What the fuck is Bezos’ problem?
>>
>>61170697
BASED. More people to kill themselves with me I will not die alone
>>
>>61170697
>we want a 30 dollar minimum wage
>why is nobody hiring?

Its a circular pattern.
>>
>>61170706
kek lmfaoo
>>
>>61170715
the whole economy is a bubble:
>women have jobs but actually do nothing during their time but wasting the time of other employees
>AI is wasting resources and we haven't done anything useful using AI
>dept
>no jobs
>trump
>>
>>61170697
He's trying to pump my heavy bags
Thanks bro
>>
1.1m employees in the US so basically half
>>
>>61170697
Kek I really do feel bad for the people with young children now. They are going to be completely priced out of ever owning a home or land, and they are going to have zero job prospects in 20 years. You think we live in clown hell now. Kids being born today are going to be total slaves to (((technocrats)))
>>
Death by starvation has more dignity than 50 years in the wage cage
>>
>>61170798
It is your responsibility to have as many pieces of property as you have kids to ensure they have some tangible asset to hold onto
>>
>>61170715
30/hr = 60k/yr before taxes = barely enough to live alone in a 1 bedroom apartment paycheck to paycheck
>>
>>61170715
The fucking audacity of the working class, expecting their salaries to rise on par with inflation
>>
>UBI back on the menu
>>
>>61170697
Should've learned to, uh
>>
>>61171098
Lower their standard of living to Brazilian-slum levels
>>
>>61171090
ICE weapon spending has gone up 700%. They're in the middle of stockpiling small arms, military vehicles and even missles now. They aren't doing UBI.
>>
>>61170760
this
theyre just trying to pump their stock after the AWS fiasco
this story is highly likely a hoax
>>
>>61170697
do you think people actually enjoy being amazon warehouse workers? it's fucking hell on earth. let robots do it.
>>
>>61171169
You think they’d work there if they could find something better? Let’s throw them into poverty instead, retard
>>
>>61171169
I worked there for 18~ months during covid and it was incredibly demoralising. It would be fine if they let you get on with the job and work at a comfortable pace but you're held to a retarded amount of standards that just drive you insane. People either quit immediately or stay for years and think it's all they're good for. I'm 100% for automating all these shitty menial jobs and introducing UBI for the people it puts out of work
>>
>>61170740
>AI is wasting resources and we haven't done anything useful using AI
we or you? people in the workforce have been using it to a great extent.
>>
>>61171090
UBI is never gonna happen

Maybe in a 100 years
>>
>>61170891
yes but the work they do is not worth 30 USD a hour. These workers basically don't need to exist.
>>
>>61171169
I worked in a GB big item shed for 6 months temp due to unfortunate circumstances like being totally fucked, and I'd say 25% of them are clones who love it. Even some of the fucking temps told me that they'd work there 'part-time' if they won the lottery. There are some truly dead souls among us.

I was fucked after 6 months and got out before I ended up actually dead. A kid lost half his foot 30 yards away from me, didn't even hear it as the noise was so bad in there. Clowns with two days reach training dropping pallets from 60 feet, fuck off.
>>
>>61170715
Wow, we need more people like you who bravely fight for the rights of employers! Those damn workers are always so greedy and lazy.
>>
>>61170697
It's called capitalism.
>>
>>61172611
>A kid lost half his foot 30 yards away from me
He'll at least get some compo right?
>>
>>61172667
He got hit with the forks of a motor pallet truck, so maybe. That should never hit anybody, even if he was in the wrong place.
>>
>>61170697
I've been constantly telling people in my (northern Euro) country that we don't need a gorillion immigrants to do menial jobs. This is our future. Every low skilled 3rd worlder we import will be 10 dependents extra we have to pay UBI for in 20 years.
>>
>>61170706
bruh never do that
>>
>>61170697
It's not the economy that is fucked goy, it's that AI is so powerful.
Now stay home and buy our bags.
>>
>>61171169
>I'm too good for this job
>therefore it shouldn't exist and anybody who wants it should die
>I am pro worker
>>
>>61170697
I imagine at least 60% of the jobs are going away in the next 10-15 years, this is different than other industrial advances it's not going to create more jobs, it's not going to be a utopia where people have opportunities to transcend work and find a higher purpose this is going to be a rough ride.
>>
>>61172603
You’re essentially saying “the work they do isn’t worth them being able to live”. Someone working 40 hours a week not being able to afford living alone in a one bedroom apartment isn’t sustainable.
>>
>>61170697
Bezos needs another billy. So what?
>>
>>61170715
Amazon supports minimum wage increases though. It fucks with competing warehouses more than it fucks with Amazon.
>>
>>61170697
Salaries, obviously

