Redditors are retarded. The store isn't struggling, thanks to cost cutting, trading cards and powerpacks GME made its first operational profit that isn't in the holiday season quarter (retail stores only, no cash interest) since Q2 2019.

What's gme's biggest obstacles now? Is it revenue? Dilution? I feel like dilution gets brought up a lot, but they haven't been nearly as egregious as amc (310-350% vs gme's 70-80% increase according to numbers I'm looking at)
>>
>>61200057
LC pointed out that dilution to raise cash for growth is not the same as dilution for the sake of financing existing operations and servicing debt.
All that is really left to do at this point is to continue to grow the company's revenues. If RC decides to scale up operations by engaging in M&A, then we are likely waiting for the resolution in BBBY CH11. Other than that we're waiting on earnings reports and Christmas.

Checked, growth vs survival is a good distinction to make when it comes dilution.
For M&A though, I can't imagine how that competes with Berkshire Hathaway. I can see the benefits of a NOL runway and can entertain transforming into an Amazon competitor - but if RC is challenging Warren Buffet, can he challenge them still running a retail operation? Buffet bought into the textile operation in the early 1960's, took control in 1965, and shut the operation down in the 1980's. Berkshire doesn't run any retail operations, but owns a bunch under it's umbrella. Berkshire's amazon position is allegedly less than 1% for example.

>>61200169
The reason they named it butterfly is because it is a butterfly transaction. NOL went with Icahn to the lemon party. The shell goes with RC to IPO his holding company. GME will relist on the spinoff subsidiary of the former (unbreakable units consisting of GME share and GME token) and eventually be acquired by the latter in a stock-for stock-merger.

so let me get this straight, RC (Ryan Cohen, the CEO of GameStop) buys 7,780,000 shares of BBBY, and $60-$80 strike calls worth 1,670,100 shares in March 2022, Reddit censors any and all talk about this, then RC sells his shares and calls in august 2022. Then RC has a sit down meeting with the worlds most famous corporate raider - Carl Icahn - in October 2022. Then with his (presumably) new guidance offered by Icahn, RC offers to buy BBBY for 400m during December 2022. Then one month later, January 2023, the worlds most prestigious M&A analysis software, which costs 4 figures + per month, lists the company BBBY as SOLD. Then one month later in Feb 2023, RC posts:

https://x.com/ryancohen/status/1625507240831553537?lang=en

“someone tell the government to stop shooting down my balloons”, clearly alluding to government regulatory agencies holding up his behind the scenes M&A activity. Then BBBY files for chapter 11 during April 2023, and 8 months later, after bbby shares had already been "cancelled", a GameStop board member - Larry Cheng - who helped Ryan Cohen build Chewy goes onto an obscure podcast dedicated to discussing reorganization and recovery theories for BBBY, which is also attended by Pulte, another figure RC has spent quite a bit of time with. Ryan Cohen is also listed as a creditor and debtor to the BBBY chapter 11.

But somehow all of this is met with an immense barrage of whining from posters who beg the jannies to censor it, and claim that it is somehow "off topic"

Absolutely.
Fascinating.

adding onto this, the most famous company to have ever battled naked short sellers in the press and the courts, was OverStock. It is fair to say that OverStock HATES naked short sellers. This same OverStock is the majority owner of tzero - a company that is licensed by the SEC to offer securities on a blockchain - and is also the same company who purchased the BBBYQ IP and is now trading once again under the same ticker BBBY. Also the warrants being issued by Overstock (now trading as BBBY) match the GME warrants, and on top of that the warrant CUSIP-6 uses the same CUSIP-6 that the legacy BBBYQ used, which only has one possible legal interpretation - that legacy BBBYQ entity is still active.

Very.

I spoke to the devil. If your a concious person in your head you are an important person. You are to become elite at some point in your life. Jeffrey epstein was a concious person, who made a living summoning the devil. He was known in the elite social groups for his ability to be possessed by the devil. They concotted a method of summoning the devil, in that blue shrine on jeffreys island they would rape and torture children under the influence of psychedelics hoping one of them would get possessed. The devil carries knowledge and will tell you anything you'd ever want to know. Moass is the major event that the devil speaks of. Every concious person on earth except for one knows about moass. This is a simulation we are in btw.

yes the Brazilian puts people saw on their bloomberg terminals several years back allude to the fact that (also Bill Hwang atArchegos Capital Management proved that short interest can be hidden in derivatives) most of the REAL short interest is hidden away in swaps and other exotic derivative instruments.

adding to this:

https://tremendous.blog/2022/04/28/archegos-used-swaps-to-hide-positions-other-funds-are-too/

"If a hedge fund wanted to short a stock without anyone knowing how big their exposure is, a swap would be the natural choice. The fund could do numerous swaps with different banks, as Archegos did."

