> So yes, lets tax the "winners" because we should have a voice in how we shape society.

Why should a brokie loser have a say in what the rich do?
Why should a brokie loser have a say in how to shape society?
>>
>>61186747
do you really think someone deserves to be an aristocrat in perpetuity because they happened to buy shares in a company a long time ago? what skills and insight do they really have
>>
>>61186783
He has wealth.
Wow.
I didn’t know /biz/ has so many brokie losers.
>>
>>61186783
Easy for you to say when you’re not an aristocrat
Lol.
This is why the rich hate the poor and put you guys through humiliation rituals.
>>
>>61186783
They took risk and it paid off. This is how capitalism works, the ones with capital to invest and who take on the most risk with their capital are the ones who get richer.
Besides, when they die or spend that money it comes back to the state and economy. If they have massive wealth and trust funds it might take multiple generations to come back but it does eventually. The state invested in you, you allocated your capital and grew your wealth much more efficiently than the state could, and eventually the state got its ROI. This is why those who want to "tax the rich" more are just blinded by instant gratification and don't understand how much potential wealth they're leaving on the table. Even if that rich guy squanders his wealth and goes bankrupt where do you think that money went? Back into the economy, and back to the state eventually.
>>
>>61186783
Also, they funded someone else with skills and insight in many cases, someone who had the ideas and skillset but not the capital.
>>
>>61186747
>let's tax the rich
>creates income tax
>politicians tax the middle class with it
useful idiot, where does he think all his taxes came from?
>>
>>61186825
It doesn’t go back to the state. Maybe “eventually” slowly a bit but the person’s wealth grows too.
Poor people just see rich people with a lot and think
>they have too much
This is why the rich puts them through humiliation rituals because of their shitty attitude. I do the same irl to people now.
>>
>>61186825
>They took risk and it paid off. This is how capitalism works, the ones with capital to invest and who take on the most risk with their capital are the ones who get richer

Kek. Babbies first economics class.

Meanwhile in the real world...
>>
True yeah we should just make it so only billionaires get a vote. Everyone else lost and needs to do whatever billionaires say to make the economy work best. Life is a gift billionaires gave them, nobody else.
>>
>>61186825
The state didn’t know invest in me. lmfao. I invested into the country.
Countries want to attract wealthy people because the bring capital and investments.
>>
>>61186859
Everyone and their parents and their grandparents had 100 years to get rich. What we have now after 100 years are winners and losers.
>>
>>61186747
Just killbthe rich and take their wealth for yourself. Why should weak people hold wealth and tell strong people what to do?
>>
>>61186875
Exactly, you had 100 years to prove your a winner in capitalism and make a billion dollars. Any non-billionaires now need to shut the fuck up and do whatever billionaires say because that will maximize our economic output
>>
>>61186825
Countries grow strong with rich people show up. The state is too big and black hole. The last thing we need is a bigger government.
>>
>>61186871
>i have only ever used private services and infrastructure
i doubt that
>>
>>61186901
I pay into it. Tax dollars are wasted also. In the west, every thing is over budget and delayed. Also,10% pay 50% of the taxes.
>>
>>61186898
We already live like that.
I got mine. Have never needed to work for 3 decades.
>>
>>61186898
The billionaires we hear about frequently really did earn the money though. I don’t get where the envy comes from.
>>
>>61186847
Not just the state, but the state does get most of it. Look up how much the highest tax bracket pays in taxes, or how much estate taxes are. This compounds with every transaction until all the wealth is spent.
>>61186855
They might be pedophiles but huge chunks of their wealth are still cut. I'm not saying any country does it perfectly either, the US has too much corruption and loopholes to do it perfectly. But "tax the rich" people still miss the point.
>>61186871
That's true, and that's how you get tax havens. But you can also attract wealthy individuals by giving them many opportunities to grow their wealth or their legacy.
>The state didn’t know invest in me
You used its resources at some point anon.
>>61186899
I'm not advocating for bigger government, that's why I specifically said the rich should be left to their own devices, at least in a perfect system.
>>
>>61186912
>I pay into it.
>10% pay 50% of the taxes.
lol nobody here is in the top 10%, anyone who has actually made it already left
>>
>>61186920
>>61186926
What the fuck are you rambling about, these people won capitalism in the time they had allowed, they are winners and should be given whatever they want to make decisions for everyone else since they are the most capable.
>>
>>61186934
Sure.
>>61186928
There is a anon with 15M in another thread. lmfao.
Top 10% is nothing. lol. It is just a person living in the city in an urban area but away from poors.
>>
>>61186747
Because they cook your food, pave your roads and do all the things that make your life possible you ungrateful psychopath
>>
>>61186928
Is it that hard? I'm sure there are anons with more nw than $2m.
>>
>>61186946
They are paid for it you fucking loser
tf wrong with you. fuck you. the next wagie getting it.
>>
>>61186944
Sure? Fucking fake fan over here, these people won and should be making the rules. This matters.
>>
>>61186825
the problem is average IQ went up for decades but older people have more money because they're older so wealth is not a reliable metric
>>
>>61186946
> Because they cook your food
The owners pay them for it. I paid for my food + overhead. Are you trolling me?
>>61186928
> lol nobody here is in the top 10%, anyone who has actually made it already left
The top 10% is everyone above middle upper class lol.
>>
>>61186944
>being this gullible
lol
you will never be rich btw
>>
>>61186969
You’re just poor or trolling or you’re that dumb eurocuck.
>>61186982
15m.
Everyone born into upper middle class and above has 15M now after 20 years.
>>
>>61186747
>Why should a brokie loser have a say in how to shape society?
because slave rebellions are just about the most brutal thing imaginable
>>
>>61186982
Being this poor.
15m really isnt anything. I live in a big city in an urban area. So someone with 15m is just someone in a big city.
>>
>>61186988
>>61186994
>nu-uh i have 15 million dollars i swear!
nope
>>
>>61186988
I’m dead fucking serious, you’re just actually fading this for some reason, fake fan like I said. Obviously giving the richest people full control over the economy would produce the best return. If you’re not one of the nations thousand or so billionaires you should have to do whatever they say.
>>
>>61186991
They ain’t gonna rebel, they will own nothing and be happy.
>>
>>61187004
Okay. You act like the rich already down control everything.
>>61187003
Where do you live if you dont mind me asking.
If someone says they are rich, I just imagine that person in a big city from a well of family. What is the big deal?
Attitude like yours is why the rich shit on poors.

