Any of you nerds own Nintendo?
>>61254406No but my uncle works at Nintendo.
>>61254406My dad does
It was silly of me not to buy during the Wii U era considering their cash reserves. I think they're overvalued now
>>61254406I own a switch, bought it 3 years ago. never played it. Its just sitting in the box. Never opened it. Cant be bothered. Might throw it out.
>>61254406Yeah, I have an old NES.
Maaan, I cringe at my nintendo and anime phase. A weeb phase obsessed with Japan. When I was a little kid I dreamed about buying nintendo shares, I thought they would give you a dimploma or a certificate or something proving that you owned a part of nintendo o_O. Without that cringe phase, I wouldn't have found 4chan.I could have been different.
>>61254406I do. I think they have a winning product that proved this year they can rise prices however they want because nobody else has it, they are an indispensable company, wide moat, and in good health, while in Japan, they are starting and expanding their theme park business. It's worth mentioning that their console is the only remaining system with exclusive content there is (save for PS5 Astrobot), and they are the last remaining major Japanese softwre developer and franchise owner after others became smaller and Sony moved their entertainment HQ to fucking California, where they are now burning DEI money on blue hair shit and sinking millions in revolting woke games nobody want to play. So I feel very bullish at Nintendo despite their valuation.
I never liked Nintendo games. The Wii was innovative with the motion controls, and the DS was interesting with its touchscreen and sound detection but the ganes seemed like something you'd play for a week before getting bored. I had a Playstation 1 and 3, loved those. Missed out on 2 but I'm using an emulator now
