Because virtually all western women are mentally children who've been coddled their entire lives.

>they're also the ones racking up credit card debt that they never plan to pay.
They will pay in ways they never dreamed of, many of them will be quite horrible.

I'm not talking loan shark collections, I'm talking destitute poverty. Being a childless middle aged karen that no man or woman could ever like or love who has spent her entire life being the nasty bitch lady in HR.

Western women will find out the meaning of the Asian term "leftover women". She will find out that even people who she thought were her friends actually hate her. No one will want to even give her a Mercury dime.

What are the other countries experiencing?

So far I know London has backorders of withdrawals by 2 months.

Vietnam is mostly closed still in a lot of their coin stores due to outwardly hostile demand.

China and its civilians are notoriously buying gold and now silver up as soon as they can.

India is still hoarding it at their banking level and the season for gold hoarding aunties is upon them. But they are also buying silver now too.

Any western countries begin buying it up or are people still asleep at the wheel? Places like SD bullion are even telling people their shipping has been delayed due to increased demand but once again it is comolete radio silence from the comex talking heads. Any idea what else is going on out there?

That is a pattern repeated throughout history. People who prepared for the predictable disaster are accused of colluding with the people who wrecked the system, precisely to attain advantage through the collapse.

Notwithstanding the fact that most of us have been screaming into the void trying to stop the runaway train, and calling out the jews who've been leveraging their in-group cohesiveness, and their family business, (private ownership of central banks) to achieve their precise goals, that aways end in self destruction.

>>
>>61225272
The Indian looks more chad than the timmy kek
>>
>>61225220
Goddamnit.

Long story short, refiners needed to make as many COMEX bars as possible to save the parasitic retards in London. 90% and stirling take 5x to 6x as long to refine and pour into .999 COMEX bars. Refiners' storage space for less than .999 had gotten filled up. They kept buying .999+ because they could literally just melt and pour. Refiners were also turning away silver ore because of the squeeze. So coin shops and bullion buyers had been buying all things silver right before the refiners had to pause buying anything that actually needed refining and they had all this 90% overstock. So, they decreased what they offered for 90% and started selling the 90% to retail customers at spot or just below. Every retard freaked out because they couldn't take 3 minutes to google what was going on. Just a temporary interruption caused by a failure of the jewish-designed market.

90% is great for small transctions. Gold coins are great for large purchases. Larger silver bars are best used at dealers for trading up for gold coins when the ratio drops.

Yes, the ratio's really off in Gold's favor right now. 100 years ago, you could get an ounce of Gold for 20 Silver Dollars and 67 cents (around 15.97 ozt. of Silver), nowadays the ratio is something like 80 ounces of Silver for an ounce of Gold.

>The retail level in America is pretty smooth.
Likely because there is an inflow from boomers which balances out the buying from the stackers.

Anywhere else in the world where there is a net outflow like Vietnam or Norway is experiencing a shortage.

The severe backwardation a couple of weeks ago caused issues with mints like the Royal Mint, and the RCM because they couldn't affordably lease (hedge) silver that they needed for production, and the last thing a mint wants to do is buy a million ounces unhedged only to see the price get slammed down by nearly $8.00 per oz, which is what actually happened.

Normally, lease rates are so low that they aren't even factored into the cost of production. Not the last two weeks.

>Likely because there is an inflow from boomers which balances out the buying from the stackers.

When I mentioned boomers selling their stacks, one of the guys raised his eyebrows and nodded. He said that there were more inquiries coming from people who never owned any silver; first time buyers. He said that the buying and selling, at retail level, was about the same in his shop.

The problem is, it's still a game of musical chairs. So what if LBMA gets a bunch of silver over the next few weeks or months? The net loss from production will strip both output and reserves until there's nothing left. All they're doing is kicking the can down the road. Which is fine by me. I get a discount. At least for now.

That goes without saying honestly, dealers aren't gamblers.
They'd only make some wacky deal like this if they couldn't stock silver at all and had excess gold, but a run on PM's would leave them with nothing of either - in this case they actually might have an ounce or two of 10,000 dollar gold and no silver, and it would make sense in this specific scenario to get some silver to continue selling.