I made 40k (unrealized) profits this year and some fag was like "YOUR CAPITAL GAINS SHOULD BE TAXED REEE"
>objectively middle class
>should get taxed because, uh, capital gains!
There should be zero taxes on crypto profits and zero taxes under 100k capital gains. It is beyond retarded that the system is designed to sucker people into holding bleeding 401k bags for 40 years while letting faggots like drumptf buy and sellf whatever he wants.
>>
>>61187015
Do you really just believe everyone on 4chan who says that they're worth 8 figures?
>>
>>61187015
>you act like the rich down already control everything
They don’t, that’s why the economy isn’t working as well. Bunch of multi millionaires that won the lottery or inherited money need to be pruned and shown their place in front of the titans of economy.
>>
>>61186825
>be rich boomer
>die
>kid inherits house
>has fuck all to his name except for said inheritance because younger people are disallowed upwards mobility
>sells property to financial institution in order to pay debts or mobilize upwards in any meaningful way
>institution rents property indefinitely because rootless finance does not have children or heirs
>repeat for majority of individually owned properties in the country

that shit is NEVER trickling down and it's by design. you are not dealing with people, you are dealing with rootless cosmopolitanism.
>>
>>61187024
Yeah. I live in a big city.
>>
>>61187016
They will be happy. You don’t understand that.
>>61187032
How rich is the boomer..?
Of course the kid gets everything. The kid was probably a winner by 30 and parents helped buy his/her first home.
>>
>>61187039
Why do you think that they're telling the truth? That's a very small percentage of the population that doesn't even have a reason to be on /biz/.
>>
>>61187050
Idk what to say to you. Someone help me out.
What schools did you go to? Just think of your classmates. Like you are on 4chan, why cant your friends and class mates be on 4chan?
>>
>>61187057
What's more likely, someone having 15 million dollars or someone making up shit on 4chan for fun?
>>
>>61187050
I live in a big city. That explains everything.
>>
>>61186976
Wealth is not a reliable metric for what? It's the only metric, if anything.
>>61187032
What does that kid do with his newfound wealth? And the rental company will eventually sell that property. Eventually.
>>
>>61187065
You keep repeating over and over again. I understand that you are aware of the existence of rich people. That does not change that you shouldn't just believe whatever you read on 4chan.
>>
>>61187064
I live in a big city.
Due to limited housing, as in limited mansions, even people with 15m have to move into “monster home” neighborhoods which leads to gentrification.
>>
>>61187076
What percentage of the population do you believe has 15 million dollars?
>>
>>61187072
I don’t disbelieve for the sake of it. Bro, I live in an urban area in a prime location. (4chan knows this) They have my ip.
Like bro, do you know how much wealth is concentrated into two cities in my country. 15m? I went to a top school. At least 30% of the students there are in familyies worth over 15m now.

