Hello /biz/. I'm from Mexico and lately our country’s economy is looking uncertain. The government is trying to gain more control over institutions that are supposed to protect democracy.Even though the economy hasn’t been hit hard yet, it looks like things could go very wrong in the future similar to what happened in Bolivia, or even worse like Venezuela or Cuba.I’m wondering what the best long-term option would be to protect myself in case things go bad. I was thinking of keeping my savings in 40% USD, 10% BTC, and the rest in my local currency.Does this sound like a good idea?
