>>61197927I have not truly clean-bulked before. I've been cutting by eating at a slight deficit for 6 months(500-750 under maintanance), and eating 170-200 grams of protein a day. Doing this, I have managed to retain and even build a bit of muscle while losing 25 lbs of mostly fat. When I get to around 10% body fat my plan is to start bulking up slowly. I think the key is just to do everything gradually. If your maintanace calories are 2500 a day I would go 3000 maybe 3200 to bulk. If you go over that, you're going to gain more fat than muscle, but again, I have not started clean bulking yet, so I'm not speaking from experience here. I see him get alot of flack on /fit/ but honestly Jeff Nippard is my go to for fitness advice, and he's who I recommend listening to if you want the best results possible.Creatine is the only suppliment I take. Not sure if it does anything, but it's cheap enough and there are no negative side effects.
