at the COMEX registered vault (Silver that’s issued a warrant ready for delivery).

>Robert Gottlieb, the ex-executive of JP Morgan Bullion Bank said that in order for the LBMA to have any sort of normality, it needs to import 150 million Troy Ounces of physical #Silver.

>That’s 88% of the entire COMEX registered vault physical #Silver.

>The LBMA needs to import 88% of the entire COMEX registered vault physical #Silver to resolve this crisis if they insist on capping the #Silver price below $60 USD.

There are alarm systems that will do that, and you can hook them up to your safe if you want. The problem is, cops put a very low priority on automated calls because they're usually due to faults in the alarm.

I had a firefighter break into my bedroom a few months ago because the alarm system at my condo complex randomly decided to tell them that my unit was on fire. He got to see me in my undies. I felt kinda sorry for him.

This >>61129569 , my main concern is that my mother will get pissed off at me and rewrite her will to leave it all to my worthless communist niece. The gold and silver are literally legally mine, the gold coins were gifts from family to me as a child and the silver was saved out of change by my father for me. But my mother thinks she's entitled to absolutely everything of mine, including family heirlooms that were left to me by my grandparents. I've seen her will and she specifically lists them in it as going to me even though they are already literally legally mine. It's as if she were listing my car in her will, or my computer -- "oh, that computer in his room goes to him when I die, never mind that he bought it with his own money before he moved back in to take care of me because I'm too old and decrepit to drive three blocks to Wal-Mart to pick up milk even though I drive there four days a week to get lunch already."

>It will coincide with the USD being rejected as the world's reserve and trade currency.
It's a process, not an event, and we are already well on the road of this process.

A few years ago, 95%+ international trade used the dollar. Today much less, and it is dropping every day.

Every reserve currency eventually dies.
>The US dollar accounts for 96% of trade invoicing in the Americas, 74% in the Asia-Pacific region, and 79% in the rest of the world. Over the period 1999–2019, the dollar was the world's most frequently used currency in global trade.

AI is losing a Niagra falls of money with no prospects of turning a profit anytime soon. AI is the dotcom bubble 2.0.

AI may eventually turn a profit, but only after the enormous investments to date get written off as bad debt, not unlike how much of the dark fiber and other infrastructure installed during the dotcom bubble was written off.

Nvidia will likely turn out to be the new Cisco. (which still hasn't recovered to her bubble peak)

The point of precious metals is to have zero counter party risk. A safe deposit box negates this. Further the time you most want your precious metals is in a financial crisis when banks are more likely to be insolvent so it's counter intuitive.

Bank and post office deposit boxes are the first to be taken by the government.

Once FDR signed Executive Order 6102, all deposit boxes across USA were raided and emptied of gold and silver. Owners were given $20.33 per ozt of gold seized, and gold was immediately revalued to $35/ozt

There are privately run vaults that are meant to store gold and silver. The government will need a warrant to raid those.

Nothing safer than burying it under your house though.

It's either get raped by VAT or premiums. 1 ounce gold coins are probably still the best generally, but if you lack the financial means to buy those there are other smaller coins (former currency like 20 mark, 20 franc etc.) that are more affordable, and don't carry such a heavy premium, because of the amounts they were struck in, often millions.

Goldbacks are much more esthetically pleasing. Until you've held on in your hand, you cannot appreciate the beauty of the gold in them.

I don't buy Goldbacks to spend. I buy them because they are beautiful.

I agree but look at it as follows, a 20 dollar gold piece used to be worth 20 dollars. Now through inflation "tax" It's 4k+.
To me this is a way higher threshold to buy than the 21%vat tax here in Europe.
Hence I buy mainly gold.

Back in 2022 we saw 10x price spikes in metals and literal bags of rocks showing up in Nickel warehouses. You can't even buy a paper cup without it having an identification code tying to where it was manufactured and where it was sold. How is it possible someone was passing off bags of rocks to commodity warehouses without a scandal blowing wide open? What mine was doing this? Was the metal stolen in transit?
No answers.
This is indicative of a scandal of international proportions. Auditors will physically go and inspect a businesses inventory to make sure they actually have the goods they claim to have. Typically when people set up money laundering businesses they try to spoof all of the statements including the inventory. So when you think you are investing in the American economy, just remember that the dysfunction of the credit system is sucking out all of the world's wealth and resources and leaving behind worthless paper IOUs. It looks like people are starting to panic and looking to take those IOUs and sell them for something real.
In the book "when money dies", people take their paychecks and walk in to department stores with bare shelves and would rather buy goods that have no use to them (such as a bachelor buying swaddling baby clothes) because his paycheck will be useless two weeks from now. You have to spend it today because there is no tomorrow.

Make sure you're not forced to sell any silver.
If you sell silver, add the VAT back to the sell price: that's the market price, that's the price anyone can get it and they cannot get it cheaper than that, so that's the price you sell it at too.
Who cares if it drops, just buy more cheaper, they can always print paper, silver is the valuable thing here, not the paper.
