Bitcoin has no ceiling because the dollar has no floor.

The nation state has failed and there is no better place than Bitcoin to store your funds. Gold will be played from you at the border crossing.

200k EOY. This is the final shakeout.

If the dollar has no floor, then you better be more concerned with real gains and not nominal gains.
If all fiat blows up, that means the bond market as well as the banks will go too. Real-world capital and commodities will rule the day, not another fiat-proxy such as Bitcoin. Such a crash will be one of resource scarcity and BTC will have no use in such a scenario. I think BTC being at $120,000 per coin is absurd, and it will never be more valuable than present day when the dollar and bond market are still standing. Once those pillars fall, you won't have the full unbridled access to resources that it offers you. Society will get materially poorer and BTC won't offer much reprieve.

So you're saying bitcoin is destined to replace cash as the single worst place to park funds? Wierd flex but ok.
>>
>>61328916
I think you are taking it too extreme. Society will be able to hold it together for another 100 years with a slow bleed of 10% a year inflation until technology advances to the point the top 1% can escape to their space colonies and private islands. Which will all run on their own currencies with Bitcoin being the middleman.

Wrong. The government loses HALF of its income to paying interest alone. We are a single doubling period away from being entirely subsumed by the debt.
They are trying to bide time with immigration VISAs, and tariffs to scrape out any amount of tax revenue they can to keep the ship afloat, but things are not looking good. We have like $9TN to refinance over the next few years at a HIGHER rate of interest as well.

>Bitcoin has no ceiling because the dollar has no floor.
This would be a totally moronic argument if applied to a real use-value like gold because, while its *dollar-denominated* price has no ceiling, its purchasing power remains roughly the same subject, subject to the relative supply and demand of gold and all other goods in the economy.
In fact, what you should have said is "bitcoin has no ceiling because stupidity and avarice has no ceiling".
>The nation state has failed
No it hasn't
>there is no better place than Bitcoin to store your funds.
Yes there is: bank accounts, stocks, real estate, bonds, etc. There are almost no worse places to "store your funds" than Bitcoin. I don't think it can even be described as storing your funds. You gave away your funds when you bought the bitcoin to the guy who sold it for you, in exchange for a worthless token. You hope to sell that worthless token to another gullible idiot when your rent comes due.
>Gold will be played from you at the border crossing.
Your passphrase will be beaten from you with a $5 wrench idiot
>200k EOY.
And when this doesn't happen you'll admit defeat? Obviously not.
>This is the final shakeout.
Fat chance.

loving these cope threads at crypto enters the most obvious bear cycle in its short history
you'd have to be pretty retarded to keep holding but that's what most of /biz/ does

It's a new paradigm, and everybody who doesn't buy, now, will be priced out forever. Anybody who does buy will be rewarded with a lifetime of riches, as their bitcoin will continue its 30% monthly price increase.

Nocoiners, and anybody born in a future generation, will not be able to afford a $10,000,000 satoshi in 15 years. They will live in tent cities, and Hondas.

This asset bubble is different than all of the others - it will never slow down, or pop. The gains are permanent.

You mean the end of this year? Maybe 140 to 150, but 200K in 6 weeks is not happening.
