Richfags, what do you tell your friends and family? Do they know you're rich?
>>
most of my friends are in a similar economic class. Turns out people who are not even poor just middle to lower upper class don't rent aspen ski houses, have 200k track cars to go racing with, and take 30,000 dollar trips to Italy over thanksgiving. It's really just an IQ test, to make it for late 30s and literally have nothing of your life, are those people you'd want to have as friends anyway?
>>
>>61318359
i don't tell them shit. the first time i made a million dollars i told my dad and he told everybody in the fucking universe even though i explicitly told him not to tell anyone else. years later i'll meet random friends of his that will ask me about it and i have to lie and tell them my investments went south and i sold and only invest in traditional stuff now.
>>
Its sad but I realised that if my family died, I would feel good. Liberated. Free.
>>
>>61318359
Not made it, never will make it at this rate
But I think if a large part of your gains are coming from crypto you should only tell a soul once you’ve cashed out everything for good
Imagine bragging that you’ll never have to work again and then your 7 figures in cumcoin tanks overnight
>>
>>61318373
I thought that it would be impossible to look normal while also being retired in my 30s. Turns out most people don't really bother doing the mental math and just figure you're "decently well off" rather than a multimillionaire. My family knows of course.>
>>
My cousin told me he was rich and I reported him to the IRS that very day lol.
>>
>>61318373
>years later i'll meet random friends of his that will ask me about it
Don't give them shit. Their wants aren't your problem. I once gave a cousin $60,000 after a sad story, and they immediately went to los vegas. DONT GIVE THEM SHIT.
>>
>>61318412
I gave a buddy my old car and it worked out though. Helped him get out of the cycle of pouring money into a decaying rustbucket just to be able to commute. I think that giving stuff away is less problematic than just handing out cash
>>
>>61318359
Tell them you're in the matrix just like everyone else. Become a grey man and don't rock the boat, drive a pedestrian shit box and wear pleb garb from Walmart, don't flaunt your wealth, appear weak when you're strong type of thing. It's game over when someone decides to snitch on you, whether that be an audit or to deadbeat family and friends that'll make your life hell. Enjoy your money in private away from everyone else, in places no one visits or far away where no one knows you. Also, don't get married, that should be obvious.

Define 'rich'

When people ask me what I do I'll usually say small engine repair out if my pole barn (because it's a hobby of mine), but then that opens up a Pandora's box where random people start calling me to fix their shit and I'm like "sorry dawg I'm all booked up". I'll recommend another small business just by looking on Google then the business contacts me to ask why I keep sending them retards with broken 30 year old Craftsman lawnmowers and I just never call them back. Also everyone will ask me car repair questions and I have to make shit up on the fly.

If possible your cover story should be something you have genuine industry experience in so you never get caught out by one of these questions

Absolutely not. I hide it as best I can. I'm still sub 7figs so it's not that hard, but I haven't worked in over three years so it's obvious something's going on.
I'm actually laundering my money as an author. I wrote a few books (don't actually make much money on it) but starting in January I'm going to pretend it's enough to pay the bills.
I had one aunt get nosy and start asking if I worked for the FBI or some shit. Very rude of her, but that's EXACTLY why I keep my mouth shut. If she knew I was sitting on a stack of wealth, she'd be after it or telling everyone she knew, and word would get around, and then I'd have gold diggers and gangbangers after me. No thanks.
Anyway I rent a small, but nice, apartment in a good area and drive an old, but reliable, car. I travel a lot, but it's always budget.
I have one friend who was deep in xrp and I think he's mid 7figs now. I'm happy for him. Wish I had gotten in at 25c when he did, but it is what it is. And even he doesn't know how much I have, just that I'm comfortable not working.

My name is rich so yes they know.

He probably did this because he wanted to socially signal that his son wasn't a loser. I'm not trying to attack you when I say this. Mothers are especially bad at not telling other women about their son's wealth for this reason. You can tell her all you want to keep to quiet, but she's probably gonna blab about it.

