Every bank does this if their AML flags get flagged, only difference is that crypto exchanges are way more likely to flag you for AML than tradfi brokers are.

Thank you for the heads up, anon.I had the same issue with kcex, which has been a scam exchange for a while. They eventually let me withdraw, not before deleting my profitable trades. And obviously I had to apply for a new ID.I had $30k on mexc, managed to withdraw on time thanks to you.