>>
>>61187091
You don’t get it. The poors will want the free stuff, but they wont own it and they will be happy they dont need to pay for it.

I have 50 million dollars.

>>61187165
Like in another thread I would believe you.
I live in a big city.
I live 10 minute drive from Drakes mansion. I dont have friends with that wealth atm. But in school, and now 20 years later, sure. And my parents friends lived in the Drake the rapper area.
>>
>>61187165
It really depends on how you grew up and which people you have met.
If you grew up well off, you will always meet and know people more well off than you.
>>
>>61187191
>>61187202
Why are you so gullible?
>>
>>61187165
From my own experience, kids know if they are rich or not by time they are 15-18.
>>
>>61187210
Why?
Bro, my parents when they were kids, knew very very wealthy people. So after 1-2 generations, these people are even wealthier. I was like 12 when I met my dads friends who was ultra wealthy.
I went to a balling high school and live in one of the best areas.

Capitalism and Marxism are indistinguishable insofar as the kind of society as they eventually produce, which is tyranny of a stunted class of bitter midwit gremlins, accumulating wealth and using said wealth to form alliances with lumpenproles and other horrifying mudcreatures, unproductive and antisocial elements - employing them as mercenaries to beat down on the actual productive and useful elements of society.

Every Capitalist is a spiritual Marxist, and the bourgeoisie are essentially upjumped peasants, human livestock who retain all of the same vulgar tastes and aesthetic interests, the same maldeveloped spirit and motivations as their cowshitherder serf ancestors.

The solution is not to tax the rich or to liquidate them, but to physically enslave and castrate every sub 6ft, sub 130IQ male and force them to work as slaves and menial labourers regardless of class or race.

>>61186807
Aristocracy is not defined by money but by blood, genetic, and spiritual superiority. No matter how well you dress yourself, your blood is the blood of malnourished serfs. You are essentially a peasant in drag.

Most modern rich people are not rich thanks to their great contributions to society. They are rich because they are exploiting broken systems or straight up breaking laws.
A society run by people who have the mindset of "its other people's fault for being taken advantage of!" will inevitably start to become worse in every conceivable metric.
>>

What really irks me about this discussion is that there's an implication that the rich are somehow taking away from those that aren't, as though wealth creation and intellectual properties didn't exist. The entire 1% protesters in Wall Street had the exact same mentality where they just assume that if rich people exist, that they are taking wealth away from others, when that is not the case. I'm not even arguing for or against what OP is talking about, but there is a common misconception about the entire discussion which makes it nearly impossible to argue with people with. Literally, if wealth is being created, then everyone wins. And I'm not even referring to trickle-down economics either, it is a proven fact that if you reside in a country with a lot of wealthy people, the country itself tends to benefit greatly from their presence, instead of trying to take those benefits away from the wealthy, there should be a way to enable them even further.

Broke people do not create jobs, they do not hire people, they do not pay taxes, and they will die contributing nothing to society. The US government spends at least a trillion dollars per year for brokie programs and most of those brokies are just relying on the system and not making anything out of themselves.
>>
>>61186747
listen, poor people don't understand anything. and they have an incentive to not understand anything. so they're never going to understand anything.
and that means they will always be following the whims of someone who does understand something. and that someone is someone with an incentive to understand something. and that someone is rich.
so you don't really need to worry about any of this. poor people will be useful idiots no matter how society is structured.

Friendly reminder to all "aristocrats" here - that wealth redistribution (as pitiful as it is nowadays) is the only thing stopping repeated rebellions of the poor working class (lead by the discontent middle class as per usual), which is to say the only thing keeping your property unburned and your head upon your shoulders.
>>
>>61186747
What's your NW anon? If it's anything less than 9 figures, pushing on 10, then you're probably just too naive. Most people don't get that sort of wealth by some idyllic fair and intelligent, purely capitalist strategy, that sort of thing requires a lot of corruption. Yes, they should be taxed to hell and back, but preferably quartered or hanged.
>>
>>61186747

While the rich don't owe anything to the middle and lower class, that doesn't give them the right to shit on the lower classes by ignoring or even encouraging a regressive tax like inflation

The reality is that it IS a skewed game. Central bankers will do anything in their power to prevent deflation from happening, but deflation is the only thing that can minimize the gap between the rich and the poor, as it lowers the value of assets that poor people don't have, and offers them a valuable time to buy them cheaper. Inflation means nothing to the rich because assets will go up with it
>>
>>61188516
>those brokies are just relying on the system and not making anything out of themselves.

>>
