the GME short squeeze happened 5 years ago
>>
>>61197817
Wrong, 4 years and 3 months.
>>
LINK/BTC has been in an uninterrupted downtrend on the monthly for over 5 years
>>
the /GME/ general is still here LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
>>
>>61197817
Imagine being butt hurt about a profitable company with a 10 billion dollar market cap having a general.
Please forget about GameStop and buy fake meat.
>>
>>61197857
You're right, why is GME a STOCK in it's own silo'd thread? It should be discussed in the SMG thread

MOASS any decade now bro! (joking)

>>61199956
we mention GME from time to time in SMG. but the stupid nonsense stuff should probably stay in the general.
>>
>>61197817
gme is worth more than it is currently.

still holding
>>
>>61199956
the mods are glowniggers and contain topics which are too dangerous in their own containment generals. if gme was allowed to just be a stock the price would immediately rise to $32+ and they can't allow that.
>>
>>61199989
Serious question. Why do you believe GME is "nonsense" when they've got almost 10 billion in the back and barely any debt? They recently distributed a dividend that are basically call options for when the price rises above 32. Why would they do that if they didn't believe the price of the stock should rise? The only analyst covering GME currently is sticking with his believe that the price is valued fairly at $13.50, now how does that make sense?

It's unbelievable that a game selling shop still holds its ground when steam exists. Who is visiting gamestop anymore? It's 2025, gamers are staying at home

MOASS and "fake shares" is the stupid nonsense stuff i am referring to. you can see it mentioned in the screenshot from the general today.

to me GME itself is a small bricks and mortar specialty store chain not large enough to make returns like WMT, HD, COST, LOW did over the last 5 years. even a CMG would be better to invest in imo as they are consistently opening new stores.

personally i think there are many better investments to make in the market than GME.

>They recently distributed a dividend that are basically call options for when the price rises above 32.
thats weird to me. obviously not a common thing companies do. i hope it works out for GME shareholders though.

Habeeb it.
>Who is visiting gamestop anymore? It's 2025, gamers are staying at home
Gamestop partnered with PSA and has moved into the collectables space, many people are walking into stores to send their cards to get graded. They're now PSA's go-to for physical card grading, and the company made a good chunk of its recent revenue from grading and card sales alone. They've also got a digital card gambling service in beta that they've seen mild success with. The company is not the same as it was over 5 years ago.

I will admit I originally bought and held GME because I wanted to stick it to the man. I still do believe in the "fake shares" floating around, if only because the mainstream media keeps insisting that naked short selling is a conspiracy theory. I do want to see GME move on from just its legacy brick-and-mortar presence, into the digital and collectables space. Ryan has done a phenomenal job of turning the company around when it was on its deathbed from bad managment.
>i hope it works out for GME shareholders though
Your honest and common sense approach / attitude is a breath of fresh air. I wish the best for you as well.

there are zero fake shares of GME.

holding GME is fine but def buy other stocks over time. there are a lot of great companies out there.

good luck!

I would love to believe that, but time will tell. I'm self-aware enough to know that it's probably a delusion I have, but I accept it.
>holding GME is fine but def buy other stocks over time. there are a lot of great companies out there.
This is true.

You as well, chief.

>henlo fellow stock investors
>i don't care about gamestop at all and only bye big box store stocks like walmart
>i came here randomly to tell you there are totally definitely no fake gme shares or fake warrants lol
>anyways good bye and bye other stocks
>>
>>61200288
the only reason to buy GME was the MOASS shit. if you are hereby acknowledging MOASS is nonsense, then GME failed
