getting over the moral belief that I had to personally work for every dollar I made

after that was getting over perfectionism. Stuff doesn't have to be perfect to sell. It just has to be good enough or you have to be able to fix it

Having patience.

Too many people go down the get-rich-quick route and most of them never make it.

>Richchads, what's the hardest part about getting rich?

Define rich?
To an African having a car and enough to eat would be 'rich'
To a Europoor having a car and house is 'rich'
To an American each member of the family having a car and owing at least 2 homes would be 'rich'.
I am a married American with $1.5 million in an IRA, two cars and two houses, I do NOT consider myself rich

With 7 million I could put 6 million in a S&P index fund and pull out 3% a year ($180K - $15K/month) with 1 million in cash or equivalents to cover market downturns.
>>
>>61198157
15k a month? In germany the average net income is 3k (dollar) Consoooooooomer
>>
But seriosuly seriously? What do amerimutts do with 15k a month????? I never get that? They go to some luxury restaurant and eat 500 dollar steak with gold every day?
>>
I literally live a year with 20k Dollar, on my own, in one of the most expensive cities in germany, with my own garden.

>What do amerimutts do with 15k a month?

We do NOT have national health coverage...
You can lose everything to a medical problem.
Average new car in USA is OVER $50K, house prices can be insane.
We want to travel around the world with family members and that is mega expensive.
That Japanese heated toilet seat bidet my wife wants is fucking out of this world in cost.

>We do NOT have national health coverage...
>You can lose everything to a medical problem.
I know this is a factor. 2k a month maybe with family
>Average new car in USA is OVER $50K, house prices can be insane.
Car not much cheaper here, houses are actually more expensive here because of insane regulations that lower the supply.
>>61198581
>We want to travel around the world with family members and that is mega expensive.
I get 8k maybe even 10k per month.
>That Japanese heated toilet seat bidet my wife wants is fucking out of this world in cost.
This is what im talking about consoooooomer tier. Travel with family should not cost more then 10k a month and you can go to every consooomer place with that amount.

Just get a Korean VOVO toilet for like $2k. They're the exact same quality as the best Japanese TOTO toilets, but half the price
>>
>>61198683
Only a fucking retard would buy that thing when the best Japanese Toto toilets go for like $4-5k. That thing is a scam intended for retarded rich people who think price=quality
>>
>>61198648
You and your wife are going to develope horrible hemorrhoids and maybe even die on the toilet like Elvis. The toilet is NOT a place to lounge, you shouldn't be shitting longer than 5-8 minutes. The bidet is great, though.

I possibly agree with this depending on your definition of the word rich, but semantics aside lots of stupid people get rich by a lot of people's definition of rich.

real jobs have health insurance and its not expensive

just hit 7figs this year, so not really rich but whatever.
hardest part is the start, you're waging with $0 in investments, grinding away with no end in sight, little hope of making it before 50, no capital to compound working for you. still living like a student just to save money. avoiding the pitfalls of lifestyle inflation, not buying expensive cars or a big house. worried about losing your job and how you'll afford rent if you do.
then after getting into crypto it's the drawdowns, losing 80% of value sucks no matter what.
then the constant uncertainty, do you keep holding hoping it will eventually recover? throwing even more money in after losing so much?
and when its 6figs, do you keep holding it or lock in significant profit but miss out on life changing gains? even if you've taken some profit, any 6figs is still a lot of money to keep in an asset class that can drop at any moment. but you need to hold it in 6figs if you ever want to see 7figs.
meanwhile you go through all this stress while still waging, you still have to wake up and get ready for work 5 days a week, put in your 40 hours, deal with people, commute, doing shit to try to meet deadlines, packing lunches.
>>
>>61198968
>packing lunches
Fat ass. 10 hours work without food is absolutely doable.
>>
>>61199003
i've actually switched to just not eating breakfast/lunches for convenience the past year, makes it an easy 18 hour fast. i've been thinking of packing lunches again though, it's hard to get enough protein in the short eating window.
>>
