Should mention the article make no such mention of the timeline, they mention that economy-wide productivity growth had stagnated for more than a decade after computers became widespread and only began to increase after 1996.
A similar timeframe would mean the lost thirties and booming forties; my intuition says the timeframe will be a lot faster, as AI seems to be less demanding in structure and training.
