>people trying to avoid the inevitable with precious metals
Let’s do a few scenarios here:
1. The economy collapses in your nation, you are still going to have nothing to swap your silver into that will let you eat
2. The economy collapses worldwide, you get a new CBDC to “fix” it and they make sure silver and gold transfers to the coin are low value
3. The economy stays inflated and manipulated forever, what will your inflated store of value be getting you? You protected no wealth and the pump is obviously going to rug because gold and silver are always fixed around the same amounts

Have fun and all but don’t think you’re going to win against the house at the casino

No sweetie, it’s a good thing when price consolidates before the next leg up. RSI needs a reset. And we don’t celebrate the price. We celebrate a critical resource entering price discovery now that Jews are getting short squeezed. Not to mention we are laughing at global shortages of critical metals and at chuds chasing and seething. It’s quite the show. Now if you wouldn’t mind posting your mother and sisters phone numbers so that we can exchange merc dimes for prolonged oral servicing sessions
>>
>>61163929
It’s one possibility, see I did the other possibilities too one of which is hyperinflation (fixed with CBDC). It’s not impossible that even a superpower could get fucked for months. European countries are even more vulnerable as the idiots made one country the bread basket & oil producer and the prices of essentials have been hyper inflated since

lots of people got in at the top and have their average sky high. the masses will keep using fiat currencies and assets which pms are one of will be priced against that, and that is how you become a bagholder. until these things can buy you food and shelter they don't have much beyond emotional value

Get rid of these illegitimate governments and install an economic system that isn’t rigged. Use your newfound prosperity to aggressively tariff countries refusing to adopt the new status quo until they bend the knee. Make sure those that got kicked out of 110 countries can’t just run away and start again after you’re dead.

Sounds tough, yes, but it’s an actual solution to what you’re trying to achieve here unless you just like gambling ofc. And I’m not fudding I’m legitimately excited to participate in the above and ready my kids to participate in the above

Check golds price history over the last 50 years, it regularly pulls back 60-70% after run ups like these. I don't think we're there yet because the stock market hasn't even crashed, but once it does and bottoms out gold will soon follow with a 61.8% correction at a minimum.

And I'm not really gonna try timing the peak, I'm just gonna keep buying with every paycheck I get because you never really know when the peak is, it could be that this is just a little correction, or this could be the 30% dip that's seen before every moon.
It seems crazy to buy at 50 if you don't know the fundamentals, but if you do you know that there's much more room. Better to buy when you can, if you're truly trying to time a dip you should still be buying regularly in case this isn't the dip - and just keep some cash in reserve to capitalize on any big price changes.

What’s going on with gold?
https://www.xtb.com/en/market-analysis/what-s-going-on-with-gold
>It is worth putting this move into context: the gold price has still not surpassed Monday’s low, and it remains $900 above the 50-day sma. The move lower in silver is more severe, the 5% drop is the largest intra daily move since April, as you can see below, however, the silver price has only fallen to levels reached last week.

>Why a shakeout is necessary before the next leg higher for gold

>A shake out in an asset market is the sign of healthy price action. It suggests that investors won’t get too far ahead of themselves, and there is a limit to upside exuberance. The reasons for holding gold and silver remain intact and include geopolitical fears, dollar debasement, the AI trade for silver, and concerns about inflation. Until several of these pillars start to crumble, we think that the downside for both gold and silver could be limited, even if this decline has been more severe than expected.

I want to stack some Reichsmarks, but the cheapest 5 marks I can find is a lot of 50 for $33USD per coin, or $83.5 per pure silver ounce.
This feels like overpaying since I don't mess with collectibles, would any other Mark enjoyers care to weigh in?

gold price is dropping because a bunch of boomers got told to cash out their ETF gold in the retirement accounts since its "all time high". this is temporary and will keep going, especially physical gold/silver.

Market cap means almost nothing in the real world. NVIDIA's market cap is 4.5 trillion.
Does it make sense for NVIDIA to be worth 1/5 of the USA's m2? Does it make sense for NVIDIA to be worth more than the entirety of silver in existence?
And price is dictated by supply and demand, a bunch of non-liquid gold sitting in vaults doesn't work the same way as a stock does. Supply and demand are set by who's selling and who's buying, not like a stock where it's constantly traded back and forth.

What is the point of these sorts of discussions? A hypothetical scenario where the entire world is so utterly obliterated that we're not even interacting anymore, but everyone is simply turned into killing machines all gunning each other down on sight?

