>print ~200 billion dollars a month for 20 years
>recently accelerated to 700 BILLION DOLLARS a month
>no inflation
how did they do it? Like I thought the US is the reserve currency so we can print without inflation. What gives?

It's called capital controls
Also the CCP can literally freeze the market if too many people are selling and other wacky shit

most of that money is sourced from government loans to builders that the chinese workers eventually parked in banks because they love to save money. they aren't buying their own plastic goytoys so the money isn't circulating proper back to the factories.

so because of all this overdevelopment caused by rampant loaning, those loans are never getting paid back. you have empty apartments and factories and you have toxic debt sitting in the banks, right? sounds bad. however you also have all that juicy consumer savings. if things ever get really bad they can just bail-in, so it's actually 100% sustainable as long as they obfuscate the process and silently steal back the money from the people.

If you have massive economic growth you can expand the money supply and nothing will happen.
