keep at it bro

you will win one day

Remember that it is statistically improbable to lose many times in a row, so if you lose a trade, next time use higher leverage (go from 10x to 15x for example). If you lose again use 20x the next time. That's how you make back the losses

This.

Try to toss a coin. It can land on heads 3 times in a row. Now how likely is it on your next throw that it's gonna land on heads a 4th time? It's much more probably that it's gonna be tails this time.

Learn into statistics and probability
>>
>>61368886
3/10 but I'm autistic and am going to respond anyway: the probability of seeing 4 heads in a row is about 6.25% but the probability of your next toss being heads is always 50%. Every toss is an independent event.
>>
>>61368902
No, it's simple logic and it's the same day of moment you are tossing coins. It can land on heads 3 times in a row, but it's bound to land on tails also. Especially if it already landed on heads 3 times in a row. There is almost no way it will land on heads a 4th time. Learn how to logic my friend
>>
>>61368886
I don't know if you're baiting or just retarded. You literally described the most common gambling fallacy. >>61368902 is correct. The next toss is 50%.
>>
>>61368902
>>61368914
But it's very unlikely to get 4 heads in a row, so if you already have 3 heads you are almost guaranteed to get tails on the next one.
>>

Maybe mathematically on paper or something they are right, but in real life, there is no way you can throw heads 4 times in a row.

Try it fucking now if you dont believe me.
>>
>>61368933
I have just explained, maybe on paper you are right. But in real life you are not. Prove it. Grab a coin from your wallet and throw it in the air 4 times. See if you get heads 4 times in a row.
>>
>>61368880
that's a man
>>
>>61368921
if you had 3 heads in a row your probability of getting tails on the next one is 50%.
The coin-toss is not influenced by the past. It is independent. You are mistaking the event probability for the joint-event probability of a compound-event made up of individual coin tosses for which the question would be "how likely is the probability of the next 4 tosses being x", to which the answer is (0.5 * 0.5 * 0.5 * 0.5 = 0.0625). But since you already did three tosses your question is "What is the probability of the next toss being x" - and the answer to that is: 0.5.
>>
>>61368962
i don't think that's how statistics works
>>
>>61368962
So lets say you have a pistol with 6 chambers but one round, you spin it and shoot but it clicks, then you spin it again, you would have again 1 in 6 chances of the bullet firing? Because I think you just have one chance less. Because that's how Russian roulette works.
>>
>>61368962
Mathematical theories and real life are different though. If you flip a coin 4 times in real life, you will almost never get 4 heads.

>If you flip a coin 4 times in real life, you will almost never get 4 heads.

This. What they are saying might make sense in theory, but in real life, the odds of throwing heads 4 times in a row are near to zero. I wouldn't count on it that's for sure. Anyway we are getting a bit offtopic now
>>
>>61368997
wanna bet?
>>
>>61368996
>>61368997
>If you flip a coin 4 times in real life, you will almost never get 4 heads.
Yes, if you flip the coin 4 times you will almost never see 4 heads, because the probability is:
Toss one: 50%
Toss two: 50% * 50%
Toss three: 50% * 50% * 50%
Toss four: 50% * 50% * 50% * 50%
but do you see that each toss individually added 50%. that is the probability of the next event being x: 50% - meaning that the probability of one toss outcome is not the same as the joint-probability of 4 toss outcomes.
>>
>>61369011
>Anyway we are getting a bit offtopic now
Yeah, but I think we uncovered the reason these people are down on their investments - they can't into math or logic.
>>
>>61369013
don't be mean to the dumb kids.
>>
>>61369034
Once again: Yes it's definitely possible someone once threw heads or tails 4 times in a row. Especially if you take into account thinks like the multiverse theory where there are an infinite realities and possibilities going on at the same time. So yes, in theory, in math, it might be possible that someone somewhere has throw heads or tails 4 times in a row. But in real life it's just not very likely. I wouldn't bet money on it. Which is the whole point of this thread. What's so hard to understand?
>>
>>61369034
So you're saying that if you flipped 4 coins right now, there's a 50 percent chance you would get 4 heads? Haha, sure buddy.
>>
>>61368821
That was my experience trading (in general, not just shorting) in 2019-2021. If I just held on to my 50 ETH, I'd be a very happy eastern european poorfag right now, but I thought I knew better and instead lost all my money day trading like a moron.
>>
>>61369042
Yes it's already possible you lose multiple times in a row, but the more times you lose, the bigger the chance is next time you win. That is why you bet more after each loss. So that when you finally win (and you will based on statistics) you make back your previous losses.
>>
>>61369046
>What's so hard to understand?
ok, let's look at your post here:
>>61368909
>Especially if it already landed on heads 3 times in a row. There is almost no way it will land on heads a 4th time.

so what you observed were three heads:
50% * 50% * 50% = probability of 12.5%
ok, now four heads in a row has a probability of 6.25% as it is 50% * 50% * 50% * 50%
so how many '50%' do you have to add to three times 50% to get to 4 times 50%?
do you get it? your next coin flip has an exact probability of one times 50% to come out heads.
That means each coin flips probability is 50% always.
and this is real life and you do not need to infer quantum physics. You only need to be very angry at your school for making you the way you are.
>>
>>61369059
I'm saying if you flipped three times and the result was three heads your chance of seeing yet another head is 50%
>>
>>61369046
If you toss a coin 4 times you have 16 different outcomes. Every outcome is just as likely as the next one, a 1/16 chance of happening. HHHH or TTTT is not any more or less likely than THHT.
>>
>>61369102
>a 6% chance

bro you need to understand how low that actually is. It is very unlikely to happen. Especially after 4 tries.
>>
>>61369126
yah, you're an idiot.
