wtf is Tom Lee babbling on CNBC? he is saying crypto is crashing due to a liquidation event on the 10th of October that is comparable to an event in 2022? does he realize how bad things are if this crash is comparable to something in 2022?

I know about this, they refunded the affected users!

what I am saying is that Tom Lee is shooting himself in the foot by saying this event is comparable to LUNA or whatever he other event he means. that would mean there is much more downside!!

There is no luna, there is no ftx now(yet).

> refunded the affected users
they refunded a few users after making billions from a coordinated crash

their losses will likely outweigh their gains on the long run though
> institutions have been pulling out of crypto after the 10/10 crash
> users are leaving exchanges because of manipulation
> nobody wants to buy crypto anymore after that poor performance of alts
> number of competitor exchanges growing fast and some work w/o KYC
> retail interest and web traffic dropping
