It is because I stay at home with mommy and daddy having finished university at a commuter school which my grandfather paid for. Probably a third to a half of that 100k is from my grandfather. I only started working less than two years ago I never really spent the money I made. But in those two years I worked like a dog, at one point I was working two jobs while in my last semester of school. Until recently when I lost 6000 in profits after not selling some ridiculously lucky pumps when I should have, then I blew some money on some chink shit off Amazon. For how well off I am and how lucky I got I should have 500k in my investing account, I just barely escaped being a NEET. I would not doubt that some of these redditors are in the same boat as I am, but most of them probably worked harder. Reading the horror stories on this website and seeing the way the job market is in right now, those two things absolutely influenced my work and spending habits.
