Has anyone stacked gold in the form of gold wire? Is it available anywhere without an absurd premium? I'm into ball stretching and it just occurred to me since gold is 2.5x as dense as my stainless steel ball weights I could just wrap a few loops of gold wire around my nuts for the same hang but with much less bulk (and much more elegance). I was looking at tungsten wire for this as well but there appear to be a few health concerns associated with prolonged exposure to it. I also have a few generic gold ozs I wouldn't mind having reforged into a locking ball weight but I presume the cost to get that done would be better spent on more stacking.
