I have a theory regarding the current economy. So basically every sector except Data Centers and AI jobs are currently decreasing. If the government keeps pushing manufacturing, robotics and mining (rare earfs) then those will probably also grow. So my thinking is we're seeing a total collapse of the 20th century "get any degree and work in an office" economy and the correct thing to do would be to get a degree like engineering or minerology, or get a trade certification that allows you to work in robotics (mechatronics) and follow that up with a robotics degree to ride the rising "robots and ai watch you poop and send all the HR emails" economy.Thoughts?
>>61197854I think you're right that the horseshit jobflation bubble has peaked and popped, with AI kind of being the excuse but not really the cause. there were too many jobs that just didn't produce any value and persisted because of subsidization. now subsidies are pouring into the new useless bullshit in the form of data centers, which also do not produce any value
