>next wednesday
fomc announcement is in two days. they will cut 25 bps, take your best guess whether that will pump or dump this retarded market
>>
>>61208831
Stfu retard
>>
>>61208831
Raising rates + QT.

You can't fix the debt problem.
>>
>>61208845
How leveraged are your longs?
>>
>>61208843
The decision in rates is not the problem, the problem is the speech after.
If this cunt says that there will be no more cuts or if he sounds bearish we could have a serious problem. Back to 104k
>>
>>61208867
they've already said they will cut twice and it will be 25 bps each time. end of story. if someone wants to pretend otherwise and try to manipulate the market that's on them, not jpow
>>
>>61208876
It's never "end of story" with the fed. You clearly don't pay attention to when they always say they're constantly reviewing as their (lagging) data comes in.
>>
>>61208867
>104k
It will be much lower at least a 65% crash bellow due to how much gold have crashed and its historic correlation with bitcoin.
>>
>>61208831
uhhhh we forgot about this event.
dont remind us
>>
>>61208843
Probably dump if we get a cut.
Inflation is already higher than expected,
Back to 3% well 2.9 and increasing
>>
>>61208976
>Back to 3% well 2.9 and increasing
the market keeps getting excited over this number being low and pumps every time.
>>
>>61208831
He'll say something bearish or Trump will spew some retard tweet again. The entire year has been like this, every single time the market tries to recover, one or both of these faggots has to open their mouth and send everything back down. No reason to think it will be different now.

Fed hasn't been printing for years, last time was during covid
Banks are trying to profit from their treasuries hold after jpow pause clrate cut but to realized that profit banks must unwind their repo collaterals and with that the equity market they pump using the repo proceed
>>
>>61208831
He will cut by 25bps and bitcoin will still crash to oblivion because this market is fucking retarded
>>
>>61209053
Question you need to ask is, if fed intended to recapitalize the market by cutting rates then why won't they do QE at the same time? If they don't want to do QE then to what purpose does the rate cut accomplish?
Fed is controlling the banks through this rate hike-pause-cut-pause cycle, control banks to do.... what?
>>
>>61209129
they only control the short end so basically the 2year, but some say the market controls the fed (the 2 year yield is set by the market, and the fed sets policy depending on that)

so what one of these is true? i dont fucking know

the impact would be that money market funds will start paying increasingly less and suddendly all this sidelined money will be cucked and this pushes people into buying equities

I dont understand how this translates to higher prices but the general rule of thumb i've heard is that if the fed lowers rates the prices (inflation) may go up

so if prices go up, and we are still at like 3.1% inflation and their goal is 2% then why the fuck are they cutting unless they fear that this will cause unemployment?

the fed funds rate makes it harder for companies to borrow and invest on their companies, or just investors in general investing on the private sector, so this may make them fire people

If people get fired they cannot consoom, this means recession

so what fhe fuck does this all mean, too many moving parts
>>
>>61209008
the market is literally at ATH you retard. wtf are you on about
>>
>>61209174
So if one invests in MMF the fund will use that cash on the repo market to gain slightly more than FFR, the borrowers of that money are banks and they use that money to pump equity, all cash is already in equity through repo market
This is the main answer of the question "where did the money gone?" when market plunge

QT pause + rate cut
