I just bought a 50lb bag of industrial baking soda but i dont know what I'm gonna do with it. You're supposed to clean with it i think?

It puts into perspective on how absurd women were with extreme couponing.

Tips?

Here's where i got it from.

How is your weevil farm going
>>
>>61232136
nothing.
its in thick carton packages and additional wrapped in plastic.

Also i have a "dont kill spiders" police in my house.
the spiders eat and kill everything that would eat my wheat.

one interessting funny thing is. the spiders descend many time in front of my face.
I watch my computer and suddenly a spider is in front.
i dont know why the guys doing that.

Biggest paper mache vinegar and banking soda volcano obviously

It is unironically the opposite of frugal if you're just buying random shit without a plan.

But women told me they use to to clean and save money.

I drink it when ever i get acid reflux.

i bought today 100 pack of instant noodles and 40lbs rice
i do bulk buy whenever i see a good offer
my last bulk buy
was 48 cans of monster drink and 100 cans of tuna

having a 50% discount dont save much when you buy only 1 or 2 items.
When you buy 100 items it hits good

>buy bulk salt
>buy bulk black beans
>soak black beans in water, salt, and baking soda brine for 24 hours before cooking
>enjoy creamy soft beans in less cook time

Bro wtf you gonna do with that? The average person probably goes through 8 oz of baking soda per year
>>
>>61234249
Thats because most people just clean with store branded chemicals that are literally 10x the price compared to basic cleaning items.

I get all of my bulk cleaning from the dollar store. I just buy 10x of each and it only costs me 50 dollars a year to stock up.

Bleach
Vinegar
Baking soda
Soap
Hydrogen peroxide
Ammonia

For laundry though with a single load, I use quarter of a cup of baking soda, 3 teaspoons of dish soap, and another half with actual detergent with enzymes.

The second i started using that my clothes come out soft without smelling like flowers. If you want some scent just buy some essential oils.

Okay OP welcome to baking soda world. Here are some things you can do with it
>brush your teeth with it
>clean your hair with it (only occasionally, it's pretty harsh)
>put it in your fridge to absorb smells
>clean your kitchen sink with it
>drink it to stop heartburn or indigestion
>bake soda bread with it
>general cleaning, especially for absorbing liquids or fats
Just remember it has mild bleaching effects and good odour-absorbing qualities, but its main purpose is as an abrasive, so don't use it on anything that could get scratched or ruined.
If you go hard on all these things you might make your investment back in 5-6 years.

Obviously pair it with vinegar for even more possibilities. Vinegar is also good as a fabric softener. Put it in your washing machine, especially if you have hard water.

where'd you buy it from? Only place I can think of is alibaba
>>
>>61236018
There’s some funny places where you can just buy whole ass barrels of wheat grain, I’ve got family that would drive up to big Mormon supermarkets to get it dirt cheap and just make homemade bread for forever.

of course you mean hardtack as it doesnt expire, rather than bread, for that amount

Holy shit this is just straight sugar wtf

Is this how people survived for centuries?
>>
>>61236863
You never had a Crunchie bar?
Yeah, it's basically just sugar and can be made with tons of variations on sugar and water but the bicarbonate of soda puts a bunch of air into it.
Absolutely delicious stuff.

It's for adjusting the pH of pools.

You probably shouldn't use it in cooking since it might have more impurities than food-grade.

>one interessting funny thing is. the spiders descend many time in front of my face.
Yeah.

I had a spider make a little random nest-web next to my chair in my studying room when I was in grad school. At first I thought "KILL IT!!!" but I decided to engage in a live-and-let-live policy since it was probably killing bugs.

We lived together for maybe a couple of months, me gazing down on it from my chair, it gazing up at me from its web. I thought we had an understanding going on.

Anyway, one day I was sitting there reading a textbook when it decided to bungee-jump directly in front of my eyeballs.

I brought the textbook up and SLAMMED it shut on the spider.

I still feel a little bad about it. It probably thought we were bros and it was just playing peekaboo, but that was its first and last mistake.

Talk to an old foagie at a farmers market, it can keep reasonably well without having to do anything crazy, also you can get a countertop mill cheap.
