I work two jobs, I try to trade during my free hours, I live with my parents, I have no SO, I have 30k debt and similar amount in savings, I am 5'8" and 27 years old
The answer is most probably a 'NO'.Who am I that I should make it. Effort alone is not enough, there's quite a bit of luck (if you believe in a thing like that)I am grateful for each day above ground that I have with my loved ones and I guess that is enough for me
>>61194392>30k debt
>>61194392Without a job making $100k plus, no and that's the base line for barely living above poverty. You're earning what a teenager used to earn in boomer times.
>>61194446Because I'm jewish the debt will be erased the moment I reach the ripe age of 50>jk, I will never reach 50>>61194455I'm probably earning less that a teenager in boomer times working jobs that should be considered 'prestigious' and 'high-skilled'
>>61194405>there's quite a bit of luckNo such thing, if your family didn't give you the base needed to develop yourself and if you didn't try to improve your situation then you were never going to make it. I agree, effort alone is not enough, tons of people put effort into a direction that goes nowhere.
>>61194494So if effort is not enough, and there's no such thing as luck, then what is needed for making it?Rich parents?

>>61194497Research, just throwing yourself into a random meme direction for a diploma or degree because everyone else is doing it is only going to result in failure. You have to research what industries there are in your area/country, what the highest paying jobs are in those industries, which ones are in demand vs which ones the normies are piling into and what it takes to actually get into those jobs vs what the HR roasties say they are looking for.I work in a power plant for example, it's basically one of the highest paying normal jobs you can get, as an 'individual contributor' I make more than mid level managers in private industry. The minimum requirement is a highschool diploma, but realistically most people have a 2 year power engineering diploma. There are also ways to become a temp worker in the union and shuffle your way across jobs into operations without knowing anything about machines. Most people don't even know my job exists or consider it as a potential career, instead they go into meme fields that are saturated by millions of other normies. You are right though that I lucked into it, I didn't know what this job was or that it payed as well as it did when I applied. Unfortunately our society came from an age of excess and didn't prepare us to do what is necessary to succeed, if they had told us from a young age that failure was guaranteed without proper research into what we were getting into then I think we would be doing much better as a generation.
>>61194392dawg your a loser no you will not make it how the fuck you got 30k debt
>>61194539The field that I've chosen is pretty great although pretty much no entry level positions and the entry level ones require a lot of knowledgeMy job slowly starting to resemble a decent career but I just want to be a NEET.>>61194709Once you turn 18th our consoomerist society puts a noose on your neck
But what is "making it"?For everyone it's different, what is it to you?
>>61194392No, sorry. we are same age & height. if you're not at 1m already its over. (im at 1.8)Do u at least have a gf? oh i forgot your poor kek
I'm like you but older. Unless you get some kind of fantastic luck like putting 10k on bynd and pulling out 100k in 3 days, you'll just be grinding forever.
We are ALL going to make itdo not despair
>>61194392>30k debt>no SO>5'8I hope you're pulling in 6 figures
>>61195524>>61195721>>61195130It's not about the money. I can easily live on 20k or less a year.Making it is about freedom but I guess there's no such thing in this world.Even cuckzillionaires need to suck some dicks from time to time.
>>61196156Sucking dick is easier to endure if it's to make 1 million bucks in an hour than to make 25 bucks an hour or less. RIP to people still making like 15 bucks in 2025 lmao.
>>61194392Well I guess no debt is good, keep your head up and keep working I’m the same as you28, living with parents, never had a gf or had sexMy networth is like 60k between cash and investments and I just got a job as an office wagie which pays way more than my previous job at Amazon warehouse hell Don’t be pressured to ever move out unless you buy property and for a good price. It’s a waste of money and only serves to benefit the Jewish landlords I’m never moving out, I plan to inherit my parents house once they retire in another country and coast by with the cheap ass mortgage. Meanwhile my friends have to move out because my city has gotten too expensive to rent in
>>61194392where did this debt come from?meme degree?
>>61194392>I have 30k debtThis is deeply offensive to my board's culture, I think you should leave /biz/ and not return.
