I can’t believe what a scam 90% junk is. I just went to sell the equivalent of 21.5 ounces of silver and I got $780. So I could only get like 16 ounces of silver back (rounds), and would have been even less for quality silver. I’m slowly siphoning out of it and thankfully I don’t have a lot of it, but it’s going to be funny when Millenials in their 50’s who have $1,000+ Face value who are probably going to get half of what I just got at best when shit really starts getting real.

I can’t believe what good deal 625 junk is. I just went to sell the equivalent of 21.5$ ounces of paper and I got 7.80 troy ounces of silver. So I could get like 160$ ounces of paper back (notes), and would have been even less for quality digital tokens. I’m slowly stacking more of it and thankfully I have a lot of it, but it’s going to be funny when Millenials in their 50’s who have $1,000+ paper value who are probably going to get nothing of what I just stacked since I won't sell my silver for paper when shit really starts getting real.

And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!”

A denarius, about 4 gram of silver at the height of the roman empire before they diluted the silver content with lesser metals, hence the first hyperinflation. Do you see now? I don't even believe we have much more time before Jesus' Return regardless. all my wealth will melt away in my hands like hot wax, fine sand rinsing trough my fingers. but this is a sacrifice i am highly willing to take, infact it doesn't even feel like one. As he said no erthly riches enter his kingdom, like the trader who can't bring his camel trough the citie's needle ear.

Platinum is primarily an industrial metal so its prospects are different from gold, which is primarily a monetary metal, and silver, which is both industrial and monetary. Platinum is a bet on the world economy limping along into a future which will include nuclear energy and hydrogen ICE and FCE land and air vehicles. A global economic meltdown will set platinum back a decade or more. It makes for a more diverse metals portfolio, but I would suggest buying silver first, then gold, then platinum. .

>china holds the largest gold reserves, why would they dilute it with something
To be fair, gold is the primary conductor used for literally everything because it's so tarnish-resistant. If they could print infinite gold and bring the price to zero they would because they could load up all their electronics with gold, which is a slightly worse conductor than silver but would never ever have a single problem with tarnish / oxidizing / the environment / anything.
There's something to be said about a metal that can be left underground in poor conditions for 2,000 years and still be fine, that is also one of the best conductors in existence. If they could make it free they would in a heartbeat, it would give them a monopoly on electronics, even more than right now.

It seems like almost everyone just buys a house now as the first big purchase. That's what the ones with good jobs do, and the ones with bad jobs don't even bother with anything because they're priced out. Boomers seem to be rich from just gradually buying up houses and putting aside maybe 5% of their paycheck.
The youth (under 40's) have literally NOTHING from what I've seen of them, or at least only the girls get paid decent money and then they do girl spending and save 0 dollars of it. Most they'll have is if they're married they'll have a mortgage on a house.

this is from a family of stingy pollacks btw, even though they make decent money it gets spent on trips to europe / mexico / ecuador. The money for anyone with decent jobs just gets slurped up immediately into more luxury spending, girl spending.
Like just to show how broke they are they all make around 60-70k, but none of them will have 100,000 invested by 30. And they've all had jobs as long as they could. This is actually normal.

For those of you who didn't filter me immediately over an image of a goblin like some boomer autistic sperg faggot, I have infiltrated a holistic healing group of like 5000 or more people and have slowly been truth pilling and white pilling people on the holistic healing of silver and gold. Real trustafarian shit. I finally had a little group meeting with those who were interested IN THE IMPORTANCE OF STACKING METAL. And three of them already went out and bought silver and gold. A lot of these tweens and thirtysomethings were totally bought into the healing effects of crystals that don't do jack shit. So I had to discuss the quiet nature of silver and the historical significance of gold in ancient rituals (to make them feel contraindicated enough for their rebel side to come out). So now at the very least they now know a concerted effort to hide the effects of silver and gold exists. And I made a few stackers out of about a hundred hours of effort posting on their blogs paid by their ultra wealthy parents. If I could paint a picture of it all it involved a lot of dreadlocks as they directed poignant questions as to why the utilitarianism of gemstones is retarded and historically false. So there is a victory at least, albeit small, and for far too great an effort in my opinion. But a victory nontheless.
>>
>>61284003
I remember going with a family friend to a crystal meeting of some kind at a private home one time.
It was a Group of a about twenty people gathered in a nice large home in a wealthy part of town. Most of the attendees were 30 somethings to muddled aged folks. Mild mannered, white collar people.
They were just talking about crystals and discussing the "healing potential" and "focusing power" for meditation and "raising your consciousness" type of thing.
I was only maybe 18 y.o.. at the time. I had an open mind about most things but I couldnty get any type of feeling or vibes off those crystals at all
I remember they'd pass around a crystal, hand it from person to person in our group sitting in a circle. They were like, here hold the crystal in your hand for a minute and feel it's power.
I couldn't feel a thing, lol. It felt just silly.

