They are kind of neat to have a few. But make no mistake about it, the premium on them is double the price of gold. I bought a few just yesterday to get me over the $200 no S&H threshold. At a few bucks a pop it doesn't seem so bad. But once you scale it up, if you buy goldbacks to have an ounce of gold you will spend almost double. So $8000/ounce is just awful.

tbf, the merc dime thing is a fun meme and all, but if it gets that bad, you'll have to worry about much, much more complicated things than getting a blowjob for a coin in that enviroment.
As someone holding pms, you will have to be on guard 24/7 if you want to go around plebs looking for blowjobs.
the way I see it, you better hold on tight for a few years until things get better and then you can swap them for something. Going full pm gangsta during a heavy depression scenario will get you killed in a flash unless you can hire your own personal mini-army.
also, to all of the anons posting their stacks: arent't you paranoid? 4chan after all is anything but anonymous. Admins can see your real ip unless you go through the pain of setting up your own vps.

This is the factor that will drive the GSR down. When people cannot afford meaningful amounts of gold, they will switch to silver which drive the GSR to 30:1 or lower. We've seen this in every metals bull run. First gold, then silver which overshoots gold in percent increase.

Not worried at all, this is the only time this has ever happened, refineries were perfectly fine taking 90% at the previous ATHs.

Yes. And sometimes, people have to be kicked out for the good of the community. They can go start another one with their adherents.

Generally speaking, so long as necessary infrastructure is working and peoples essential needs are being satisfied, troubles should be minimal, but one must watch out for the extremely disagreeable types who can never be satisfied, and thrive on causing friction. I'm sure we have all had to deal with such types before.

There isn't one. Some twitter rumors and a LinkedIn crypto bro blog are the source of the reports. Everyone should look into the actual danger quantum computing could pose to Bitcoin. Only about 25% of the Bitcoins in the world are currently vulnerable, and these could easily be made resistant if their owners would give a shit. Stack gold and silver, of course, because Bitcoin and other crypto being dependent on the grid, telecommunications infrastructure, government whims, etc., presents other more realistic vulnerabilities. But if nothing was ever done to harden Bitcoin against quantum cryptographic attacks (and there are lots of things being done/going to be done), it would still be safe as long as people trading or using it raw modified their behaviors slightly. Platforms like Kraken/Coinbase/Binance could automate this easily. Government actions or a series of repeated telecommunications disruptions are far more likely to destroy Bitcoin before quantum computing does.

>China is flexing left and right rn, they don't fear the kikes/zog system anymore.
Until this year, China had made a deal with the bullion banks to buy silver through the backdoor, ie direct from the mines, (ie doré bars, concentrate) and from refiners to avoid going through COMEX/LBMA and bumping the price. That has now been dropped, and Chinese buyers are buying directly from the markets, putting the bars on insured shipping containers, and sending them to China.

This is true, but 50,000 servers use about 1,600 oz of silver. That number doesn't include the silver in all the networking equipment and of course some enormous, global-sized AI clusters could use a million servers, but if AI and crypto and QC all flop silver will be fine. If they all take off silver will do a little better. The demand is nice but not essential.

This is already happening on the retail side and just isn't priced in, the LCS said that almost NO large gold sold at the last show he was at, much of it was below spot even and it wasn't selling.
The fractionals still sold, though. It only takes a little bit more for fractionals to start being too expensive too. My guess is when 1/10th of an ounce is 500 we'll see a big drop off in fractional gold buying, and by 800 nobody will touch the stuff.

Northeast USA here, small town, LCS doesn't even ship to refineries and that hasn't effected the price one bit - he sells all of his stock at coin shows or at the store, and only when he gets way too much of it does he call a guy who checks out the refineries.
It's still some of the best-performing silver even if they act like it isn't.

Not in the slightest. It doesn't say anything about silver, but everything about our (((economy))).
They aren't taking it because we deindustrialized to the point we can't handle any little spike in demand. Over 80% of smelters closed/moved to China since the 90s.
If US refineries had the capacity to slurp & refine 90%/sterling, they would. But they can't because we are nothing but an empty shell selling fairy dust and digital IOUs.

>90% is super easy to refine.
Absolutely true - however, it still requires refining which is why right now when the refiners are just melting .999+ and pouring COMEX bars to meet demand they're holding off on actually refining anything. 90% and sterling take about 5x to 6x as long as .999+ bullion to make a COMEX or London bar. As soon as they run low on .999+ to pour they'll go back to actually refining silver. Demand literally crushed the supply chain.

>If COMEX and the LME adopted the same high margin requirements as the SME has
My understanding is the SGE (Shanghai Gold Exchange) is a pure physical OTC market. Ie, in order to sell a bar, the seller has to deposit the silver/gold bars beforehand. Everything is real physical, there are no paper ounces. LBMA is nominally an OTC market, but allows unallocated paper silver to be sold back and forth, which the bullion banks do by the millions of ounces every day.

The whole point of the LBMA and the COMEX was to flood the market with paper silver, creating high volatility, with the express purpose of discouraging institutional investors. Industry could take delivery, but silver as a commodity was uninvestable because of the huge price swings.

