Hi /biz/ I have come over from /tv/
I don’t know shit about making money. I’m really dumb.
I’m 39 years old, live with my mum, I have a minimum wage part time job and >tfwnogf, truly a fa/tv/irgin.
My grandma passed away recently and left me $8,000 dollarydoos.
I don’t know anything about business or investing, but I want to be one of those guys who make a million dollars from crypto like all the podcasters do.

What should I do with my $8,000 to get a good future? I’d like to make it with crypto and then buy a house of my own one day. Maybe start a lawn mowing business?

What do you blokes think?

Not financial advice but if i were you I WOULD PUT IT INTO SILVER AND HOLD. Silver is the biggest mover of the market in the last year and it will climb even higher. Fuck crypto that is a scam and it will all crash in the upcoming market recession. Go to the /pmg/ thread search it in the catalogue and look at the videos. Silver is the most undervalued asset to ever exist in human history I don't care what anyone says ignore anyone else in this thread and go to the thread I told you about. Every street shitter on this board will try to get you to buy into their shitcoin but even btc is a fucking scam rugpull. I would avoid crypto, stocks -- anything that isn't silver. Silver will go to 100 next year.

There we go, a customer!
Here's one that I was planning on using. It doesn't have a high start up cost and is pretty tame. And yes it's legal. EU laws might vary though.
Helping businesses with cold email outreach. Particularly service businesses looking for new customers to help with their churn rate (customers that leave that they need to replace with new ones on a predicatble basis = average customer retention is 3 months, thus they need you to add customers X amount of times within a month. That's the sales pitch basically).
And there's two ways to go about this:
>You make the websites and run the emails for them to get new leads for your clients
>You sell the cold email capabilities and a guide on how to do it to your client

I've heard of a story where a guy would start doing cold email for lead generation for his clients, but he calculated on average the clients that wanted his cold email services only retained him for about a year, so then what he started doing was after about 8 months he would offer to sell his clients the email domains and ability to do the cold email themselves for a lump sum.
He said it was very successful.

It might sound silly, but if you're home you can do with relatively little interface with clients, especially depending on how you position yourself in the market. Once you get your clients leads (either person you emailed wants to schedule a call with your client to hear more, or they give you their phone number to call your client) You just pass it along. As for scheduling a call, you can use a Google Calendar link that is tied to your client, and they will block out times they're free and the person you emailed will press a time where it's convinient for them to contact your client.

You pay can vary. For lead generation, you can charge per lead, or a % of the contract, or a retainer. Or a combo.

Look up Instantly.ai, on YouTube. They have great videos on this. I used them before.

I think I’ll just invest in silver. I’m not really good with people. Thanks anyway

Another thing, you need to buy domain names from google domains, buy google workspace accounts, and then use an email warmer website like Instantly to warm the emails and monitor the "health" of the email domains you will use to send emails on behalf of your clients.
It takes about 2 to 3 weeks to warm an email. So when you do get a client it needs to be communicated to them that there will be a ramp up period. You can tell them that they don't pay until you get them leads OR you can just ask for a set up fee.

It doesn't cost a lot to set up an email too. Domains cost like $10, google workspace is $5 or $6 per email. Each domain can have 4 email accounts attached to it (more than that per domain is bad from what I remember).

And for each domain you need to set up the DNS setting. But again, Instantly has a guide on both their website and YouTube channel that made it possible to do it with zero DNS experience.
You just need to set up authentication tags
>SFP (I think that's what it was?)
>DMARC
>some other DNS tag which I've forgotten, I think it was something to let Instantly take control of your emails to monitor their help and warm them up
By the way, "warming emails" basically just means they send emails to their own accounts to increase the sender reputation/score. The sender reputation is like a credit score for emails. Good reputations means your emails will go through to Yahoo, Gmail, etc. Bad reputation has a higher fail rate.
If a domain get a bad rep, you need to buy a new one to replace it and just burn the domain.
Eventually you'll figure out how long a domain lasts you for a client, then expect how often you need to make a new one.

>I’m not really good with people
I haven't really wanted to deal with people, which is why I put it off so long. It's too bad really because I did a lot of research into it. I just never pulled the trigger, so to speak.
I wouldn't buy silver at the top, to be honest desu.
Palladium might be good though. I heard if the economy goes bad that would go up further.
Maybe get a combination of a few metals just to hedge yourself.

One last thing, you can use this email lead generation for more than just clients, if you ever thought of a service business that you (or other anons reading this) wanted to start, then it's a great way to get clients.
I've heard stories of people who ran their own cold email agencies just starting their own service businesses in the same fields of their clients and the doing better than other people in their space.
SO for any anons reading, if you think there's a service based business you'd like to start, you could potentially do lead gen in that field first and look at it like a practice lab/research to find what pitches work for a service niche you're thinking about getting into, and then when you start your own service business, you'll know exactly what's getting clicks for that service.
You'll eventually learn how many different emails you need to send to find new clients / work too, which is very important because then you'll know how many domains/emails you need to get X amount of jobs a month.

Anyways, just a thought. Jesus bless you all lads, I need to go to bed. Hope this helps some of you. Perhaps save these posts.
I wish you well OP. My great grandmother actually just passed away recently too. Good Christian. She communicated that she saw Jesus just moments before she passed, interestingly enough. Her funeral is tomorrow. She was great indeed.

don't let aljewnese from taxing it. just get a bundle of tokens.

i actually built something for your exact scenario.

prismata.xyz.

here's what you do:
>sign up for binance
>move money to binance
>create metamask wallet so you can actually use crypto apps
>buy eth in binance
>move eth from binance to your wallet
>go to prismata.xyz
>connect your wallet
>spend the eth
>get a random bundle in return

i can guide you through any steps because it sounds like you're new

8k isn't much
And your personal situation is grim
Even if you get a 5x, which is very unlikely, it doesn't really chance anything for you
But it's good that you recognize you're dumb...most dumb people never recognize that, despite a lifetime of evidence
You should probably just put the money into XOM (Exxon), watch how it behaves for a year, collect some quarterly dividends (probably like $69 per quarter) to understand what investing actually is, and in the meantime work on getting a better income

Buy 4000 in silver and the other 4000 in etf. And get a job