This is also why this is such a massive deal because its fair to speculate that since markets are insanely overvalued, most stocks on the stock market are probably oversold by multiple times the number of shares actually issued by the companies. Blockchain ledgers are the only social solution to the problem, and even then there will be issues with implementation because the entire system is ran by crooks. I say social solution because the DTCC can see all shares in the system so if foreign chinese or russian agents setup a U.S. hedgefund and started printing shares of fortune 50 companies to collapse the system, they would be caught instantly because the DTCC can see all of that, which implies they allow certain companies to be naked shorted to death to make way for the Amazon's of the world to absorb everything.

Remember zombie stocks and how sears is (was, now on the expert market so retail can't buy up naked shorted stocks and collapse the entire system) still tradeable so they never have to close and pay tax and can also lever these positions with their prime brokers to get loans.

There is no proof but there’s massive amounts of evidence, which is literally the thesis of investing. RC is still a creditor and debtor , and the cusip-6 of bbbyq being used by the bbby bonds proves the old entity is alive. And Overstock owns bbby and tzero and Overstock hates shorts I mean years of evidence piling up and you kick and scream that it’s all nothing?

False. Patrick Byrne hated short sellers and he has nothing to do with the company since his departure years ago. In fact, "overstock" as it is today is an entirely different company. Why must you continue talking out of your ass?
>>

How would I know?
But do you think Nat Turner would be lying as a board member of GameStop and as chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Collectors Holdings, Inc. about Gamestop not acquiring/merging with PSA?
>>
>>61201959
I'm not saying he's lying, I'm saying for what other reason could there be for the CEO of PSA to be a board member of gamestop and not have any gme? The only reason is that Nat Turner has material information of some kind which makes him unable to buy shares of gme. Plus no gme insiders have bought this quarter. I'm trying to connect these dots.

Yes. Proof is incontrovertible, which means it can’t be debated, it’s absolutely true. If I want to prove something but cannot then the best you can do is to compile evidence that supports the thesis, but still can fall short of incontrovertible proof.

This is basic stuff, and it’s the entire foundation of investing because without inside information you can’t prove prices will go up or down the best you can do is compile evidence.

The evidence that Ryan Cohen & Carl Icahn got a hold of bbbyq is massive, and that’s why paid stock bashers slide and throw nonsense arguments in order to simulate a consensus from the perspective of passerby’s who just poke their head in once and a while.

I believe in bbby posting simply based on how much obvious shills have freaked out over it in the past, how they never post counter arguments and resort to ad hominem attacks or outright lies, and how they repeat the same catchphrases and talking points like they're reading off a script. I got into this investment based on how I saw the counter party reacting to information being shared, which was to flood anywhere GME was being talked about with shills. The same is happening here. Absolutely nowhere will you find anyone getting this unreasonably upset on a certain topic this consistently with the same anons with the same writing style. If its wrong then I still win because GME will. Anyone telling you discussing this is harming your investment or off topic is clearly lying.

Because it should be crystal clear to anyone sane that RC HAD a plan for bbby, but since he was denied that plan by the board, he sold and moved on. It's so simple, but somehow it's the biggest and toughest pill to swallow for a lot of people. RC isn't obligated to save anyone due to the misdeeds of the bbby board.
>>
>>61202323
The irony isn't lost, they are a bad actor trying to sabotage any honest discussion of GME.

Honestly, if there weren't so many shills I probably would have gotten bored of GME and sold. Good thing there are paid stock bashers trying to talk about everything BUT GME and also paid celebrity shills to tell me to gamble and sell. Their dishonesty and inability to have a discussion is proof they are paid to be here.

So yeah, never selling.

What kind of material information would Nat Turner have?
Since it's not mandatory for Nat Turner to buy share to begin with and can help avoid any conflicts of interests. PSA's partnership with GameStop was mainly to focus on expanding GameStop’s presence in the collectibles market, specifically trading cards. Which they have done. If Nat Turner leaves some time this year or next year, and their partnership continues would that mean a M&A deal was turned down? Or was a M&A deal never going to happen in the first place?

it’s always a copy and paste discussion with bbby in here. like you can go back on 20+ threads and see the same copy and paste comments about the bankrupt stock.

i believe you’re not here supporting gamestop and only here to push bed bath and beyond. it seems like you need to go to /bbby/ and share your content there. i don’t make the rules and i think you’re going to make a bigger impact there because i think no one who holds gamestop wants to conflate the two stocks. because you know they’re two different stocks with nothing similar. you’ve made some reaches implying that they are similar but i believe they’re not. you know? so again i think the /bbby/ thread might be better for you to have a productive discussion there. not the /gme/ thread. even a merger discussion belongs in the bbby thread because there is absolutely no reference on the gme side of things. i think im correct and i don’t think there’s much discussion for any other reason.
>>

