The funny thing is that I'm getting my pHD and then immediately leaving America.
I might not get paid as much but genuinely, I cant stand to live around minorities any longer

>there are minorities in Europe
Not where I'm going. And there never will be because that bubble is popping as we speak.
>you're coping anon
No, genuinely, yeah in 100 years, but the migration backlash has hit critical levels in many places.

America is a blackhole. It's entire economy demands infinite growth. It will suck up every brown retard it can get its hands on until it is crawling in them, from Death Valley to Alaska. It needs this.
If you get out, you won't be stuck in the vortex of diarrhea. You need to be working on this asap. You have 15 years. Plenty of time, but not enough to be lazy.

I have never seriously considered leaving America (mostly because it seems logistically too difficult to get a foreign country to offer you permanent residence) but I agree with the sentiment. The American dream is to achieve the almost incomprehensible luxury of being away from brown people. I have mentioned to my dad before how it feels mathematically impossible to achieve a decent quality of life, and he'll say a house only costs like $350,000 etc. And I'll smile and nod, but in my head, I'm thinking, "How often will the local wildlife keep me awake at night with their nonsense?" Or degrade my quality of life in myriad other ways. It takes a few million dollars to truly achieve insulation from the untermenschen. That's the real reason the American dream is unattainable / dead.

Lagarde (and Kallas) holds less power than any prime minister in europe, literally if the prime minister of Slovenia says no to a proposal she has to shut the fuck up and move on, the EU can only impose policy or punishment to members in case of violation of laws or treaties signed by that country previously.
They're a mix of a puppet and a lighting rod for when things go to shit.

Most of the US debt can be deleted with a single line of code. It is borrowed from the Fed and the Fed can write it off without issue (ok, there would be issues but not that big).

The debt that needs to be kept on track is the debt owed to institutions and other countries. Failure to repay THAT debt would collapse the entire financial system. Keep an eye on that, don't let the schizos get to you. We still have a few decades.

daily reminder that an American McDonald's employee makes the same as a software developer in the EU
and furthermore, that McDonalds employee enjoys FREEDOM of speech, FREEDOM of religion, and of course FREEDOM to bear arms, which protects all the other ones. No europoor, no matter how wealthy or "noble", can say the same. And the best part? If our national gov is too incompetent to do anything effective (usually the case, yes including now), ALL (GOD GIVEN) RIGHTS not allocated to the central gov are RESERVED for the STATES... and the PEOPLE.

The EU may receive some PUSSIES and WEAK individuals from this developement... but those dissenters worth keeping, will STAND AND FIGHT.

the grindr thing is supposed to be because they got an offer to buy the company at 18 USD per share. the offer includes turning it into a private company, delisting it from the stock exchange. Having lived in both, being a European in America is generally a much better experience than an American will have in America, everyone loves you the moment you open your mouth (posh British accent). However, US cities are shitholes and I would only ever live in a small town if I had to live in Merica (I wouldn't chose to).

LA & SF are the worst places I have ever been to in my life and I have been to dozens of third world countries and a war zone. The decline of the West is apparent across US & Europe and only a great man can save us, unfortunately we are going to have to rely on the Zooms to spawn him.

Now, back in the day, when /smg/ was 20x more active, there were bots that would scrape smg for tickers and short/manipulate them for easy gains on options.
We decided to call it NAK 2.0 as an inside joke while we accumulated. Fun times. JXN was a great pick. Dogshit these days, but back then it was perfect.

how do i read these SEDI filings, why isnt it saying which insider was even buying

the insiders got rid of the market maker so it's even more illiquid, and they're still buying on open market almost no illiquidity
they even said when they were doing share buybacks it was basically through appointment just to buy like 30K + 170k shares
so they got rid of the market maker but they're nibbling whatever tythey can on the open market since it's still trading at a -50% nav discount

if i was more bullish id be backing up the truck but canadian real estate is in a precarious place and im only buying coz i get to buy quite literally -50% off

no we just talked bout JXN directly, NAK 2.0 was for some tech bullshit IPO. i dont remember if it was c3 ai or something

i like JXN since it was basically "-80% discount" but honestly i dont think any of us actually understood how their book value was actually calculated with all their weird hedges and shit, i guess the pe being 0.5 was at least the play since it was well below industry (annuities) norm

The difference is that MLP, Pokemon, etc. discussions are driven by pure curiosity sparked by e.g., loneliness, autism, niche-factor, whereas bagholding communites are created purely as vehicles of cope for poor decision making.

My theory is that modern men are so mentally weak that they require an active support group to prevent spiraling towards suicide or violence. Community discussion upholds and nurtures their wishful thinking after suffering a loss, maintaining the individual's stability within society, and hopefully growing to accept their initial failure.

Your best bet is to see just how wealthy a CEO is and whether he is actually taking a risk or if it is just a symbolic gesture. Usually, though, it is a good sign.

This is slightly stock related and I can't ask this on /pol/ because they're r/thedonald schizos:
I used to be fairly religious, but I was working a paramedic job and saw someone burn alive.
Then later one of my coworkers was like "yeah man I heard she used to be a Christian too but stopped so she's gonna have to burn like that in hell forever."