I was injured by a robot for whom I was training to replace me and several thousand employees at my former place pf employment. It will take two years of legal back and fourth. Then I should receive a large settlement. Always stays positive.
>>
>>61170697
Automation is good though.

Why are you luddites so economically illiterate?
>>
>>61170917
Why don't we just get rid of inflation then you fucking retard?
>>61171090
Why would UBI be needed if automation forces prices down?
>>
>>61170697
The fact that even on /biz/ left wing luddite narratives and fearmongering are the majority opinion shows how fucked we are.
>>
>>61170697
>Amazon to replace jobs with automation
Yeah! Get ready for that. I’ve said this here a million times but I never get any replies or interest. Build a “One Stop Shop” where you sell real estate, insurance, fingerprint “Livescan” rolling, prepare taxes, and apartment/job seeking agency. (If shit hits the fan you can love in your office.)

I manage a 65+ over apartment building through a company that allows me to run all of the businesses above from my office—adjacent apartment that I get for free. You can learn all of these skills online for free and then pay the bullshit money so you can have the paper to get your state licenses.

They make “suit pajamas” that look decent enough, which I wear every day and make about 60k/year w/o even trying. Been doing this for 16 years and AI isn’t going to walk the boomers through their townhomes or help them fuck the money around so they fall into a lower tax bracket. Shit…notary public work alone when husband #3 starts getting dementia and the old plastic bitch wants to sign everything over to her kids is an enterprise of its own. GET INTO THIS NOW! Or you could kill yourself doing the whole Mike Rowe thing.
>>
>>61170715
>We want a higher minimum wage!
>Are you kidding? You’ll ruin the economy!
*wages stagnate -even decrease- for decades*
>Hey guys! You’re fired to save me even more money!

Stop making excuses for juice
>>
usps won
>>
>>61176597
Minimum wage should be abolished
So should inflation.
I don't know why you leftist retards support inflation?
>>
>>61177019
>minimum wage should be abolished
Catastrophic. You wouldn’t believe how many people would be perfectly fine working for juuuust enough so they can eat and then sleep in a library. Minimum wage creates problems of its own, but abolishing it would be like a nuclear warhead dropped on the economy.
>>
>>61177148
>but abolishing it would be like a nuclear warhead dropped on the economy.
Unemployment would go down.
More jobs for the lower skilled.
Why would you be against this?
>>
>>61170697
Bezos lurks biz and is the OP behind every wagie hate thread
>>
>>61171169
True. It's better to stay at home and complain about shit for the next 10, 20, 30, years.
>>61171090
Back on the fantasy menu.
>>
>>61170715
Oh they are hiring. They just hired indians and spics which will get the same wage but work more hours lowering the pay rate due to desperation.

Are you guys actually this retarded or do you just like licking boot?

Real shit
>If im going down im taking you with me
>>
>>61176455
Its partial raid, partial (You) farming. Any sincere leftist (lol) posters were never around before the election cycle
>>
>>61181537
>less government interference is bootlicking
I'd say I'm surprised but my countrymen of similar poor academic performance have just about everything else backwards as well so who knows
