I just don't know why anyone would buy a crypto coin other than Bitcoin. I mean what justification do you have, other than, "I saw someone on twitter/youtube say it'll go up, so I bought"?

Why buy eth? smart contracts and more or less as secure as bitcoin

Why buy memes? Brands and communities have value

Why buy defi? Passive APY if you know what you're doing

Why buy Utility/Governance coins? No reason to buy those. These companies should become public companies and use an existing L1 if they want to be a crypto company.