It was one of the most fucked up things I've ever heard, and when I put it into context I felt like a loving God could never condemn anyone to that kind of fate.

This is stock related because...uh....you know....a good chunk of the current party in power is governed by that kind of thought process, I guess.

it's only a good thing if they didnt need the cash to keep the lights on, i.e. they already had a healthy balance sheet and no cashburn in the first place
there are bearish raises and bullish raises, you have to figure out the context, funny often times even with a bullish raise it'll still momentary dip but in the same year just spike up as more people figure out what the fk is really going on

lots of big contracts require the company to have a strong balance sheet, e.g. if you're a small pennyscam with like $5m working capital and you win a contract that's like $30m, the big govt agency or whatever will prob want you to raise capital first before passing through the final st ages because heads will roll on their side if the small company somehow goes bankrupt while trying to fulfill the $30m contract
>>
>>61193902
and if you want examples of bullish raises, look at what happened to PNG.V and GSI.V after their capital raises
in a few months timeframe, both basically doubled from their private placement

the quality of the private placement also matters though even if they don't "need" the cash. You want to see more than one investment banker involved usually -> better deals for the company -> dont want TOO much of the company being sold off either -> ideally no warrants too

Can't hold it against them, it's just the easiest way for some to rationalize. Do I agree with it? >https://www.theglobeandmail.com/investing/markets/stocks/FTHM/pressreleases/34990748/fathom-holdings-completes-54-million-stock-offering/
bad balance sheet, burning a lot of cash every quarter, down to their last bits of cash on top of debt, they did a stock offering because they had no choice or they'll run out cash and get rekt.
that dilution is not good for the stock price obviously and it's just stagnating/bleeding since then

I believe that there is more to our existence than our physical lives. Consciousness clearly doesn't have a single point. The brain is almost like a conduit for consciousness to get through. That's why when it is damaged it cannot fully process it into the real world.

You can call it a soul or something else, that's what I believe.
As for God? I hope there is a benevolent creator. That would be wonderful.
But such a creator, if benevolent, would never condemn a finite evil to infinite suffering. And they would certainly, if benevolent, never condemn someone who didn't pick their religion to an INFINITY of suffering either.
Christianity was supposed to be a religion spread out of love, not out of fear of hell. But right now, fear of hell is the primary motivator behind much of believing it.

If you are ok with people suffering an infinity of hellish conscious torture for believing differently than you, than you are a psychopath and shouldn't be allowed to socialize with normal people. That is sick.
>>
>>61194076
Why the fuck do you think I wouldn't know that Jesus was that? And does that even invalidate my point? It's not me who believes in him and the church that was founded later in his name.

If you claim you believe in Jesus, but not attend Church and/not follow the church, the religious community will not see you in the same light as their followers. The fact there are so many different religious communities based on the same person and belief with deviations itself is already laughable. The easy way would be saying all are right, but if all are right, what's the difference? The alternative is that all are wrong but one.

>https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2025/09/25/3156229/0/en/Rezolve-Ai-Closes-200-Million-Oversubscribed-Financing-Anchored-by-Returning-Fundamental-Institutional-Investors.html
very scammy. some statements here which are irrelevant and how you would say is "pumpy", e.g.
>The transaction follows Rezolve’s recent inclusion in the Russell 2000 and 3000 indices, which has already driven institutional ownership above 10%, including Citadel, BlackRock, Vanguard, State Street, Northern Trust, Man Group, and others.
that is just bullshit smoke screen for a pump n dump, stock offering done through a single lone underwriter with a bad reputation = HC Wainwright & Co
i dont have a good write up on every single bad stock this institution hyped up, you'll have to very that yourself, you can just look at the comments here to get the general atmosphere at least
>https://www.yelp.ca/biz/hc-wainwright-and-co-rockville
and now look at RZLV's financials.
shit ton of cashburn. 1.5 billion market valuation on like $5m revenue, you can get prob open a couple fastfood restaurant thats profitable with higher revenues than that with much less capital.
if we get into an ai bubble + crash sort of thing, this would be the kind of companies you'd look at in hindsight and say wow that looked exactly like hyped pump n dump in the dotcom bubble era, just siphoning cash off from retarded investors for golden parachutes to the directors, and of course the underwriter HC Wainwright & Co, dont forget they also get a pretty commission from the stock offering

Good, cause I believe that too.

