legit
>don’t know how computer works>on computer site Hmmmmmmmmmmm
the institutionalized lizard brain can only comprehend its induced programming
>>61207039boomers use facebookit's not mutually exclusive
>>61207039I imagine all boomers use the internet like those old movie scenes of people calling their stock broker on the phone and telling them to buy 50 shares of Delta Airlines.>Sonny now attach a photo of a frog and click send
>>61207021>bro we are in 2025 are you 90 years old legit there is legit is XRP LINK tier shit but worse full of oldfucks that don't know how a computer workswrite this again but in english, durgjesh
triggered the gramps
>>61207021It must hurt to be as dumb as you.Crypto is just fiat with extra steps. And all fiat eventually fails.
While there are plenty of legitimate reasons to own PMs, societal collapse is genuinely the worst.
>>61207209Literally no one thinks gold and silver are a scam. People generally challenge it as an investment vehicle relative to others. And it tends to perform poorly in that regard
They precious metal hoarders are stuck in a ore industrial mindset. They're not hurting a gone, so it's best just to let them have their pet rocks while we focus on trying to actually make it.
>>61207275Its just weird that they missed that obvious blowoff top
>>61207240>>61207262You’re exactly right, I don’t even go to /pmg/ anymore because of all the schizobabble about the world economy imploding any second all because of silver. They don’t realize that precious metals are hedges against inflation and not profit making opportunities
>>61207021
>>61207885/pmg/ is an echo-chamber circlejerk akin to GME or link generals.I own some physical gold/silver as diversification outside of crypto but /pmg/ is horrendous, absolute schizo babble. There is factual objectivity behind a current silver shortage + backwardation + the COMEX not fulfilling paper silver orders, but the mentally-deranged who are calling for $500 silver and the end of fiat and other nonsense are so far removed from reality it’s just embarrassing. These people harass their coworkers and family about it, too./biz/ is an investment board, we’re here to make money. Gold/silver has underperformed compared to Bitcoin HARD. That’s just how it is.
>>61207021>pmg users when there are no market makers and they have to haggle for everything and purchase/sell in quantities they don't want
>>61207991Most of them even say that they only stack silver in order to sell it for gold once the silver price moons, when they would have been better off just buying gold all along. But they want to get something for nothing (nigger mentality) which is why they spend all their time daydreaming about laughably high silver prices instead of working hard and making smart investment choices
>>61207991/biz/ is a business and finance board. Tell me how precious metals aren't finance
I'm just gonna keep buying silver and gold rocks instead of your stock/crypto nonsense. sorry
>>61208084>Most of them even say that they only stack silver in order to sell it for gold once the silver price moons, when they would have been better off just buying gold all along.when the GSR corrects you get even more gold if you buy silver now. pretty simple concept to understand. although you do need basic math skills
>>61207021THE GLOBAL FINANCIAL SYSTEM IS STABLE NOBODY PANIC
>>61207991most of PMG is full of faggots bickering amongst themselves and playing ego builder on an anonymous website.there use to be some ok discussion, but after PMG started having regular minters selling meme coins it went to shit. owning physical metals is a smart thing to do but only maybe like 10% at most of your take home pay should go into it
>>61207021Precious metals has one of those weird bell curves where it simultaneously attracts the lowest and highest IQs. The low IQs are highly vocal, while the high IQs just quietly put it away.
>>61207991You're getting close. Look at demand, then look at reserves left in the ground. Then look at patents and new technology the relies on silver. There is only ~20 years of silver in the ground, the scam of artificial abundance are over. There are not enough resources in the world for everyone to have a solar panel and electric vehicle.Once you factor that in, (if you are under 40) then silver seems like a fantastic long-term hold. Most silver people have crypto as well, but most crypto people have no silver and hate on the PMG. I guess they are mad that silver stackers own something and are happy.
>>61207021shiny metals are garbage. Just buy when the lines go up and make gains. Investing full head into metals long term is some subhuman tier shit.
>>61207021Kind of interesting part of the world doesn’t have internet and part uses dex like aster or houdini in order to avoid cex cuz it puts their data in jeopardy kek
>>61207885Yeah, nation-states and banks have totally different end goals than the average person. The reality is that society probably isn’t going to collapse, which isn’t to say it won’t degrade, as it already has.Even if we did have societal collapse then what? What does societal collapse even mean exactly and how could things be so bad that we’re declaring it a collapse but for whatever reason there still exists a demand for a currency that doesn’t provide utility in and of itself? If we’re living in Fallout 4 dystopia then most people are probably concerned with food, water, medical supplies, clothing, hygiene products, batteries, gasoline, and weapons/ammunition.Gold would only have value if the outside world held up and was able to exploit the situation by importing supplies from the outside world. They might want to take gold as payment since it has value wherever they reside. That being said, it’s hard to imagine in our choose your own adventure fantasy game how the United States would collapse and not take everything down with it or not be a target ripe for conquest by any number of players. It seems to only make sense with a functioning local and global economy and even then there’s usually better opportunities for regular investors.
>>61208448Having our own rounds did nothing to deteriorate the quality of the general Except for the newest one
>>61207991I also have noticed that it is an echo chamber in there.some indian fud posts and for some reason they think that means precious metals will moon despite their acknowledgement on global bank collusion and manipulation.very odd
>>61209686Have you ever taken economics 101? What is the effect of a price ceiling?
Gold basically has an inverse correlation with the dollar and real interest rates. If you think the dollar will get wrecked due to the US deficit and/or that incoming inflation is going to be above what people get for their money market accounts & CDs, gold is an interesting asset to own.
>>61207991>no arguments detected>just ur a cult wahhh
Another example of /pmg/ lunacy and power fantasies >>61208570
>>61210598How big do you think QE5 will be?
>>61210598That’s pure cringe. Lotto-ticket mentality. “My true life will begin once the world literally ends.”Some people have nothing, their lives are so miserable they’re banking on the collapse of civilization. I truly pity them.
>>61207021but gold was a great investment the last 5,10, 15 years
>>61207021Yeah it'll be like I Am Legend where NYC is just deserted, but if you have enough shiny rocks you can manifest food and Bob Marley CDs and cure the zombies and stop your German Shepherd from dying.
>>61209554>the dollar will be the only fiat currency in history that has survived because... because.... go USA!
>>61207039>nobody uses computers in over 10 yeas retardor are you sitting on a computer now?maybe try have sex for once and join the rest of the world on phones
>>61207021Jeets buy goldNuff said
there is nothing wrong with hoarding goldyou dum dums have been hoarding shitty altcoins for years at this point
>>61210946Not really. It keeps up with inflation but most want to get far more out of investments
Its for women. Goldbugs srd okd gay faggots. I bet louis vitton bag is s better investment. No really its multiple x vs faggot gold. Dong forget your lipstick gold faggots.
>>61207262> People generally challenge it as an investmentPeople fail to understand the difference between savings and investments. Gold and silver are not and have never been investments, they are money. As for OPs seething, /pmg/ is the only thread on this gambling board that concerns itself with studying history.
>>61208569In other words, PMs are a midwit filter.
>>61210942>fiat collapse is "the world literally ending"fiatcels really think history began 50 years ago huh
>>61213209yeah they tell on themselves like thatthey're such fiat brains they think it's the end of the fucking world when really it'll be a rather smooth transition