Trust me I know. My goal right now is to sell near this cycle's top and get up to 10BTC during the bear market. I'm hoping to re-enter at 40-50k BTC and make it happen.

If not I'll have to get a real job fml

Also, while WE know 6figs ain't shit, I've got family scraping by drowning in low 5figs of debt and floundering. They're retarded. But if they knew I could single handedly wipe out the entire family's total debts in one go, they'd be livid if I refused. So it's better for everyone they think I'm a PTSD paranoid schizo (true) and don't know I'm actually rich (compared to them).

Only tell other rich people. Protect your peace. You should live in a neighborhood where driving a BMW doesn’t make you stick out.
>>
>>61318671
Cool, I take back my hating. Good luck to you.

You’re going to have to get a job unless you’re 50+ already

I had a decent job before crypto and they all just think I'm doing good at my "job". that's really how I hide it. my brother gets suspicious that I am always able to take off whenever he needs something or wants to do something kek. he straight up asked if i hit the lottery and was faking having a job and I told him no with a clean conscious because i didnt hit the lottery
>>
Not rich (1.3m) but everyone I told started resenting me and or implying I didn't deserve it. Even family members who should be rooting for me to succeed. What the fuck is wrong with people? If my siblings won the lottery I'd be happy for them.

I haven't told anyone however ever since I bought a nice home, about 50 percent of my friends definitely have changed the way they behave around me so I know they know I've done well. Most of their behavior is kinda salty and hateful. Some almost look at me as if I figured out some sort of secret in life and think I'm some sort of genius. And now look to me for advice on shit now.

I don't trust people in general , I trust people even less now, I avoid people more now. I could make new friends with people in a different class, for example I live in a neighborhood full of entitled pricks and I don't want to be thier friends but they are probably at the same level ase financially. I kinda feel mostly lonely.

However one very positive thing I still work but I actually enjoy my job now, it's a creative job, I used to hate it for the pressure of deadlines and expectations, but now that I don't desperately need this job, I enjoy it now because I don't care if I get fired, I love the feeling of how I can basically tell my boss to fuck off anytime with zero care of getting fired but strangely I noticed nobody also gives me a hard time anymore, doesn't overload me with any unrealistic amount of tasks, its as if I clearly carry myself in the most convincing manner that I don't need this job and applying any form of pressure is not working. I think they know I'm not in fear of any repercussions, they stopped taking advantage of me, it's a bizarre liberating feeling. Very strange observation

These are my results on an IQ test I took when I was younger. I live with my parents making 65,000 dollars as a civil engineer.

>What the fuck is wrong with people?
It's normal. Well, normal for our sick fucked up society where oversupply is a serious problem and we haven't developed an economic system of distribution that makes sense yet, after a hundred years.
>worker productivity too high
>too many goods produced
>lowering prices as supply and demand laws indicate means can't pay back usurious interest bearing loans
>propagandize people to make them materialistic and feel deprived and generally bad with money
>not enough good paying jobs to go around
>race to the bottom with propaganda on top
Your family members feel like they don't have enough, feel like you don't deserve it, and that they should have what you have (even though if they had it, they'd squander it instantly). It's best to only associate with your wealth class, for the most part, and just minimize contact with bucket crab poorfags.

That's how life is SUPPOSED to be. That's a basic level of respect EVERYONE should be entitled to.
Expect to get fired and replaced with five desperate jeets soon, though. It can only last so long. Everyone is replaceable.

If only you had been properly educated...
It's not your fault though. The education system is designed to handicap people.

it's just how rich your grandparents and parents were. My first gen doctor friends don't do any of that shit while my rich friends were doing that shit while still in college

Quit my job and bounced to SEA. Everyone thinks this is a one-year “sabbatical” thing before I go back to work. Truth is, I’m financially set for life. The only things tying me back to America are the house and car I'm still paying for and my parents/sisters. Only a couple of people know I’m loaded: a friend from school (rents out a few houses through his rich wife and he's still working a comfy hospital pharmacy gig) and an old Vietnamese dude from my past hospital job (investments + sold his wife’s nail salon).