English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Georges, and Louises, doubloons and double guineas and moidores and sequins, the pictures of all the kings of Europe for the last hundred years, strange Oriental pieces stamped with what looked like wisps of string or bits of spider's web, round pieces and square pieces, and pieces bored through the middle, as if to wear them round your neck--nearly every variety of money in the world must, I think, have found a place in that collection; and for number, I am sure they were like autumn leaves, so that my back ached with stooping and my fingers with sorting them out." - Jim Hawkins, Treasure Island

It's because there is still too much of it out there in the wild. Big players don't want silver to get any attention until they concentrate/consolidate their positions to the levels of others assets they own (ie. 90+%). Rn it get pumped just enough to vacuum all what's left in boomers' hands. But once the consolidation is done, they will pump it like crazy.

don't know if the image captures it, a liberian 1/10th oz gold coin, which i kind of love, because on one side it has a coat of arms, every article of technology on there (ship, written scroll, plough) being invented by the western man, but it also includes a palm tree, because those tribesmen still can't figure out how to use the plough depicted on their coin and they still rely heavily on the palm for food.

Why would you do this? This couldn't even be considered an exit plan at all, burning 80% of your liquidity to pay off a debt that would be massively reduced by inflation if silver ever went to 350.
Financially it makes literally 0 sense. Maybe if it took 10-20% of your stack.

More likely it will stabilize around $150-200. That's already a fucking x10 from 2019, i think that's optimistic enough for a commodity; when we have the barrel of brent - most traded commodity by far - locked at 2005s prices rn lol. Lets not be too greedy and be happy with how things are going.

But if you pay in $300 of legal currency and say you paid $300 you're g2g.

The whole point is not getting taxed and doing so legally. The IRS can't tax you extra if you paid $300 in cash just because they think the cash is worth more than $300. As long as it's legal tender it's legal tender. Now you understand why boring, overpriced eagles are so goddamned popular.

Problem is retail have literally zero impact on the price, they (and we) simply are following (((market makers))) like sheeps, and they are deciding how much it should be at any given minute. A commodity can't "naturally" drop 10% in few hours on zero news just like it did, all while demand is through the roof. It's 100% artificial.

You probably already know this, but that's why we stack physical only here, to take away from them the ability to manipulate the prices with futures as they wish. And the dam is already breaking, that's why futures and spot are decoupling.

This is a separate case though, houses sell for 1,000 dollars all the time. There's no "house police" making sure you sell your house at market value.
You could literally sell your house for 1 dollar to your aunt / uncle / cousin / his boyfriend, although he'd have to pay the tax based on the town's estimate. You can also sell said house / land to family friends like this, although a safer number to claim is something like 10,000 dollars plenty of houses are "sold" for 1 dollar.

>A coin, like a musical instrument, produces a characteristic sound. Like a musical instrument this sound depends on its shape and on the material it's made out of. >I understand that we dont affect the price, but how do you personally intend on cashing out?
Bigger bars (10oz/kilo/100oz) go back to the LCS, preferably for changing to gold when the ratio drops.

Smaller pieces like 1 oz rounds and coins can be used for direct trade.

Personally I think the tribulation will end in 2033, at which point Christ will return to usher in the 1000 year golden reign. It's generally agreed the tribulation lasts 3.5 years, but some say it's 7 years in total, with 3.5 particularly bad years. Assuming Christ's return in 2033, we're entering the tribulation in 2026. I would recommend continuing to stack so the second half of the tribulation isn't so bad.

If you can't tell the difference between brass, steel and silver by ear, get the app.

I find that pure silver has a very distinctive ring that I can recognize instantly. 90% has a slightly different ring.

It's very simple
>I want to pay in legal currency of 300 dollars
>I pay in 300 dollars of quarters
>I mix in some silver (the thing we're actually trading) and use normal quarters to mask it
>Tee-hee, they were silver?
VS
>BRO I JUST GOT THESE 1 OUNCE SILVER COINS HELL YEAH THEY'RE ONE DOLLAR LEGALLY
Which one of these is more likely to succeed?
And then vs
>I can legally sell a house for 1 dollar to someone
>I just paid them a dollar and then gave them 300,000 in silver in a suitcase, they claimed I was a family friend, now I just have to pay the taxes on the house

Like it's a literally untraceable asset and it's LEGAL to sell a house for 1 dollar if you can think of some bullshit excuse. You still have to pay the tax, as the difference counts legally as a "gift", but you would in your example anyway.

yup. i had read similar dates and time frames. i'm keeping an eye out for jewish prophecies, because that will signal they believe the dates and will force things and false flag it if they need to.

3 years ago i got the gut feeling that told me to start stacking. it was so clear to me that it might as well have been a commandment.

Nah, you're right. I'm sure everything's going to be fine. I'm sure the $20T megacorporation known as The Catholic Church have no reason to orchestrate a global biblical prophecy-fulfillment to bolster dwindling numbers.

2000 years of a blatant jewish psyop, and at every minute over 20 centuries thousands and at times millions of people have been like "IT'S HABBENING I SEE THE SIGNS!!!" Your entire jewish nothingburger is just a death cult perpetuated by an inability to achieve actual "justice" or experience "reward" in a universe that just exists. You're no different than primitive peoples worshipping mud god. The Babylonians started it, the jews adopted it, then the jews adapted it with Roman influences to control goyim. It's the most annoying waste of time shit ever invented by people. When 2033 turns into 2034, I want you to remember this comment instead of picking a new arbitrary round number to waste your mental energy on.

I fully believe gold and silver will be priced out to small time private buyers, and then soon after only be available to manufacturers, banks, and nations. When normies want in, they can't get it.

Kinda worried about pic related happening to me over my stack, but nobody knows about my wealth except for /pmg/. I'm also hasguns

I see your point and don't have a rebuttal.
This tax shit is purposely convoluted and I hope everything goes to shit so I don't have to worry about it.

Still gonna stack silver. It will reach $1000/ozt
