This is what true financial innovation and leadership looks like. EU is once again leading the way for the future of their people.

I never understood this obsession third worlders have with getting rid of visa and mastercard? The fees are negligible, the infrastructure works almost perfectly (I think I can count on the fingers of one hand the times visa/mastercard had outages and they were always local and quickly resolved), they have a pretty good safety record and dispute process.
The times when they got political and denied services to retailers was because of government regulations forcing them to even if indirectly.

So what exactly are Europoors and South Americans trying to achieve? Always see them bragging about their "independent" payment system. Independent from whom? Will they not obey local laws and regulations? Will they not charge merchant fees? Where will they get the money to pay for and constantly upgrade the infrastructure then? Some form of taxpayer-funded subsidy? Will their dispute resolution protocol be any different from what visa and master card have in place? If so, how? Will it be more skewed towards sellers or buyers?

It's just such a retarded cause celebre. It reeks of impotent rage from countries that were left behind in the digital revolution and are now grasping at straws to show their demoralized populace that ackchyually... we don't rely on American technology for everything! Look we can process our own payments.

Pathetic.

This. Every alternative to American companies is a plus. It's that easy.
>>
>>61239413
kek are you one of those brainlets who thinks visa and mastercard are the ones charging interest?
>>
>>61239418
Not if the alternative is European. European tech is always worse and more pozzed and their American counterparts, no exceptions. Just look at Claude AI. So fucking gay and censored to shit even more so than Gemini.

Show me your superior American ASML.
Anyways cutting out the mandatory credit card middle man is hardly about technology and more about politics. It's just common sense.

Its gonna be dead before it launched, nothing is getting done in the EU besides writing more regulations

They will never implement this, and if they manage to it will be unusable

Maybe they will pay visa or mastercard to implement it because they are completely retarded and incompetent, and i dont mean europoors but the european parliament

t. europoor
>>
>>61239410
It's impotent rage. Their shit will only work within Europe. Consumers don't buy euro shit though. So their payment system is cucked from the beginning
>>
Visa and Mastercard are evil kike corporations, but this bitch is pure evil and anything she is pushing never benefits the tax paying citizens. There is no winning move here
>>
>>61239410
i don't believe in bait these days. you're an uneducated right-wing populist who can just go fuck themselves.

What’s wrong with being a populist? It just means you’re supported by vast swathes of the population doesn’t it?
>>
>>61239699
It angers the turd worlders and Eurocucks because it means you don't want your tax dollars going to feed an infinite horde of uneducated and violent shitskins that don't have an IQ high enough to maintain or respect a functional civilization.
>>
>>61239410
Not sure if you are dumb or not but the fees just in USA in 2024 amounted to 190 billion dollars. Its a 1-2 even up to 15% tax on all sales if you're naughty for the privilege of accepting money that user to be free

Even worse is that the USA leverages it for control. For instance in Venezuela Trump snapped his fingers past term and shut down all their visa/ MasterCard processing. This is a huge weakness the American president can just drop because he's in a bad mood from a hemorrhoid
>>
>>61239699
Populism just means letting retarded uneducated peasants ruin everything. Seems much wiser to let the experts who have dedicated their lives to public service to be in charge.

Nigger you are so fucking low IQ holy shit. Claude is so far above GPT and the rest it's not even close when it comes to coding, and then you compare it with the literal most dogshit AI. Literal open source distilled chinese models perform better than google's garbage. I mean this seriously, you nigger worshipping muttrican, did you finish high school? Or was there a mass shooting in your high school and you quit because of it?

>>61239410
The fees are absolutely not negligible, they're enormous, often 1-1.5 usd per transaction, which for things like groceries adds up to a lot.

Europeans are so cucked eventually they will not be allowed on the internet due to lack of free speech laws.

If you compare nominal GDP growth with real inflation you will see that the European economy is shrinking 2-3% every year since 2000. EU leaders are incompetent retards ruining the continent. All of their plans will make your life worse.
>>
>>61239679
She is literally evil to the point where I'm like:
>Actually, Visa and Mastercard, you're good guys.
This evil old cunt helps to push mass migration saying it's good for the economy.
>>
>>61239243
why does every single thread about europe ends up becoming a US vs EU fight?
how do you faggots not understand that the EU is a puppet of the US government, just like many other orgs (IMF, WB, UN, ...)? americans literally extort politicians by threatening them with intelligence stuff if they don't do whatever the current POTUS wants them to do.
>>

they're russians pretending to be americans or europeans and trying to create dissent. Sadly for them they're too naive and dont understand the fundamental power structures that keep the US and EU together and actually think their troll farms work lmao
>>
>>61241384
>they're russians pretending to be americans or europeans and trying to create dissent
[X] doubt

>fundamental power structures that keep the US and EU together
what are these? like I said, the only thing that keeps the US and EU together is the fact that americans control their puppets by threatening them.
>>
>>61239410
>The times when they got political and denied services to retailers was because of government regulations forcing them to even if indirectly.
Bullshit. They have denied service to countless completely legal and moral businesses. And even if it was true that it was due to government pressure, despite the business being legal and moral, then that doesn't exactly make things better. It would just mean that it is the US government that is the problem and we need an alternative to them too.