Like really we also couldn't predict a lot of things that have happened to silver, like a 8 dollar premium on ASE's, or junk not selling at all right now, or junk selling for a lot over spot just 2 years ago - hindsight is 20/20 but nobody - not even a dealer - can really predict the future.
A market run can make dealers do wild and retarded things, if their stores are even open at that point.
>>
>>61225566
>Why the fuck are ASE’s 7-8 bucks over spot now but like 2 weeks ago they were $2 over spot?
1. Demand picked up.
2. Lease rates for silver used in manufacturing went sky high two weeks ago

Premiums may come down, but expect silver prices to go up over the next month. LBMA still needs to replace the 300 tons of silver it leased from China. India is still thirsty as fuck.

>I’ve had two separate dealers confirming my suspicions saying that if the ratio narrows to 20-1 that there is no way they will be giving you an ounce of gold for 20 ounces of silver

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

You retards think that if the ratio narrows to 20 to 1 that you’ll get 23-24 to 1???

A dealer is going to give you an ounce of gold for 24 ounces of silver? At a 20 to 1 ratio?

Even if they are gonna swap you for it, it would probably be at minimum 50 to 1.

Mind you, when it hits 20 to 1 or 10 to 1 or whatever that’s likely going to be in a revalued state. Let’s say gold is $20,000 and silver is $1,000.

Just look at the demand issues with silver right now and shit has just barely pierced the unwashed masses hive mind.

And you guys think when silver is 20 to 1 with gold and every chud is lined up down the block from the LCS’s door that there aren’t going to be gold demand issues? And that’s even if the dealers will sell you the gold, which they probably won’t, cuz why the fuck would they when everything has revalued to gold prices and they can just close shop and go fishing.

There a lot of stories about people being obsessed with gold and silver, I think there is a maddening aspect to it. It’s different than paper bills. Having a large stack of gold and silver in front of you is a much different feeling than a stack of paper bills. Think of how long people have been gazing at stacks, how many men have spent their entire lives dedicated to stacking. We think we’re a modern phenomenon but stacking is a tale as old as time.

Uh, this is common practice. I've been using the GSR to grow my stack for years. Correct. The other guy thinks that resentful shop owners will be too greedy to trade gold for silver.

No shit it is common practice to grow your stack that way. But it’s not 1989 to 2005 when the dollar still had plenty of life left in it.

There is an end game to all of this, right? And this is seemingly the end game of it all. The point of stacking the last 50 years was as a hobby to save money and pass down to your grandkids. Well now shit is swimmingly getting real. Talks of revaluation and what not. Do you think the point of all this is to pass it down to your grand kids Infinitum till the year 6045 A.D.???

no, stackers and preppers have been predicting armageddon-next-week for at least the last 50 years straight. I know, I stacked and prepped from about 1975-2000

you might finally be right this time, but probably not.
>>
>>61226113
the problem we have is we look around and everything is fucked up and we think,
>Surely it can't get any worse, there'll be blood in the streets

but we've been thinking this for probably hundreds of years now without much happening. If you took a bunch of boomers and transported them directly from 1975 to 2025 they'd probably take up arms and start killing people. But since society and government changed slowly they never reached that point of outrage. And that's universal. People will continue to hate the current thing and predict that it must all surely come to an end, and things will keep right on marching down that path to hell without much happening to stop it.

when the dollar is truly worthless (as it now is) we'll either move a couple decimals or just start using $10 in place of $1. Or $100 will be the new dollar. It won't matter and it won't change a thing.

anyone that thinks things can't get worse needs to get out more. Things are much worse in lots of places and people still aren't rioting in the streets or even trading in gold or silver daily. Things can get much worse. And they will. And not much will happen despite that.
>>

>sell the silver to one shop for fiat
>use that fiat to buy gold from another

What does selling at one shop and then buying gold at another have to do with my argument?

