scam exchange.
i cant withdraw my money.
i feel so bad.
>>
Screen shots
Also how much?
>>
>>61196995
around 8000 dollar

they call it "risk control"
there is absolute no risk to control
they even have my identity now

they asking for 3 months of bank movements
like some nigerian scammer doing identity fraud
they can do nothing reasonable with the data
>>
it feels like a xeggex exit scam
i lost 140$ on xeggex and the hope that some shitcoins would surge
but 8000$ would hit me like a steel hammer
>>
now they farm identities
maybe to sell on the dark market for more profit
>>
like dont be surprised when police knocks your door next year
becouse some meth hut was rented on your name
>>
currently i am thinking about reporting crime case to police
what else can i do ?
>>
Are decentralized exchanges like hyperliquid better
>>
>>61197214
That the problem u need attention for something like this
>>
>>61197023
>they asking for 3 months of bank movements
>like some nigerian scammer doing identity fraud
>they can do nothing reasonable with the data
This your first time with KYC? Every bank does this if their AML flags get flagged, only difference is that crypto exchanges are way more likely to flag you for AML than tradfi brokers are.
>>
>>61197223
dont know i never used them
meybe i should try in future
in case i get my money back
>>
>>61197236
tell me what they want do with the data
they allready know my identy
and they not asking about the origin of my crypto
they asking about stuff needed for identity fraud
>>
>>61197236
they
know my phone number
my bank with proof of a fiat transfer to mexc
actual photo with my bank card and id
tell me 1 good damn reason they would need additional 3 months of bank movement
>>
i could easy fake a full bank history
they have no way to check the data
and no reason to ask for it
>>
>>61197268
If the 3 months of bank movement have no correlation with the crypto funds (such as being the original source of funds for your crypto activity), then chances are you are being scammed by some MEXC employee

>>61197298
lol don't do this it's a serious crime that will land you in prison if you are caught
>>
>>61197301
>then chances are you are being scammed by some MEXC employee

that would be also a possibility
but i tried every contact way possible
X
Chat
Email

Its unlikely that all hit the same MEXC employee who try to scam me unknown by MEXC
>>
>>61197301
>lol don't do this it's a serious crime that will land you in prison if you are caught

yeah its easier to contact the cybercrime force of my country
since my crypto is full legal
>>
Thank you for the heads up, anon.
I had the same issue with kcex, which has been a scam exchange for a while. They eventually let me withdraw, not before deleting my profitable trades. And obviously I had to apply for a new ID.
I had $30k on mexc, managed to withdraw on time thanks to you.
>>
>>61197340
whent did you withdraw from mexc ?
>>
Although truthfully, mexc seems legit still (I'm just not taking chances anymore).
I've had to provide extensive documentation for a $1 withdrawal on okx (VARA-verified, that's the law). Get used to it or stick to defi.
>>
>>61197344
Literally minutes after you posted this thread.
>>
>>61197298
If you were stuck on kcex (a literal scam) I'd tell you to AI-generate an ID and do the selfie that way.
They can't do shit to you since they're criminals anyway. They'll then try to use your ID for sketchy shit and fail.
But I wouldn't recommend faking stuff on an exchange that simply seems to be following the law. When kcex ask for ID it's because they want to steal your identity, they don't do verification through regulated service providers, etc. That's not the case here, I think...
>>
>>61197354
when true i take that as a positive message
It gives me hope
>>
>>61197365
Yep, 4chin has once again banned my ip range from uploading images, but sold my zano for usdt and withdrew ez.
Now the issue is where to buy it back before it moons lel
>>
>>61197364
>they don't do verification through regulated service providers, etc. That's not the case here, I think...

nice hint
i will ask that mexc what service provider they use
>>
but i doubt it will bring something.
it smells so much like scam
>>
it feels like xeggex but worse

>>
Bro, chill.
I literally just withdrew on both TRX and BCH networks. BCH kind of got me sweating because it didn't have blocks for an hour but now I'm good.
Usually when these exchanges exit scam, they do it to all of their users at once.

What do you think you might have done wrong? High volume? (My withdrawal was $30k). VPN use? (Mexc is banned in many jurisdictions, using a VPN from one can raise alarms). sketchy trades? Must be something...

P.S. My account was a burner which never did KYC.
>>
>>61197459
its not banned in my country
nether on mexc nor in my country
regulatory they should have a licence
and there is a somewhat older warning in my country that they dont have one
>>
>>61197459
thinking now the most plausible reason they bann usa customers is
because they dont want get hunted by america forces
in practice usa is mainly the only country with the power to hunt cybercrime down
>>
>>61197484
>in practice usa is mainly the only country with the power to hunt cybercrime down
true but kcex is literally bragging about being regulated in the states and just exit scamming people for the past 6 months and stealing their identities, ic3 is still doing jack shit
>>
Practice exchange!

>MEXC

OH NO NO NO
>>
>>61199498
personal face to face kyc
could mean
getting locked in a torture room
until they have all coins
>>
>>61196965
Futures?
>>
Something fucky is going on with MEXC lately. Not going to be specific but I've had some issues with them as well. It's a pity because they are cheap as fuck to trade on, but there's always a catch, right?
>>
I've never had issues and I've withdrawn many times, as late as yesterday, just nowhere near as much as 8k. Are you saying I should get the fuck out?
>>
just use the ids from tea app leak
>>
>>61201010
Zero problems for me, either, but I've lived this shit, and it's not fun when an exchange scams you. Get the fuck out, anon.
