This is by far the most valuable lesson I've ever learned in trading cryptoBTC is maybe the only long-term exception, and I say "maybe" because I don't want to come across as a BTC maxi. I can see scenarios where it's even okay to sell BTC as long as you know for sure you'll get gains in a next coin
For anything other than BTC, always be taking profits.
>>61317878No one knows for sure youl'l get gains in another coin. 99.99% of coins go to 0 in the long run.0.01% of them stick around and become permeant crabbers except a spike every 10 years (chainlink/Zcash/XRP).and of that 2 of them out of the millions of coins have actually hit 'made it' status (BTC and Eth), and eth hasn't net moved in 5 years now.Like if you took 100k in 2017, and invested in the S&P. Your gains wouldn't be that far off BTC gains. You'd have 3x'd your money instead of 5x'd with bitcoin. If you liked graphic cards in 2017, and decided to invest in Nvidia you would have destroyed both BTC and Eth, by over 50x.
>>61317878Most people who say never marry your bags are broke/poor shitskins with trust issues that probably grew up without a father. All my best gains came from marrying my bags
>>61317883Btc was the only coin to deliver profits this cycle
>>61317931There is no good reason to not sell the majority (if not all) of your stack in a token after achieving a 2x-5xThere are plenty of holders out there whose token did a 5x before but they foolishly held because they "just know" it'll eventually do a 10x minimum
>>61317878Bro i have lost money on or made pathetic amounts with absolutley everything except the one coin im married to since 2018.
>>61318046>10x is now impossible in cryptoDead market, just going in on stocks at the bottom of the trump recession in 2026.
>>61317878I love my bags.I will literally never ever sell my XRP.
>>61317878No shit captain obvious. But guess what.
