Serious question. When should I sell if the price seems to be steadily going down for any asset or coin?If I don't cut my losses and continue to hope, I could lose everything! But what if it goes up?What heuristics do you use to make decisions here? Intuition only?
>>61315705Heuristic = never selling at loss
>>61315705Just hold. That's what I do.
I try to set a stop loss but human error sure is a funny thing. 3 times in the last month I've lost money on crypto from not setting stop losses and boy am I tired. Fuckin 1200 dollars down.
>>61315705If it's not bitcoin, sell when the upward momentum stalls, and never think about it again.
I just hold, some coins I was up 10x but didn't sell, now most of them I'm at a 90% loss.
>>61316245Are you going to continue to just hold the next time you’re up 10x?
I only sell from a project I no longer like to a different crypto strategy, but my strategy is still crypto. The only way I would sell out of crypto is if I stopped believing in blockchain. I don’t see that happening anytime soon.
>>61316045It doesn't, it hits a peak and IMMEDIATELY DROPS 90%!EVERY DAMN DAY!Good news, bad news, govt opens after 40 fucking days and it DROPS?FUCKING WHY!?THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN IN THE LAST 4 YEARS, YOU FAGGOTS JUST HATE TRUMP SO FUCKING MUCH!I WANT MY 5 MIL MAKE IT TO FINALLY FUCKING MAKE IT!!!!!!!!