You already have shops who aren’t buying junk or generics. I know it isn’t ALL but a good amount aren’t. And I think things have now stabilized some. But just the fact that there was some real issues when shit isn’t even close to crazy outside of stackers tells me there is absolutely no way you are gonna just be able to walk in with 300 ounces of generics at ANY store and get cash for them. If silver is at $500, you’re probably gonna get $150 or something for generics. And now your precious 20 to 1 ratio is back at 60 to 1.

And then they might not even sell you the gold.

In 2011 people were selling their silver and they were happy. They were going out to live life. Go check the video of the guy who sold 3,000 ounces on pawn stars. He got his check and we left ready to go have a good time.

Back in 2011 it was only preppers/stackers and ajacent people to them who thought the world was ending. If you went up to a normie back then preaching shit is fucked, and we are fucked. Buy metals and ammo. They all hand waved you. Things weren’t great but there was still very positive aura out there.

Now people selling at coin shops at these high prices are depressed. There’s no life in people now, and you can talk to any normie how things are fucked and they agree.

My point in telling you this is there’s a lot of people here and elsewhere who have a good amount of silver. 1,500 ounces of silver or 800 ounces of silver and 1 ounce of gold or no gold cuz muuuuh GsR RaTiO. Well I’m just telling people they are fools if they think shit is gonna go smoothly and Joe at the LCS is gonna have a red carpet rolled out for you to give you an ounce of gold for 20 shitty meme coin generics.
>>
>>61225401

>>
>>61226204
Stackers and preppers have always been schizo doom and gloom types. Most of us grow out of it at some point. Most of us also grow out of betting on silver at some point. For me that point was around 2000, and it took 11 more years before I could unload the pile of silver I had amassed for no real reason.

yes, we were happy to unload silver in 11 and 12 just like some people are happy to finally get out of silver now. But those aren't stackers. Those are former stackers. And every time a former stacker cashes out and feels good about it, 2 more new stackers are born and happily buy.
>>
>>61226189

>soon

I hope you're talking about months because LBMA is looking like the focal point of the narrative. They want it to limp along as long as possible. Problem is, they can't get around the lack of supply. Assuming they can paper over this for as long as possible, they might be able to push this to next year. The physical supply is a very important factor. I believe that the price of silver will remain sub-$100 as long as it's readily available. Which, currently, it is. Back in 2021 they magically found a bunch of silver that flooded the market. All of which is now gone. Maybe they'll find another few million ounces behind the couch again. We'll have to wait and see.

Yeah, the economy will tank. That will take years to unfold. An important factor as well, but I think supply is more immediately important. In any case, you're right that the economy will play a major role in the price of precious metals. It seems obvious that precious metals will be driven by a combination of inflation and supply problems. Put those together and it's looking quite bullish for gold and silver.

Just remember: This isn't a sprint. It's a marathon.
>>
>>61226204
>I’m just telling people they are fools if they think shit is gonna go smoothly and Joe at the LCS is gonna have a red carpet rolled out for you to give you an ounce of gold for 20 shitty meme coin generics.
I've said it plenty of times before

nobody was buying the top in 1980 or 2011. Bullion dealers aren't idiots, they know they can wait a week and the price will go back down. They don't buy the highs.

I got called a liar and a fool and a few other names for stating what I saw the last two times silver peaked. But maybe now some will see I was right. When silver moons, dealers stop buying.
>>
>>61226226

The physical silver they leased for about 3 months has huge lease rates. This will all reload around December.
>>

>That will take years to unfold.

>>

2011 is the single highest mintage year for ASEs, countless people bought the top.
>>
>>61226243
Dealers in my area weren't buying any silver when it hit $50

yes, people bought the top, and dealers bought some fairly expensive silver that year, but dealers weren't buying the very top. Not where I live anyways.

when I hear dealers weren't buying junk and generics during the peak a week or two ago I'm not at all surprised. They don't buy the top.
>>
>>61226256
It's not concern, I dgaf about the finances of anyone here. Silver seems like a pretty good bet at the moment anyways.

