How did they only pay him $10

Federal minimum wage hasn't been increased since 2009. It's still $7.25/hr.

what a loser
>>
>>61241383
$7.25 didn't buy shit in 2009 either.

This is just virtue signaling by status chasers. If they were told this story nor any of their actions would be publicized or shared with anyone, 95% wouldn't care. This is just to feed their own egos

I feel bad for him. Dude got a raw deal.

probably I'm a few months from going bankrupt with no employable skills. I'll end up as a janitor until a robot replaces me then I'll kill myself

At least he will be in heaven, unlike his bullies who fucked prime teen pussy until eventually getting married and having 2.5 kids on their 150k middle manager salaries who died surrounded by loved ones.

Who fired him? Sounds like someone needs the wrath of Anonymous.

>Will this be your fate if you dont make it?
Family doesn't give the slightest shit about me: check
Never married, haven't had a girlfriend in twenty years, and no kids: check
Last significant friends I had tried to drug me to rob me of my BTC: check
One friend left from way back in college: whew

So I guess I have one person left who gives a crap about me. Maybe he'll throw a party when I croak. Not sure if that's a win or not.

>>61241363
I already made it in my early 30s. And if I do go back to work, it won't be for anything less than my last rate of $80 per hour (inflation-adjusted). Poor old Brian either had a mental disability or was probably diddled as a child which lead to his life of humiliating deficiency.

I wasn't "almost" drugged, I was actually drugged.

I've posted the story before and invariably some dumbfuck calls me a paranoid schizo. Anyway, I told a "friend", really more of a professional colleague who was part of a group of more professional colleagues the rest of whom I actually considered friends, about Bitcoin back in 2015. He of course thought it was stupid and never bought any. Then the 2017 parabolic blowoff hit and suddenly he decided he was my best buddy, which always felt fake as fuck to me. And he was ALWAYS loudly talking about how smart I was to have bought Bitcoin and how he wished he'd listened to me every time some of us went out. Like, tell the entire bar loud.

Anyway, one night he organized an evening at a bar and invited a few of us -- not even close to the usual crowd, just two other guys who both had families and always made an early night of it -- and we sat around drinking and talking. He insisted I have one more drink with him before we left because I'd only had one all evening. I thought the one he brought me tasted weird. We all headed outside and the other two as usual decided to go home. He wanted me to go to another bar to keep drinking with him. I started feeling really out of it, immediately decided to go home as well, got into a cab, and the cabbie had to look at my ID card to see where to take me. The guard at my building helped him drag me up to my apartment -- I assume he got paid out of my wallet, hope so anyway. I came out of it fourteen hours later still feeling dizzy and barely able to stagger around, which lasted a couple more days.

So, yeah, two drinks doesn't do that to someone unless they're fucking loaded with GHB, Rohypnol, or scopolamine.

Someone, almost certainly him because of the only thing stolen, later broke into my apartment and stole my archive hard drive, which is ok because it was full-disk encrypted and I had a copy.

this is basically the exact fucking story of that Meth Damon movie "I'm thinking of ending things"

Thanks for sharing your story anon.
This is exactly why I lie about my personal wealth and tell people I never owned crypto. Stocks only. And even then I brag about it and show off my four figure test portfolio only.

Better to be thought poor than to be well known rich.

you know most states have min wage laws. MN is 11 something and 15 something in the twin cities

chipotle pays 18. bro should have shopped around.

I'm not going to make it after I realized that stocks I bought and sold at a 5k loss during the 2022 bear are now worth nearly 4x my initial. Literally me.

What a faggot. At least society WAS working when they shamed this weak retard into doing what little he was capable of. Today's culture would put him on government money for life because muh fee fees.

Was he white? If so he had no excuses not to make it, he had the full privileges during his lifetime. Blacks that had real roadblocks made better lives for themselves.

those bottom feeding, globohomo faggots are too busy hacking corporations that work alongside ICE to actually do something worthwhile in their fat, reddit lives.

They lost the badge of anonymous nearly 20 years ago.

no clearly he was behind it, probably had some criminal friend supply the drugs and raid your house.

For a guy who pretends to be super manipulative, he sure was kinda retarded in how he went about trying to play you though.

>This is exactly why I lie about my personal wealth and tell people I never owned crypto.
Yeah. In 2015, though, Bitcoin wasn't some huge "he made billions in untraceable Bitcoin!" thing -- unless of course you were one of the people who devoted your life to it in the 2009-2011 timeframe, which I obviously wasn't or I wouldn't have been working a day job any longer -- it was a "here's the future of payments on the internet and maybe some day it will take off" thing. People who claim to have known that the price was going to do a 100X from 2015-2017 are sniffing their own farts waaaaay too much. I expected $25K in 5 years, which happened but not because of any of the economic uses that I expected would happen. And in the meantime it was down in the toilet, as low as $3K in 2019.

>>61243542
I made the assumption that after I quit talking to him (and the rest of the crowd quit talking to me because he was one of the main people behind the get-togethers and I was no longer going to them), he wouldn't continue to stalk me. Yes, it was a mistake in hindsight.

>>61243688
Oh, I'd definitely put my best efforts toward killing him if he ever shows up again, because the only reason I'd ever run into him is if he had tracked me down with the intent to kidnap me again. I'm in a different country on a different continent in a different hemisphere now.

>>61243684
>he sure was kinda retarded in how he went about trying to play you though.
My take on it is that he was/is a sociopath, which is probably why he always seemed so fake.

>probably had some criminal friend supply the drugs and raid your house.
I've never used the darknet markets or had any experience with buying illegal drugs, but they seem to be commonly available everywhere. And where we were living, pharmacies usually don't care about seeing a prescription when supplying medications, at least for the ones I bought (antibiotics, blood pressure drugs). Even if our local pharmacies gave a shit about someone buying scopolamine (commonly used as an anti-nausea medication for people going out on boats), it was a short trip to other countries where pharmacies definitely would supply anything that anyone wanted to pay for. Reading some of the Thai expat forums, it was kind of amazing how many of them thought Valium and Xanax were for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Not to mention all the Viagra sold from tables out on the street to all the old guys dragging hookers back to their hotel rooms.

I think I'm gonna end up like that dude. I just moved to the countryside because I was completely alone living in a big city, so what was the point? Sold my appartment, got 400k euros for it and bought a small house in a small town with only 300 people in it. The house only cost me 50k. I don't work though.

Buy FI.
Sell at 140 in 6 month. 2X
>>
>>61245361
walk around town, see what social activities are up, befriend a bored father in need of male companionship and you get quasi adopted to an extent. In a small town everyones kinda bored, lonely and sick of talking to the same people all the time, so long as you can hold a basic convo with old people that is.

Sounds like the life of a Holy Fool. God bless Him for he shall inherit the Earth. For him God’s love will be everything.

For those who worshiped money and things in this life while scorning and looking down at their fellow man the warmth of His love will become the fires of Hell.

I think about doing that sometimes. Just fucking off into the woods. It's free out there, you know.