Yeah, all investments are obviously worthless in that scenario, also literally everything you've ever done in your entire life is worthless and meaningless as well, because the pre-requisite for this scenario is that the entire planet is so catastrophically fucked that not even fragments of civilization remain, what's the point of discussing this as if it matters? People still haven't realized, and stacktards especially haven't realized because they aren't people, that gold and silver aren't even real. Silver? The "reputable coin dealer" takes aluminium wafers and polishes it until it's very shiny and impressive to the small antisemitic brains of stacktards. Gold is just alloys of bronze, brass, or electrum depending on which reputable "mint" the racist sexist antisemitic stacktard is buying from. Gold and silver aren't just "real money" as these stacktards will tell you, they simply aren't even real. Unlike REAL money, genuine Federal Reserve Notes, Bitcoin, Chainlink, Tether; these are the genuine currencies and real money of the future. Me personally, I'm stacking Argentine pesos - a genuine real money backed by U.S. Federal Reserve Note and approved by Donald J. Trump himself. Leave silver to the dumbass nazis in their incel basements unless you want to be a stacktard like them

But I’ve a family and full time job.

They are going to see a lot of physical leave the western system to do this. Could prove very expensive. But now it’s a battle of wills.

Crisis point coming

-Liquidity crisis. Fed began emergency liquidity injections this week under the radar outside of the repo market. Banks are wobbling.
-Silver. The hammering of prices can’t disguise the structural deficit. And the Chinese know this is a weak point. And intend to continue striking it.
-Gold. There’s a battle goin on here. It’s global. You have the paper market and unknown reserves in the western corner. And apparently huge reserves between Russia and China. And the nuclear weapon. Hundreds and hundreds of billions of treasuries that can be dumped to really pump gold. If they did that. These paper games in London and COMEX could not withstand such firepower.
-Trade war. Much of this is posturing prelude to the November trade negotiations with China. Which. If highly unsuccessful I believe will lead us into a shooting war (false flags to justify). And inevitably a nuclear exchange as the US realises it’s going to lose.

Much is at stake. Would I sell my physical right now? Not a fucking chance. Watch the demand outside of western trading time in PMs. Much will be revealed.

Got to be able to endure massive surges and plummets through this period. All depends how much faith you have in yourself

Maybe its because october is traditionally a weak month for gold?

Well, I think that is what a silver crash means, at least - 80% or even -90%, $8-$12 is possible. For $8, you might have to time the bottom, but $12 is probably a safe bet to go in. Threshold for each individual is different, I can't tell you what to do, and if I am wrong, it could be lower than $8 or maybe never went below $20. Who knows!

I made a profit 300%, I think it's pretty good against inflation. $1 in 1989 will be around $2.50 today.
300% profit is above inflation, and didn't accumulate silver in 1989, i did it in 2019.

Crypto is not based on nothing like fiat. Crypto is based on compute power. The more compute power they can squeeze into a nano chip, the more efficient crypto becomes, in the next 5 years, you could be auto mining with a smart phone, smart watch or smart glass. Suddenly not very fun for NVDIA, right now the GPU, because less dependent on GPU for proof of work. That is assuming compute power continues to rocket as it had since 2011. the graph for compute power is currently a vertical straight line upwards.

puts into perspective how much of that shitskins life has been pissed away for less than pennies to accomplish nothing

also you know the funniest thing is most of the threads about gold and silver in the catalog weren't even from stackers but from fomo newfags or leverage tards too stupid to read a pmg thread for info and decided to make one asking the rest of biz for info about something most bizraelis never bothered learning about.
the entire board was fine with pmg when the prices were crabbing upward and all their cryptos were swinging up or down, wasnt until shit started going down for an extended period while metals went up did bizraelis start showing up to fud cause they were miserable about their investments

Thats it, this one dip today surely made me doubt everything, sold all pm's now and starting to stack fiat again. Surely this isnt just a one day shakeout event influenced by market manipulation because of a global supply shock. It's just pm's losing their value.

I guess I should explain why I think the US is in fundamental decline, and why it'll pump my rocks up as it does down:
Ever since the federal reserve became the highest branch of government, the lower branch (executive), and the natural tendencies of capitalism, led to the replacement of industry with higher profit (rent) yielding businesses. We could do this because the soviet union was in irreversible decline, making us the most dominant political entity in human history. The thirdies under our rule, with the establishment of our dollar, could be relied upon to send the industrial goods needed to prop our higher-order businesses. However, it turns out that people don't getting looted by a country on the other side of the globe. A combination of hubris and the utter ecstasy of infinite profit blinded them to this, and now, China and the BRICSians continue to grow and unite to expel the ((dollar)), without us having taken any precautions (midwest is still a ghost town, 90% of gdp growth coming from a bubble). Remember that the US's high-order businesses cannot exist without a steady stream of base goods from third world industries, and how the internet/banking companies have their own branch of government, and would not like returning to the middling profits of real production. The remnants of American industry tried to take back the reigns (Koch backing Trump), but were handily beat back. Unless you think the US will be able to tard-wrangle itself into matching half of China's output in the next 5 years, then the international economic order, built upon the dollar, will fall. And yes, public credit for most of history has only been limited by capital, however, intrastatial trade was largely conducted in hard money. This is why my rocks will moon in the period between the inflection point of the USD, and the establishment of a new global payment system.