I'm just tired of these kids calling me a liar when I tell them what 1980 was like, or 2011. It amuses me to see it repeated now.

and now when I say we used to buy junk below spot with zero premiums, or that when silver moons dealers stop buying it, they might actually know I'm right.
>>
>>61226216
>>61226230

Why are we here then? If it’s to make fiat in this paradigm why are you stacking? Again, in 1980 and 2011 the doom and gloom was not the general sense of the population. Now the general sense of normies is doom and gloom about what’s happening.

If you are looking to play the GSR at this point you are playing with fire. If I had 1,000 ounces of silver and no gold I’d sell half at these ratios just in case.

>Third world countries are pretty good examples.
Notice that many third world countries are using $USD/EU as their backup currency. A number of countries like Panama use the $USD as their legal tender. The other issue is that virtually every currency in the world is a US dollar derivative. For example the $CAD is calibrated to be in a range of 60-90% of the $USD value, because if it goes to high, our exports to the US stop.

Most countries adjust their exchange rates to ensure net balance of trade surpluses to get those needful US dollars for international trade.

When the US dollar goes tits up, lots of other things around the world will break. Trump's tariffs have the positive effect of forcing the much of world to prepare for a non-US dollar dominant future.

Canada, Mexico and the EU are too tightly tied to the USA to de-dollarize, so we go down with the ship.

When gold and silver become money again, given their relative scarcity, I believe prices will be very low relative to metal. Ie, an oz of silver might pay for groceries for a family of 4 for a week.

People can live under high inflation, ie 50% per month, but life changes. For example property prices go down drastically, because there is no such thing as a 30 year mortgage. Banks won't give long term loans denominated in a high inflation currency, so property sells for cash, (or gold/silver) at a fraction of what it would sell for in the currentyear USA.

When a currency enters hyperinflation, that's the death spiral. Prices increasing rapidly everyday destroys most productivity, and never lasts very long.

Venezuela is an example of both a country that has been living with very high inflation for around a decade, while at the same time adapting to use gold and silver as backup currencies.

they'd have to be given the increase in populations and goods since the last time we used them. And even back then there was never enough gold and silver to go around. Most trade in the 1800's through mid-1900's was paper checks and bank notes that generally couldn't be redeemed because there was never enough metal to go around.

I haven't collected bullion in about 5 years, and I've recently started again, and I cracked open my old safebox to put my new silver coins in but I noticed that some of my old silver coins, which haven't left their plastic pouches inside the safebox in 5 years, have a purple tinge around the edges, but not all of them.

Is this oxidisation or something else? Does it depreciate their value? How do I stop this from happening in future? I'm buying from a trusted source

It's just toning and has no effect on value as far as bullion is concerned, same with milk spots. If it was a collectible piece it might make a difference, but otherwise nothing to worry about.

It won't hurt your coins. You can get anti tarnishing packets for your safe, which are like those desiccants they put in pill bottles, except they remove sulfur from the air.

yeah i was just messing, i hear PVC sleeves can have a real effect on them, permanently turning them green and such so watch out for that.
But I think for that reason you won't see many PVC sleeves getting around so not a big problem

Probably just toning, maybe from a reaction to the plastic. Doesn't devalue them and some people like it or deliberately tone their coins. Cleaning coins can only ever make things worse so don't do that.

What’s a reasonable price to pay for 250g of silver at the current valuation?
>>
>>61226872
Do you mean 8x 1oz coins?
Why are you using grams?
>>
>>61226872
As close to spot, rounds and some bars can be found for like $2 /oz ober spot usually
>>
>>61226872
Silver spot is about $1.55/g right now. So it's spot weight is about $390.

Well basically (and what plastic cucks don't tell you) what happens is that the tiniest amount of sulfur in the air from any source can cause silver to tarnish on the surface. This tarnish protects the rest of the silver from tarnish + anything else.
So trying to keep it in BU untarnished condition odds are it's gonna tarnish at least a little. Sulfur is everywhere.
