Would yall niggas be interested in an SDL alternative? i'm still seething with how bad they fucked up linkpool
>>61233854BASED LPL KIDDO HOW YOU DOIN KIDDO?HUH? HUH?WE TOLD YOU TO BUY LPLPOOLS FUCKING CLOSEDFUCKING SEETHE
i cannot understand buying a token centered around link, and not just buy link
>>61233854Dont trust insecure, short people with your money
>>61233893Hmmm sounds like you might not be retarded…but you’re here at /biz/ so it’s a tough call…
>>61233893>>61233974at the time it made sense because there were no plans for chainlink to have its own staking platform
>you need lpl to stak-ACKKK
>>61233854Alternative staking platforms is like going to the superbowl in person, you drive into the parking lot, and you see a sign that says VIP PARKING ONLY. Then you see a sign across the street at a mattress outlet store that says "superbowl parking". You instead drive into the mattress outlet parking lot, and ask the attendant outside if this is the place you can park for the event. The attendant says he can do you one better, he's got a special agreement with the arena that when a spot opens in the VIP section he has permission to park a few vehicles. Even though you find this logic absurd, you give him the parking fee and your keys trusting the process.Hours go by, you notice that the attendant is parking a few vehicles (that he owns) into the spot, showing you that the process works (it doesn't). You're all set and you go into the arena.Once your done with the event, you go back to the VIP section and see your car isnt there. You look at the mattress outlet and you also don't see your car there. The attendant is also gone. You go to the mattress outlet and go inside to ask where your car is located. They look confused because the employees of the mattress outlet themselves stated that they never offered any "superbowl parking". Then the mattress outlet tells you that it's your fault that you gave your keys to an attendant that didn't work for the event at all. So now youre without a spot (staking) and the value of your SDL tokens were cut in half (car is missing).
>>61233854For me, it’s the fact that all nops do is dump the token. Like you can watch them on chain just unloading into every even modest pump. Every single retrace is the nops dumping. And it will take them years to run out of tokens (which they were given at the expense of lpl holders)Really good incentive alignment, guys. If your own partners don’t want to hold this dogshit token, why the fuck would anyone else want to?
>>61234170hilarious write up thanks anon
>>61234085Wasn’t linkpool also suppose to do Saas (software as a service) and refund sharing amongst holders of its token
>>61235719“revenue sharing”
>>61234085>>61234170there is no "staking platform" anywhere, "chainlink staking" doesn't secure anything and there have been no developments for literally years aside from the abortive "build rewards" program. nops are in the dark about what "staking" is supposed to be as much as you retards are, because clabs isn't doing jackshit with staking and hasn't for almost the entire tenure of the project
>>61235739shut the fuck up you retard
>>61236495I'll shut up when after 3 years there is more than a single experimental SLA funded by clabs just giving away tokens for no benefit
>>61233873>based LPL anon enters thread >thread becomes 1.4 quadrillion percentage points more based>refuses to elaborate>leavesholy based
>>61236506I can't tell you what to do.
>>61233854I think SDL is pretty good we don't really need an alternative SDL3 has some cool features like the GPU abstraction layer and how it handles dependencies. If you want something simpler you could always use raylib
>>61235739L MAO, negro, I was going to use watch but the is wrong. Apologise.
