Hey OP, my dog of 15 years (she was a 60 lb dog, so quite old for her size) passed away literally in my arms in September, felt her last heart beat. Some days are hard but it gets a little bit easier as time goes on. Your girl is in a better place now, free of pain. She loved you unconditionally and cherish all the amazing memories you made with her. Unfortunately all our lives come to a close, and the only thing you can keep is the wonderful memories you made. She knows you loved her dearly.