Idolatry comes in many forms fren, and I, too, have this same experience, I've also seen the dark side of the gold alchemical "health" sorcery, more like vampires, but I digress. Getting others to let go of superstitious and dark practices isn't easy, but kudos for being in the field, in the fight.

Fair assessment, not going to deny it, but you "being dragged" kicking and screaming the whole way through, I'm sure, found yourself sitting cross-legged holding a rock feeling silly. I was projecting a little, and relating one of my teenage experiences, one would say, "How is stacking any different?" To which I would answer, "collecting rocks because I imagined that they possess supernatural powers, vs collecting money because it's got tangible power are completely different things."

At least a few hundred by Phil Low's standards. A hundred for land, a hundred for a home and a hundred for spending. For me personally I don't even know how much I have anymore. The truth is whatever you're comfortable with holding is up to you, it can't ever hurt you by holding more as long as you can protect what's yours.

OK but for real, surely anyone with over 110 IQ sees the flaw in this?
Like if 10,000 dollars becomes 100,000 dollars the other 90,000 has to come from somewhere, and if wealth just "snowballs" like this wouldn't this make capitalism the most evil jewish system imaginable because if someone has a million already they'll just slurp up more and more?
Like, the theory is nice and all and I'm happy for you if you can get rich from this, but where does all of this additional growth money come from? If poors are figuring out this investing thing what have the rich been doing for the past 100 years? They would've owned society completely by now.

I just don't trust such schemes, it's not even a "buy low sell high" scheme like standard merchant business, it's a "buy at any point and it compounds" scheme - literally a ponzi scheme.
Maybe once it crashes I'll hop into the bottom of the next ponzi, but I'm not considering this real wealth or reliable in any way.

My order for the month came today faster than expected
Last month they had trouble sending it but this time it arrived no problem
A 20 franc peace which puts me at exactly 9 OZ of gold and a 5 mark coin from the 60s just for fun
Its fascinating to see the degradation of money of happen to fast this is the sort of stuff my grandparents used as regular money and now its worth more than the euro because of the silver
I think keep it on my desk as a reminder
I also bought a few ygo cards which came today I haven't played seriously since 2019 but i wanted to get back into the game and bought 3 copies of the new structure deck

They aren't buying millennial rocks they just shill them, all the pics they post are stolen from reddit

The reason baggies are cashing out their 401k and sends them into a tailspin is that bankers are very interested in the velocity of money. They were attempting to build an economic "perpetual motion machine". The benefits with retail bullion sales is they are taking savings that were tucked away out of the reach of the banks. Sure, the local coin shop is earning a large fee on each transaction, but the vast majority of the sale goes towards the government in taxes and penalties giving more and more to the deep state to give to more patron ngos who are keen on the paper ponzi.

This idiotic transaction baggies engage in fuels the growth of government, mass immigration and consumption or is recycled through the precious metal ponzi. The fact that it impoverished the pmg baggie and rendered him childless is a side benefit that elicits great joy amongst the deep state.

Well, since in my area you can never ever find real silver you're stuck with plate crap with zero bullion value.
But I picked up a spoon for 25 cent recently, inlaid, that I think probably has about a buck of silver in it - but you'd really only ever know by melting it down yourself, and that's the only way you're ever gonna sell it.

Bayhorse was a funny meme for a good long while through 2019 and 2020 pmg.
It's was all in Good fun not shilling the company at all. It was like batbois and owlies.
But then at some point some presumptuous upitty niggers started hanging around here and decided they were entitled to police the board and tell everyone else what to do.
Eventually some folks conceded I guess and then pmmg was created..
Haven't seen or heard from Panman ever since those days. A great loss to pmg.

these aren't mutually exclusive

bayhorse is a fraud company pretending to mine silver in order to milk investors for cash to pay for the fat, stupid CEO's multimillionaire lifestyle.

that doesn't mean it won't ever go up in price. It just means it won't ever mine any silver.

>I like how one talent of silver troughout different civilizations averages to about 1000 troy ounces. a literal made it stack, an entire master craftsman's life wage
In the Parable of the Talents specifically, it wouldn't be quite that much. "Talent" in that context meant about 6,000 denarii. Before Nero debased the coin, 6,000 denarii would contain about 737 troy ounces of silver.

