I dont think that dom or coterie really know how to properly "sell" (and i say this as a metaphor) ICP. The tech is amazing, and I think the hope is that with caffeine regular internet users will start to see how powerful it is. I do think theres alot of Fad chasing. Look at the SNS, a pet project of an employee which to users and casuals was some giant earth shattering thing, but what is really is is a multi sig software suite / investment vehicle created by a team and launched. the problem is that Daos were really cool in 2017-2020... now they are passe with users.Similar to caffeine, where it would have been revolutionary 2 years ago but now there are other much faster and better AI products available. But Dom really believes in ICP and I think has extreme will and perserverance. the amount of shit he gets personally is insane and I think would break the average person.

The ICP's themselves, the coins or tokens or whatever, enable voting for users on digital things 'n stuff and can be voted on like to reward or punish a user. all the stuff online is very vague and speaks too highly of its own ability with citing examples or speaking of a general operation with this thing. it reads like a "this is a new thing to get excited about guys!" without providing any substance, to try and provoke excitement from others or laypeople who don't really understand what it is or does, like me. what does ICP do that other digital currency doesn't?