It is spot on. I remember casually bringing up how I was learning about options and casually talking about the difference in the IV between GME and a resource stock I owned that had very little volatility. Out of curiousity, I started to look at other meme stocks just to compare them GME. I pointed out that BBBY back in December 2022-Janurary 2023 was burning red hot and I really didn't understand why. All I made was a curious post to my frens with whom I have been shitposting for years waiting for MOASS and I would get instant, scathing vitriol at even the mention of BBBY. It was like a mime who was trying to showcase through his hand motions that he was trapped inside of a box. We couldn't actually see box but there was clearly a no-go zone around a certain topic. And it wasn't even like I was harping on about it for weeks and someone wanted me to shutup. It wasn't a discussion or an expressed opinion. It was like having you hand slapped telling you "this is not acceptable" to talk about.
Sure enough you go and actually pay attention to BBBY and you stumble on the juciest, meatiest something-burger to come out of this whole MOASS saga. Some very powerful institutions were caught red-handed illegally naked short selling with COLLUSION from the board. The entirety of GME MOASS revolves specifically around naked shorting and our CEO caught them red fucking handed. No wonder the shills scream and howl like Auschwitz survivors about BBBY. If you were tuned in you bought shares for pennies. And if you are still tuned in you snagged yourself some BBBY and BBBY warrants. (which, interestingly, have BBBYQ's CUSIP).

It's time to manifest destiny. This week is prime for happenings, an ideal point to retroactively inject the conditions for moass. Realize it is no accident you are here. You've seen a few too many coincidences, had a few too many close calls you miraculously managed to avoid. Now you are here, after being tired of a world where nothing you did mattered, now it matters more than anything ever has. This wasn't luck, it was through your own will to change what you saw.

Imagine it now. Everything you always wanted to do at your fingertips. The mansion, the fast car, the hottub with 10 women. A gaming rig that could run nasa's space program. The most comfortable bed on planet earth. Travel, vacations, beaches. True freedom. You all likely have plans, big and small. Some just want peace, some want to change the world. Regardless you'll be able to do it. Not in decades or years, but in days. You'll be able to do whatever the fuck you want. Tell us all about it. Let's see some good vibes.

The console wars ended in 2007, when Halo 3 was released. Captain King became too powerful so they had to kill him. Took them eight (8) years, but he kept going until he was finally killed off in 2021.

MicroShaft pushed (and got) multi-plats. The Halo Series allowed them to start pushing multiplats. If you were conscious in 2007 you would know how impactful Halo 3 was. I would dare argue it's more impactful than Halo 2, since Halo 2 did the ground work for Halo 3.

If I wanted to bury a topic I think I'd probably just keep bringing it up in the laziest way possible. I'd post pasta while using an avatar to create a recognizable persona to which normies can attach an idea. I would also create a quarantine zone for topic and demand that topic be exiled to the quarantine zone.

This would induce topic fatigue in the target audience while simultaneously giving me a means of attributing any organic contagion in the information quarantine to this caricature. The normies would see variations of the same tired argument I make sure to start in every thread. This would effectively neutralize breaches of quarantine through conditioning a Pavlovian response to topic.

After creating this quarantine protocol I would make sure to deploy it consistently at low levels so that my synthetic topic characterization is always present, but I would take care not to get complacent on a weekend when a thread is bereft of topic because then if someone organically mentions topic the response protocol would be so greatly exaggerated in comparison that I would inadvertently decloak like a Bird of Prey hitting a gravimetric pothole.

The stock was trading for 3 months in the 22-24 range, and we knew that a runup was inevitable going into earnings, and this dump is fake and gay considering how bullish the warrant situation is for us. Why would you swing when we went back to the 22-24 range again? If anything, you can still by back in tomorrow and just consider the difference lost as the cost of doing business. You've learned your lesson, I am sure. If it makes you feel any better, I got fudded back in 2024 and sold at least 1/3 of my whole stack at $10...THE LITERAL HALF HOUR BEFORE THE RUNUP WHEN ROARING KITTY CAME BACK. That's an arbitrary request, and you are still ignoring that the majority of gaming in 2007 was still PC gaming, going multiplat did not add market share.

The fact you have to go 'durr where is the exclusives?' versus 'durr where is the failing console sales' is the answer.

Microsoft had over 90% of PC users, which was a bigger portion of the gaming market in 2007 than consoles, on Windows.

The percentage is the same, with growth in PC ownership remaining static to Console growth as well as Microsoft's domination of the market for OS. The only thing that has grown in gaming has been mobile phone gaming, which eclipses both (and doesn't involve Microsoft) and has consumed a lot of handheld console's market share.

Your argument is that Microsoft introduced multiplat to dominate the market on PC, if that was the case they failed because Consoles still make up the same percentage to PC gaming they did in 2007, with the only growth in market share being mobile games.

It was a rearguard action to protect their APIs. You could write OpenGL games and port them to PS2, GameCube, Linux, MacOS, and Windows... but not the DirectX Box. If you wanted Xbox + Windows you HAD to use the Microsoft stack. Similar today with DX12 vs. Vulkan, since you can use MoltenVK to run Vulkan on Apple devices.

This is actually what killed from scratch engine development in AAA games because people got tired of doing two entirely separate graphics stacks and started buying Microsoft + Everyone Else abstraction layers.