But yeah, it's about a lifetime's worth of wages. If a worker earned the standard one denarius a day and worked the standard six days a week, 6,000 denarii is more than 19 years of wages. And workers didn't live very long then. (If they survived to adulthood, they'd live another 25-30 years on average.)
>>
>>61286439
Eh, adjusting for excess child mortality, the average adult male in 1st century Rome could expect to live to 60 or 65.
>>
>>61286453

Despite my FUD of junk. I like it too. 1/6th of your entire stack feels fine. I’m still keeping some of it. But I think making it half your stack or more is irresponsible. Even before thinking about any of this I naturally wouldn’t have went that hard into junk. But now seeing what these dealers did? Yeah I wouldn’t be comfortable owning more than 1/6th in junk. And I say that knowing there is very well a possibility where junk could totally reverse course and fetch high premiums like a few years back in whatever uncharted waters we are entering into with respect to metals. What I do know is I won’t have to worry with premium silver.
>>
>>61285943
People do it to remove tarnish. It did what it is supposed to do. You, the owner, need to decide if you want tarnish removed. You didn't do what you are supposed to do.
>>
I dont think I'll buy anymore 90% silver. Even before the silver price run up, it already was selling for spot. Dealers and wholesalers didnt want it then and even now they still dont want it. Even when the whole lba fuckwhoever demand is over and refiners start accepting it again, no one is going to be paying more for 90%.

>Pay rent and get no return
Not that simple though, if you're putting a 50k downpayment on a house you're losing out on the potential gains that 50k make, sure you have the "upside" of the house's increase in price but if you're not some faggot flipper you aren't gonna see that money.
Basically housing is NOT actually some amazing financial decision. Paying rent with no return is often times better than dropping 50k one year and then building a roof the next and painting siding the next and fixing the plumbing in the house next, ect. Buying a house is a massive risk and it's been overshadowed by their monumental increase in prices recently. Paying someone's mortgage temporarily for 5-10 years almost seems nice in comparison, if it's a place with decent rent + a roommate.
>>61286699
I did it to see what it would look like with tarnish removed, and turns out tarnish actually just makes the stuff look better usually. That's what I was thinking at the start, but I was already 1/2 testing the baking soda method anyway.
>>61286710
This is just meaningless speculation, but normalniggers LOVE coins and they're the first things to sell at any estate sales. I'd rather have old coins because they have some high perceived value, even if they're looked down upon by some bullion bank or refiner or whatever.

It isn’t even a question of getting spot or more for me. I don’t really care if it’s a few bucks under spot getting now, or let’s say silver is at $250 and I would get $220 for it. Those are both fine by me (if I was interested in selling into fiat), or if I had a 2 week window to sell for fiat to get a home that’s totally crashed in fiat price relative to silver. Spot to 20% less that spot for junk I wouldn’t care. I’m worried about them not accepting it at all or giving you like 70% under spot for it when silver prices go high.

If 1/6th of my stack is in junk and that happens, well, isn’t the end of the world. But more than 20% exposure to junk and that’s a big chunk you’d get screwed on potentially.
>>
>>61286733
Before the price run up this year, junk silver was still selling for near spot and its buy back price was back of spot. Now, its flat out being refused to be bought or for a huge back of spot price. There's a reason sellers are have done non-stop spot or below spot sales on 90% for months. They're dumping all of it on consumers.
>>
>>61284512
Correct, it's always time to aquire gold and silver.
>>
>>61286768
>If 1/6th of my stack is in junk and that happens, well, isn’t the end of the world. But more than 20% exposure to junk and that’s a big chunk you’d get screwed on potentially.
Very true, then it's about exposure to risk and diversifying your stack. My target is about 50% because I'm literally never ever selling more than half of my stack in one period, so it doesn't matter to me.
>>61286781
I'm aware. They have to make money from it, there's no point where they sit still and don't try to make money from an asset. No business can just have a million sitting around doing nothing for them. I can. I plan to long-term hold silver no matter what the price does in case it goes to unobtainum, so there's a large chunk of my stack I'm never selling and basically me holding it doesn't matter, even if it takes 20 or 30 years to sell.

No harm in experimenting. Silver is like magic. You can put the tarnish back if you want. Scramble some eggs and put them in a plastic bag with the spoon. Leave it until it takes on the patina you like. Probably will not look exactly like the original patina. But there is a chance it will look better. Experiment! and have fun.
