>new to finace and crypto
May I have this boards focus set upon HBAR. The only coin which doesnt use the/a blockchain.
What is the consensus on this? Why are there so many top tier companies backing them?

I am past the meme coin/lottery coin/pumpNdump schemes. I just want to invest in a currency that actually has real world application. "Utility coins" to me seem like mumbojumbo. desu these companies with these projects may be genuine, but their utility coin is nothing more than proof you were a donator/financier of the company. Similar to being a stakeholder and purchasing stocks, yet without any promise on returns. The only return is digital numbers in a digital wallet. Valueless.
Can someone tell me if there is a currency out there who's coin will or can be used to purchase a service/goods? BTC could've been such a thing yet turned into a digital deposit box for when things go rough. Like buying into gold, which also makes no sense since you are never in possession of said gold.

I read that only DASH and (i think) NANO are the only ones actually being used in purchases.

Please any upcoming or already established promising futuristic currencies that actually deserve peoples attention.