But what I meant in regards to which is right was rather from the perspective of one of those followers. From their perspective either every branch is right (which is cope) or just one (most likely his own, cause that's why he/she's part of it) which makes it a gamble and means all others are slightly off and will suffer for it.

and back to PNG.V, their raise from May 2024 at C$0.95
>https://www.krakenrobotics.com/news-releases/kraken-robotics-completes-20-million-bought-deal-equity-financing/
not too much relative to their size back then, no shitty warrants, and look at how it has MULTIPLE underwriters with good reputations.
And if you looked at their balance sheet, working capital, the fact they were already PROFITABLE, i.e. they didnt even need to raise cash to survive and keep the lights on unlike FTHM in earlier example.
they needed cash to RUN THEIR BUSINESS FASTER because they were getting so much business/growth at once
so from $0.95 stock offering in May 2024, they were approaching $3 by the end of the year, and as of today they're now over a $2 billion market valuation (approaching $7) which honestly is a bit frothy but i mean when the first raise happened, it just traded flat, im sure some smarter wallstreet investors prob recognized it but it was an illiquid stock so price discovery was slow = great opportunity for retail shareholders who dont have to worry bout liquidity

that's at C$1.20/share
two underwriters, not as much as Kraken, but both reputable firms (RJ and Cannacord) who were also involved with Kraken.
no warrants too.
this was in July 23, and it's already 2x since then in just a few months. The company has announced like $50m in contracts since then, so now in hindsight you can see why they needed to raise money, their working capital needed to increase to handle all these new contracts, the company itself only had a market cap less than $50 milion at the start of 2025
theyre burning cash now since they increased their operating expenses in advance of a huge surge for incoming business, but prior to that preparation, they were profitable for like 8 quarters already as a small company and still maintaining like 30% CAGR while maintaining that bottom line, so again you see the pattern here. They did not need raise cash to keep the lights on. They needed to raise cash to run their business FASTER, they were getting too much business, what a problem to have

write it down, or at the very least type out rough notes on google sheets or something

copy paste down links, screenshot or whatever, organize them later
any good things to remember in terms of fundamental analysis, write it all down. Peter Lynch's 1994 lecture that was shared here, i liked it a lot since it rang true with what i was learning today (and those references i was reading probably built up on Peter Lynch and Warren Buffet in the first place). Good to learn from people who actually made money consistently, instead of some finance class professor who's teaching about stocks but isnt outperforming the market themselves lmao well they wouldnt be working 9-5 everyday if they actually got rich off investing after all

you cant remember everything off the top of your head, our brains arent wired like that, we forget very quickly (just think back to what you even remember from school unless you look back at what lecture notes you wrote down), you need notes to review back every now and then. Even if it's just a screenshot of one of your losses and you writing down "DON'T FOMO INTO PROFITLESS COMPANIES AGAIN DUMBASS" next to it

I'm starting to trade the markets (SPX/SPY, NDX/QQQ) on cryptoplatforms, because the interest is better when you go short (leveraged). But holding back a little, trying to figure out if rates stay the same, if they are dependent on specific events etc.

Deposit is free (except gas). Withdrawal is free (no fee) and pretty much instant. 5% interest? The best you get on CFD-brokers in EU is around 2, max 2,5% at current Fed Funds.

The same is possible with stocks.

Robinhood (the one that I can get here in EU) is currently offering 100% staking rewards matching which would mean that instead of earning 5%, you’d be earning 10%, though who knows how long this will last.

Staking crypto?
I tried staking crypto and shorting the same token on a CFD broker. Downside is that I can't offset gains and losses as Crypto is not a derivative. So it's a slightly bullish bet.
Then I found decentralized exchanges and saw the rates there for going long and short and dropped the crypto. You just have to find the right exchanges to go long and short the same token on two different ones and earn interest.

At the moment I only have Injective running on Paradex and Reya. This easily beats any other kind of interest earning market. But it's also work, as you gotta monitor if rates stay the same or not entirely flip. You obviously also have to "research" the interest behaviour of the token on the exchange as it can flip.

I've seen people here saying Crypto has no use. It's use is farming interest through trading activity.

You can obviously also just stake crypto and short the same token on one of those exchanges as a hedge and to farm interest on both (by staking and hedging/trading).

And don't forget that your staking rewards are paid out in the cryptocurrency. If this thing dumps, your stakingrewards are worthless too. So you gotta sell the rewards (which is work) or live with the risk. And depending on the rate of the payout you also have the taxbullshit. There's crypto that creates rewards with each block, so depending on the token (for example Injective >>61194425) each 0,7 seconds. That's fuckin retarded, an endless list of taxevents of which the value is under constant threat of change.
>get rewards every 0,7 seconds
>crypto goes down
>gotta pay taxes on a now less worth token

That's basically what happened with those Terra Luna people. They were staking, earned their rewards which triggered a taxable event and then the token crashed to 0. And they had to pay taxes on the moneyequivalent of the token the moment they received the reward.

This is why Liquid Staking is an alternative, but that also has its risks.

HGRAF. Next target $5.20 USD.

The reason for the dip yesterday is because they did a private placement for $20 million with only 2.7% share dilution. This scared some fools into selling. The offering book was filled in under 15 minutes with no upsize, mostly institutional buying, who then proceeded to buy on the open market pushing the price back up the following day.

This raise was actually bullish because now they're flush with cash and can fully execute on building out production capacity, regardless of whether we go into a recession. Raising now rather than later when market conditions could be worse is makes sense. Big derisking event.

Don't regard your position as something concrete. It's ultimately just funds. You already correctly stated that you're watching opportunities fly by. And for what? You're effectively making your money less worth by it being able to do less over time.

You clinging to the position in the red is just psychological misjudgment. If you want to buy it in half a year again, you can still do that. In the meantime, you can use these funds to invest in...
